Codymoogle
Hi all, I just came back from getting food, and was stocking my pantry. More than half my pantry turned out to be baby or little kid oriented food (surprise surprise ). So, I decided to make a list of AB/AK Pantry stuff. This is my list of baby/kid oriented things that should always be in my pantry - no, they're not all "must haves" but they're things that I'd like to have available every day. Moogle's AB Pantry (includes refridgerated/frozen foods) Milk - Multiple uses. Do I even need to explain? Bread - See Milk. White or rye is my choice. 3rds Baby Food - Most kinds. Pediatric Drinks - I personally don't like baby formula, so this is the next best thing for me. Pedialyte - For when I'm sick and need the electrolytes, this is nicer than Gatorade. Fruits - Whole, sliced, and pureed. Spaghettios - Yum, these are great for lunch. Cheese - Cheddar especially. Chicken Noodle Soup/Tomato Soup - Goes nicely with grilled cheese. Creamy Peanut Butter - I prefer JIF, but any is good. Jelly (Jam) - Strawberry is my preference, but I'll eat any kind. Baby Cereals - Ideal for brekkie. Gerber Graduates Foods - I love these toddler oriented foods. Cheerios - Or some other "kid oriented/kid friendly" type cereal such as Kix, Life, Cap'n Crunch, Froot Loops, Cookie Crisp, etc. Mac and Cheese - C'mon, who doesn't like this? Hot Dogs - Goes nicely with Mac and Cheese. Tuna Fish - Tuna sammiches, yummm. I prefer Starkist tuna. Mayonnaise - Preferably Hellman's. Makes Tuna Fish gooood. Ketchup - I like Heinz the best. Ketchup is, in my opinion, THE "kid's condiment". Mustard - Another good condiment to have on hand. Fish Sticks - Goes great with Mac and Cheese. Juice - A staple. I like Juicy Juice, V8, and Welch's the best. My favorite kinds are apple, cherry, and grape. Koolaid - Ohhh yeah. Nesquik/Ovaltine/Yoo-Hoo - Chocolate drinks that are delicious. Pretzels/Popcorn - Yummy to snack on. Yogurt - Great as a snack or in smoothies, or even in Baby Cereal. Ice cream/Cookies/Pudding - Dessert anyone?! Any of these. So that's my list! What's yours? ~ Moogle Link to comment
Mintcola
Oh, wah, that's a nice list. XD I can't think of everything I'd want in my kitchen, but, I'll list as many as I can..! Milk - 'Cause it is milk and all! Though I mostly likes it just in mah cereals. Eggs - I need them to make my pancakes, and other things..and they're yummy! Farina or Cream of Wheat - My mommy used to feed this to me all the time when I was little and I still looove it. Oatmeal - Apple cinnomin please! Hot and/or cold chocolate mix - That's yummy too, as long as it's not -too- chocolatey. Mac and cheese - Especially if it's homemade. ^^ French toast sticks - I'm in love with these waffles - Great with lots and lots of syrup Cereal - I like a ton of different ones.. just run out of Honey Nut Cheerios, but I have Cap'n Crunch and Frosted Flakes still Soups and Cup of Noodles - I like chicken flavored ones Fruits - Mostly grapes, blueberries, pineapple slices Cookies and cake - Sooo unhappy when there's neither of these around to munch on. Popsicles - Now these are reeeally good. Especially red and green ones! Ice cream - I have butternut peacan at the moment..but I like plain vanilla, unless I'm craving chocolate! Fruit snacks - I have these little sticks of fruity jello at the moment that I'm in love with. >w< Annnd... I can't think of anythings more right now... I keep running into a blank. e.e Link to comment
