  1. Jess woke just after sunrise. She'd hadn't been able to sleep past first light since she was in college. Just something about the sun on her face never failed to get her up. They'd hang the blackout curtains today hopefully. The house was quiet and Jess enjoyed the early morning calm. She got out of bed with her intent to go to the kitchen to fix a pot of coffee for Ivy and herself when her heart nearly stopped. Ellie's door was wide open, Avery's too. Coffee was a distant concern as adrenaline jolted Jess into action, she sprinted into Ellie's room only to find the bed empty. "Ellie?" Jess called out, briefly scanning the room before rushing into Avery's. As quickly as she'd escalated into fear it gave way to being awed by the sight of her two kids snuggling together in bed just like when they were little the first time around. Jess went back into the bedroom to get her phone and tip toed back across the hall, snapping a few pics before returning to the bedroom to nudge Ivy awake, "Honey, Hey hon, you've gotta come see this."
  2. "Don't worry about it. I'm not trying to guilt you. I only brought up it being busy because you'd know I was lying if I told you Friday with a man down was smooth sailing. You're an adult, I don't need to hide things from you." Claire let out another sigh of relief, "Good, I'm glad to hear that. Hopefully that means it was just an accident and not...something else." Claire didn't want to discuss maturosis, she knew littles really didn't like that, disagreeing with it as a concept and labeling it as a psuedoscience. Claire was sympathetic to that but...well, wasn't necessarily a doctor and couldn't disprove the entire body of medical literature on littles. Some of it was probably propaganda, most of it even, but if maturosis was 99% Amazon BS, there was that 1% there. "Have you been thinking of anything we can do to help you? I did some research over lunch but I want to know if you've got any ideas before I tell you what I found."
  3. "Yeah...definitely one like no other. It would probably be good to put together a list of all that we've figured out that they need before we take them out tomorrow. I had thought we could take the bus into town but the more I think about it, I'm thinking we'll need the car. I know you mentioned mats but what about changing tables? At least for Ellie? She'll probably need one longer than Avery? Though she probably won't like it much if she gets one and he doesn't" Jess trailed off, thinking out loud as her wife joined her in bed. "I'm still so amazed by all of this, I just..I love all three of you." Jess leaned over and kissed her wife before laying down for bed. * * * * * Ellie woke up with a shout, panting as she fought to catch her breath. The night terror had been more vivid than anything she'd experienced previously. She curled into a ball, clutching her knees and holding back tears. In her post-nightmare haze she was startled again by the new proportions of her body. Everything felt weird and different. She wasn't hurting anymore but she still felt weird. It had been a dream about school, starting it and walking into the classroom as a toddler and all of her old classmates being there, laughing at her and tormenting her. Ellie let out a few sniffles and wiped her eyes on the sleeve of her pajamas. Ellie lay in her new room in a strange house hundreds of miles from home and felt more vulnerable than she'd felt in years. It was impossible to get to back to sleep as it was. Ellie shimmied out of bed past the bed rail and fell to the floor but managed to land on her feet. What she was about to do was no more childish than the squishy diaper between her thighs but it stood a better chance at making her feel better. Ellie toddled out of her room and into Avery's, seeing him snoozing peacefully. It took some effort with her small size and a wet diaper, but Ellie managed to clamber up into her big brothers bed. After her nightmare, she didn't want to sleep alone tonight. Plus, if Avery had one she'd want to be there for him.
  4. Claire let out a relieved sigh when her friend opened the door. She'd been worried that in addition to Laura, one of the neighbors might have spied them coming in. She didn't see anyone at the time or else she wouldn't have left but there were few things trickier than an Amazon trying to nab a little. "Hey," she smiled and let herself in, "it was busy. Being short staffed wasn't easy. And you can bet Laura wants to 'check on you'," Claire air quoted for emphasis. "Don't worry, I made certain I wasn't followed here. Took a long way and everything. Any more, um...incidents, since I've been gone?"
