Pull Up Style Vs. Tape On

i've been looking to try some new diapers, but all i can find locally are depends and store brands. one store has tenas, but all they had were the pull up style. up until now all i've tried are the ones with tapes.

how do the pull ups compare? if i add a booster/stuffer, will they hold as much as a tape on diaper? how does the fit compare?

I dislike pullups usually because they tend to be less absorbant. And sometimes they do not fit me as snuggly as a tape-on diaper leading to gaps and LEAKS! As my weight goes up and down, I can always size a tape-on to fit me correctly.

Oh - and those velcro tape diapers - what a joke. Can't even get them tight enough to stay up, let alone walk around without them leaking. The last ones became stuffers.

However, if you can get samples and try them for youself, they might work okay. I just never had much luck with them.

Just my personal thoughts.

I would suggest that if you can get down to an actual medical supply store to ask for them to order some better quality diapers than are available in the stores. You'd use less of them and be more comfortable.

Yeh pullups don't hold much at all - they are mainly for just minor leaks.

Tapes always win over pull-ups as far as I have tried. Even regular depends can beat special brands of pull-ups as far as comfort and leak prevention (at least for me).

if you want discrete then pullups are the way to go but it just depends on what brand you use

i kinda figured this was the response i'd get, but i wanted to hear it from people who've tried them.

i havent been to a medical supply store yet. i may call around tomorrow and see what they have.

store brand pull ups are shit

some mail order ones are fairly ok tho. I like the tranquility atn pullups, and abena has pull ups that are really really absorbant...the most absorbant pull up out there. They hold alot more than you'd think. They're kind if hard to find, but I'l give them a shot.

From a DL perspective, pull-ups just don't feel like diapers to me. They also look hideous.
