With Future Derailed done, I decided to start on this idea that has been bouncing around since my last cyberpunk story. There was no way I could keep up this pace. No jobs in two weeks. As if on cue, I got an incoming call. Brushing my limp mohawk out of the way, I pressed the little button behind my ear. "What's up?" "Is that how you always address someone offering you a job, Miss Baxter?" "Oh shit, Den? You got something for me?" On the other end of the call, they sighed. "Yes Lynn, I have a job for you. Can't you at least pretend to be professional for five minutes? This is a big one after all." "Oh! A big gig? And here I was thinking you didn't like me and my unprofessional ass." I couldn't help but laugh as I started getting dressed. "Oh Lynn, honey you know I've got nothing but love for you. Even still, I wouldn't be offering this to you if you hadn't been requested by name. Looks like you've got at least one fan out there, one with Eddies to boot." They sounded impressed. "Well at least someone loves me. This secret admirer got a name?" "All it has is CT, which is kind of odd, girl, but I don't think you can afford to turn this one down." "Oh no? And why not?" I was intrigued. "Haven't had a job come through with this many zeros in a while." "What, like a grand?" "Try ten." "Ten thousand eddies? What do they want me to do, take out some president of a corporation or some shit?" "That's just it, it's nothing that big. Just a missing person gig. Some rich girl was taken and they want you to get her back." "So this CT… they’re parents?" "No, parents and anyone else is gone. Left her well enough off. Seems someone cares enough to see her come home safe though." Den sounded curious. I heard shuffling and clicks. "I can't find anyone who would fit the bill, but Eddie's are there. Could be dangerous, girl. You going to do it?" "I mean, at this point I'm too curious to say no. Send me the deets and I'll head out. Keep me in mind in the future! Later Den!" I poked behind my ear and grabbed my stuff. The message popped up as I hit the streets, so I scrolled through as I grabbed a quick lunch. Parum Journal Entry Day 0: Mag and I won the smart house! Everything is being set up today for us to move in tomorrow. The Plasti'Plants people sent the movers over earlier to pack our things and take them over. Tonight we'll stay in a hotel and they'll pick us up in the morning. Plasti'Plants is going to pay for everything we need for the year so that we can really test this place out. It's supposed to have everything. Guys, I'm so excited! ~~~~~~~~~~ Okay, we're checked into the hotel now. After my last entry the day got pretty busy. They had us go down to headquarters to have our scans done and everything. We had new chips implanted that are already coded for the house and have our data uploaded to the house's systems. Apparently, it'll be able to make or order anything we need customized for us. I'm so happy that Mag stumbled across this opportunity. When we signed up I never thought we would win. It feels like it was meant to be. Okay! Time to go get dinner! Ya gurl’s craving tendies! ~~~~~~~~~~ Mag Journal Entry Day 0: I went to sign the papers at Plasti’Plants today. A free smart house with full security and fencing to keep us safe, in exchange for one year's worth of testing? Easy life here we come! I could just feel Janice from accounting's glare stab at me the entire time I went in to sign the papers. What can I say Janice? It sucks to suck and you snooze, you lose! Only odd thing was the list of free items that I saw on the list. There were obvious things like a couch, kitchen table, some food and drink, etc. But there was also a crib, changing table, a high chair, and a whole host of other baby stuff? Did they think that we had kids? Ah well, I'm sure it was nothing. And worse comes to worse we can probably just donate everything that we don't want to some kids shelter somewhere. ~~~~~~~~~~ Checking into the hotel, I noticed that they had given us the first neural chip for Parum to download in addition to the keys for the room. I also noted that for some reason, the beds had plastic over the mattresses. Maybe the people who had the room before us had bedwetting problems? Oh well, I had Parum install the first chip before we went downstairs for dinner. It was so cute how even after all this high society and luxury that they wanted chicken strips off the kids menu! Hi. [A small disclaimer] I'm an experienced hobbyist writer however I work a demanding professional job. I.e. I can quality posts as part of this RP but you might not get them everyday subject to time constraints. INSPIRATION:- I'm a fan of the manga / anime franchise 'Ghost in the Shell', amidst other cyberpunk media but the Oshii film always stands apart for me, not just because its superlatively animated for its time but the for the scene at the end. For anyone who isn't aware of the story the basic summary is that protagonist, a female cyborg cop who is investigating the case of a rouge 'sentient AI' eventually agrees to it's proposal to allow it to integrate with her mind. Her cyborg body is destroy after this merging but her brain is salvaged and ends up in the artificial body of a child. In the film this is a visual metaphor for the new life her union with the AI has created. As an ABDL I can't get but be fascinated by this technologically achieved physical regression. So, the above paragraph describes my interest but frankly i'm perfectly happy to be flexible in regards to what the story of this RP is. It by no means has to be a fanfic confining off from where Ghost in the Shell leaves off. Indeed I would be intrigued to hear your own ideas and thoughts. CONCEPT:- So keeping the description vague (we will discuss details), I propose this RP follows an tough female cyborg cop. Through the course of an investigation she finds her electronic brain trapped inside the body of an child. Depending on the tone this can be through benevolent means or malevolent means. I.e. it's either a procedure to save her life after injury to her adult body or its a form of torment/entrapment by the preps she's been investigating to pervert the course of justice. Trapped in a young child's body the protagonist might still try to finish her investigation whilst combating the challenges of her new body. These would include being generally treated as / mistaken for, a child by those un-privy to her situation. I also imagine her electronic brain would have difficulty integrating with a body it wasn't designed for resultant in decreased motor functionality and incontinence. Roles: I would like to play the protagonist and I'm looking for someone to fill the dominant role as either a care giving figure or an antagonist. This comes back to the situation which lands the protagonist in a child's body being either benevolent or malevolent. The dominant role could be a sympathetic nurse who agrees to help the protagonist whilst exercising a duty of care over her. Otherwise it could be her antagonist, the individual she was investigating having trapped her in a child's body rendering her effectively harmless. Thanks for reading.