  5. "One of us is checking on him, thanks." Claire tersely replied to Laura before clocking out for the day. She walked around the neighborhood a bit first, diverting from her promise to go straight home until she was certain that she wasn't being followed by Laura. Claire wouldn't put it past her in the slightest to clock out early and stalk her to Ravio's home so she could adopt him. She set out walking the opposite direction and, once she was certain she wasn't being followed, diverted back to Ravio's on the opposite side of the block from the bakery. It was a longer trip but she soon found herself outside Ravio's apartment and, giving one last quick look, quickly turned and ducked inside the entryway of the building. Claire ascended the flights to her friends unit before knocking on the door. "Hey Ravio? You in there? It's Claire."
  6. Jess brought Ellie to her room and laid the small girl on the towel once again, unzipping her sleeper and checking her diaper. Ellie whined as her mom's finger intruded between her leg and the waistband of the diaper, "shoosh" Jess calmly whispered. "Lets just get this wet thing off and get you tucked in." "I'm not wet yet..." Ellie sleepily mumbled, it only prompted a chuckle from her mother. Ellie quickly found herself in another diaper and with her pajamas zipped back up. Mommy picked her up and brought her over to her old twin bed. Jess went to the first night box and got Ellie's new bedding, covering her with the new blankie and nestling her unicorn in under her arm before covering her with her old sheets. "Did you want to try the pacifier in the box? It might help you sleep tonight?" Ellie shook her head. "OK then, we'll keep it there if you change your mind. Jess then got to work installing the bed rail and once it was done, leaned over and gave her daughter a kiss on the forehead before telling her "goodnight" and shutting off the light and leaving the door cracked just slightly. Jess then went to her and Ivy's bedroom and washed her face, removing the day's sparse makeup, before changing into some comfy clothes of her own.
  7. Jess mentally noted both Avery's spilling of the glass and the shaky, cautious way both kids tried to maneuver the large cutlery in their little hands. The list of items to get tomorrow just kept growing and growing but there really wasn't anything Jess could do about it. She hated the idea of spending so much money but with the Institute's signing bonus and her new salary, it didn't matter as much as it did a month ago. "Yes Momma," Ellie winced through the brain freeze. Momma bringing over the paper towels to clean up Avery's mess was followed by Mommy ripping off a few and putting some in Avery's lap and some in hers. It was only then that Ellie looked down and noticed a few decent sized drops of ice cream were in her lap. With the help of the moms, the two regressed teens were cleaned up and finished their ice cream dinner. "Alright kids, I think it's probably getting close to bed time" Jess picked up a yawning Ellie. "But mom..." Ellie whined as she suppressed her yawn. It was only a token resistance at best. Even though it was early still for her normal 'bed time' on a Friday night, Ellie was exhausted.
  8. "Hey Veronica, hello Laura." Claire said coming back into the bakery. "Ravio's is fine. I got him home OK and he's resting up." Claire gritted her teeth at Laura's statement, "Yeah, I'm sure we've all had to leave work early before after getting sick and come in when we shouldn't have. He left when he did and that's what matters." Claire headed back to the kitchen and threw herself back into her work, trying to retain her focus while trying to game plan out a strategy for helping Ravio. If the accidents could be contained, pads *might* work but they'd be risky. An accident like today and he'd over flow it in a minute. No, maybe for dribbles and drops but Ravi was having full on accidents in his pants. Absorbent underwear with a pad? It was better but still an extremely flawed idea. As much as she hated it Claire knew what the most sensible solution was but getting Ravi to trust her enough to even say the word around him without him freaking out was going to be a process.
