I've had my first shot two weeks ago (Pfizer) and will get my second shot 11 days from now. I live in the EU and unfortunately our country is shamefully behind in vaccinating compared to a lot of other countries. But on the bright side, according to the latest polls 87% of our population 16 and older either is already vaccinated or is planning to get their shots when it is their turn. It pains me to see that a lot of Americans won't get their shots even though they are readily available there, while other countries are literally and figuratively dying to get the vaccines. Our country was just opening up, but unfortunately they had to revert some of that because of a huge spike in infections mainly in younger people, most of them not (fully) vaccinated yet.