  9. "OK..." Claire let out a frustrated but determined sigh, "OK. I understand why you didn't tell me." Claire turned the knob to change from bath to shower. "That just...it makes it harder to come up with a solution, but we will find one, OK? I'm not going to abandon you to deal with this on your own." Claire straightened up, having to slouch slightly in the littles bathroom. "Alright, I've got to get back to work. I'll think of something we can do. If we can keep you employed, we can keep you free." Of course there was a Laura shaped elephant but Claire wasn't going to focus on that right now. "I think it might be a good idea to stay off work for a bit, maybe just a few days until we figure something out. You and I are both off the schedule this weekend, we can figure something out. I'll be back in a few hours. Please, please, please do not unlock the door for anyone but me." Claire was doing her best to keep her emotions muted and present an 'in control' face because right now, with Ravio as emotional as he was, someone needed to take charge. Still, she knew as soon as she left the apartment she would fall to pieces. And she did, crying the entire walk back to the bakery.
  10. "I remember. I don't think she'd cry exactly like that this time but she probably would be sad to be at home without her big brother. I don't think anyone will mind if you and Ellie don't start right away. Let's see how you feel after the weekend." The school was one of the big selling points in coming here but it wouldn't be the end of the world if Ellie and Avery had a little bit of a mini vacation after all they'd been through. "Yeah, probably do. It won't be so bad though, we can pick them out tomorrow if we end up going shopping. Luckily you brought your own cushion to sit on so to speak," Jess gave him a pat on the bottom before sitting him down to accentuate the point. Jess grinned at her wife's joke and shook her head "Yeah, but back then we didn't need booster seats to last a few years. Avery should hit his growth spurt next year but I don't think Ellie wants to sit on a phone book for four year, do you sweetie?" Ellie felt a rush of gender euphoria at being called princess. It didn't get girlier than that in terms of pet names. Ellie started digging into her ice cream as soon as Mommy brought it over, devouring it ravenously, with each bite making her aware of how empty her stomach was after the process. An empty stomach made *those* kinds of diaper changes something she hoped she could avoid but eating to fast had dangers of it's own. "Brain freeze!" Ellie scrunched up her face from the unpleasant sensation.
  11. "I promise. I won't let them get you. Take my hand though." Claire and Ravio ducked out the back with Claire calling out to Veronica she was taking him home. The walk was nerve wracking and every Amazon's eyes were on Ravio. Claire held his hand tight in her grip though. Fortunately, etiquette and law both dictated you couldn't just steal someones little and as much as Ravio might hate it, sick was the lie that got them out the door but the lie that would get him home was if people believed he belonged to Claire. Fortunately, they made it home with the Amazon's only looking and no Laura in sight. Claire got Ravio up to the his floor and got him inside. She noticed the scent from yesterday, it was more pungent than before and Claire felt she knew exactly what it was. "We made it, you're safe for now. I can get a bath started for you if you want to go get yourself some new clothes. Period or not you may want to use those pads until we figure out what we can do about this. How long has this been going on for Ravio?"
  12. "Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey Ravio? Calm down, I know you're scared but you need to help sell this OK? Anyone can throw up on themselves, it's embarrassing sure but when I was younger and still went partying I threw up on myself a few times. I'll say I got sick last night too but not as bad." Claire tried to help Ravio off the toilet and saw that while her plan was...innovative, it wouldn't account for the went on the back and down the legs of Ravio's pants. Shit. We're just going to have quickly, she told herself. Her friend shook with fear and couldn't stop crying. She couldn't blame him, accidents were often the beginning of the end for free littles. They could come up with a solution today but they'd need something long term if this was maturosis after all. Claire took some tissue and dabbed the tears from Ravio's freckled cheeks. "Look, we need to hurry. This is going to be close but we have to get you out of here before Laura gets in."
  13. "You got it big guy," Jess hoisted Avery back onto her hip. "Well, I'm probably going to go in on Monday and meet the team I'll be working with. They're letting me work a bit of a half day schedule for the first week since we also need to get you both all set for school. Speaking of, we can go and enroll and Ellie anytime. If you want to go visit on Monday, Momma and I can fill out the paperwork. You'll probably be able to start this upcoming week if you want?" "Umm..." Ellie pondered, "I'll try the stairs. I don't feel as achy as I did when we got home." Right now Ellie felt more a lingering soreness than anything, exhaustion was setting in after a long day. For once Ellie looked forward to going to bed early on a Friday night. Downstairs, Jess sat Avery down at the table and realized quickly that booster seats needed to be added to the shopping list for tomorrow. She looked around for a solution, lap sitting was one but given they only had adult sized silverware that could get messy for her and Ivy. Feeding the kids would work but it was also an extremely infantile solution. Things were going well and she didn't want to spoil it by pushing too far. Thinking quickly, Jess found some small boxes of books and lugged them into the dining room, sitting them into the chairs for makeshift boosters for the kids.
  14. Claire came in and quickly shut and locked the door behind her. "Here," she held out the pitcher from the blender, "this is really going to suck but it will suck a lot less than an Adoption Center." Without giving him time to flinch or reject the help, Claire dumped the slurry onto Ravio's shirt and pants. "There we are, now, lets get a story straight. You got sick off the pizza yesterday and threw up today. We're taking you home. I'm going to come back and finish my shift but you need to stay at your place until I come back this afternoon. We'll keep you free, we just need to be smart about it."
  15. "Oh yeah? That makes sense. I don't think I'd like that very much either," Jess consoled him. "I don't think there are many people who don't live in this house who have any business seeing you without clothes on. Momma and I might need to help you out with the potty but we aren't going to be changing you out in public. You aren't actually a baby," even if you're as cute as one, Jess thought. Sometimes she did have to remind herself that her teenagers were only physically toddlers now. "That's the spirit!" Jess helped her boy up to his feet and then helped him get dressed back into his pajamas. "Hey Avery, real quick, before we go back down," Jess pulled her son into a tight hug and held him for a few moments before kissing him on the forehead. "I'm proud of you son." "Come on, you still want any ice cream? How we doing the stairs, hand or carry?" Ellie shrugged her shoulders. It helped to keep focused on the ceiling instead of what was between her legs. Though it did make her *very* aware of what was there as Momma cleaned her up. "Yes Momma," she replied to being told about changes. Though Ellie hoped against hope she'd be lucky enough to end up in at least training pants. So far she hadn't used her diaper for anything besides wetting and while she tried to out of sight, out of mind it since for the time being she had no control, *that* would be another story. "It's OK. It's not as awful as I thought. Our house is nice. I'd obviously prefer to still be a teenager but I don't hate this." Ellie confessed. The maturity of her reply undermined by the childish flurry of giggles as Momma poked her tummy, "Momma...stop! I'm ticklish there!"
  16. Claire could hear him start to whimper through the closed door. "What am I going to do?" She thought? Claire's leg bounced from anxiety and she put her head in her hands. She had to do something. All of Ravio's weirdness over the past few days made sense now. What if he had Maturosis? Claire teared up but forced her tears back down. Ravio was her only friend. She wasn't going to just step aside and let some baby crazy Amazon sweep in.and take him from her. Claire looked at her phone, 6 minutes till open. Veronica would be in the front of the house by now but fortunately she never came back into the kitchen. Laura wasn't here and if Dillon checked the cameras he would have already written her up about doctoring Ravio's time sheets. She had an idea. Probably a dumb idea but the only one she could think of. Claire pressed Dillon's name on her phone and the call began. Fortunately, it went right to voice mail. "Hey Dillon, it's Claire. Just giving you a call, Ravio is throwing up in the bathroom so I'm going to clock him out and make sure he gets home OK. He only lives 10 minutes away so I'll just make sure he gets there and come back. We're ahead on baking already. Talk to you later, bye." Claire rushed into the kitchen and put phase two of her plan into motion. Into a blender went some pizza dough, cheese, sauce, pineapples, and olives in with a lot of water. She pulsed it until it looked exactly like it needed to. Claire took the pitcher back to the bathroom door. It was still closed and she could still hear Ravio. "Hey Ravio? Open up really quick, I've got an idea.
  17. "I think Momma has the right idea." Jess said, looking down to both Avery and Ellie. Jess stood up and shifted Avery over to her hip. "I'll take Avery to his room and change him. Could you get Ellie, hon?" Jess and Ivy ascended the stairs, each with a regressed teenager in tow. Inside Avery's room Jess sat him down before realizing that not only did they not have a table for the kids but they didn't even have a mat yet. Given they were still renting for now, Jess was loathe to change diaper on the carpet, even if it was only wet. "Stay here buddy," Jess ruffled her sons hair before going to the bathroom and getting two towels, making a quick stop over to give one to Ivy. "Sorry about that Avery. Now, lets go ahead and get that diaper off and changed huh? Don't want to get a rash on your first night! Now, I know you're still almost an adult and this can't be easy for you. So I'm going to let you do as much as you can, OK? We'll work together. Do you want to try and untape that diaper for me and I'll get out your stuff?" Jess was grateful that wipes had been included in with the first night box. She gently wiped Avery's front down first before patting him on the thigh, "lift up please," so she could clean his bottom. Once she was satisfied, Jess slid the diaper under Avery's bottom. "Alright, back down please." Jess pulled the diaper between Avery's legs and taped it shut before running a finger around the leg holes to check the leak guards. "Just like riding a bike." She smiled to herself, she was two for two. As she helped Avery get dressed again, Jess asked, "So how are you doing? I know you've been acting brave and confident for Ellie but she's not here right now so if anything's wrong or feels weird or even if you just want to cuddle a bit, you can tell Mommy. * * * Ellie tried to help Ivy get her pajamas off but her toddler hands were a bit more clumsy than her teenager ones and she fumbled with the zipper until her Momma helped her get out of them. Ellie assumed the position on a towel. As Momma undid her diaper, she lay back and looked at the ceiling. This would probably be a pretty regular occurrence and while that would have horrified her a few hours earlier, it all seemed suddenly routine. Besides, it wasn't like she wanted to stay in a wet diaper?
  18. OK Ravio, we're almost..." Claire trailed off as she caught sight of her friend. Her eyes went wide and fear gripped her heart as it started beating rapidly. Her best friend was potty dancing in place with his hands blocking his crotch. "Go!" Claire yelled, thankful Veronica or Laura weren't here yet, "GO! GO! GO!" Claire rushed over and, with time being imparitive, threw away all caution and simply picked up Ravio from under his armpits, holding him up facing her. Her longer legs would make it a shorter trip to the bathroom. For her friends sake, she had to hurry. Claire bolted as quick as she could to the employee bathroom in the back of the kitchen and put Ravio directly on the seat with his pants still on. "You do what you need to, I'll stand guard. I'm going to think of something." She said quickly before slamming the door shut and sitting up against it to prevent anyone else from going in.
  19. "Don't worry too much about it Ravio, we work together most mornings, I just was thinking, you know, if I get sick or something, you know?" Claire and Ravio began their tasks for the day. Breads were always first and even though the sold just a bit more bread on Fridays, they sold a lot more sweets so they had the same time to do almost double the work in. Still, they were a team. A well oiled, baking machine. Once the breads were done Ravio was right where she needed him. Occasionally they'd yell out their position or check in with each other, updating the other on what step in which process they were in. No other team in the bakery could do as much as well and as quickly as Claire and Ravio. Claire worked herself especially hard on Friday's. Not only was it busier but it was busier and then Laura would come in and she'd have to devote half her attention to keeping Laura from harassing Ravio. Which meant today she was a frenzy, just getting as much as possible done before Laura would arrive. Normally she and Ravio took their breaks together and today Claire just worked right through hers without even noticing.
  20. "I'll say..." Jess remarked at how both children were fixated by the screen. "I didn't expect them to be so engaged with it. Maybe I should put these bowls back in the freezer?" Jess returned to the kitchen and stored the ice cream for easy retrieval later. Jess returned to the sofa and picked up Avery so she could sit him on her lap and sit beside her wife. "Yeah, I was thinking it was just some cheap Canadian cartoon. This is, well, it's not cheap." She guessed it made sense, the Clarke Institute invested a lot in talent and then the procedure for kids. It really didn't make sense to go to that effort and expense if they weren't going to make an effort to keep them happy. The cartoon focused on just enjoying being a kid again and saw the two "toddlers" engaging in imagination play and having fun while reassuring them what a great opportunity it all was. For a kids show, she was glad they didn't play the toilet humor up. She could tell by the end that both Naomi and Oliver were in major need of a diaper change. So was Avery, she thought bouncing an increasingly squishy bottomed little boy on her knee. "How was it?" Jess asked when the credits started rolling. For the first time in an hour, both kids looked away. "It was..." Ellie's head felt a little funny but she couldn't explain why. It was almost like all the anxiety of the day had melted away. If she had only known she'd spend the evening watching cartoons with her big brother, Momma, and Mommy then she wouldn't have cried nearly as much this morning! "I liked it. It was good I think. I like Naomi more." Ellie let out a little yawn. "Can we have ice cream now please?"
  21. "Oh hey Ravio, just start prepping what you can in the kitchen please, thank you!" Claire called as she helped unload the ingredients and supplies for the day. After about ten more minutes of work she joined her friend in the kitchen, "hey there, another morning shower?" Claire tried to break the ice before moving on to a topic she knew wouldn't be easy to discuss, "Ravio, just real quick, I'm your coworker and your friend. I wouldn't get you in trouble even if I had that power. But this is what, the third or fourth day in a row you've been a bit late? Don't think I'm scolding you or anything but is there anything I can do to help? I just don't want Dillon and Laura to catch on that I've been altering your punches. That be bad for both of us. I could bring breakfast in the morning for us so you don't have to scramble for something when you wake up?" "Anyway, like I said, I don't want to give you a hard time, it's just not like you. Anyway, I know your numbers so you got clocked in on time and we both know Dillon won't check the cameras. So, another day yeah? You got any plans for the weekend? Maybe we can have that board game thing?"
  22. "Most of it," Ellie confessed, she still wasn't sure about the bedrails or the pacifier. "I got a unicorn in with mine. Your puppy looks cute." Avery didn't seem as in to the stuffed animals as she did. Figures. He had actually outgrown them whereas she just looked on jealously at all the stuffed animals that never got used. "Yeah, why don't you three head on down to the couch and we can all get settled in for a movie night?" Jess asked Ivy and the kids. "I'll fix up some ice cream in the kitchen. I'll just have to find the bowls and silverware first so it's alright if you want to start without me. Ellie sweetie, why don't you go get that movie and bring it to Momma and then she can brush your hair out?" "Yes Mom," Ellie agreed before toddling off into her room to get the movie. Ellie hoped she wouldn't get too familiar walking in diapers. They forced her now smaller legs out just a bit throwing off her normal walk, causing her to affect a bit more of a waddle. Ellie handed the movie off to Ivy and took her Momma's hand as Ivy helped her and Avery both down the steps, one step at a time, both kids crinkling in unison as they descended. Jess couldn't get over how cute they both were. Ivy put the movie in and then joined the kids on the couch. Ellie clambered up as well and found herself sitting on Ivy's lap as her Momma attended to her hair. The cartoons entry began. The animation was bright and contemporary of an extremely high quality. Ellie hadn't heard of Naomi and Oliver before but whoever was making this didn't lack resources. There were some establishing shots, some of which she recognized as their town but there were other towns too. The shots were full of families having fun together. Finally it settled in on blue and white seaside cottage. On the next frame, they were inside. Going from the title and the characters on the box, presumably the eponymous Naomi and Oliver. Both were dressed like toddlers, with Oliver in a pair of blue overalls and Naomi in a short pink dress. Neither of their outfits hid their diapers. And yet, from their proportions it was clear these two were supposed to be adults? "Hi there, I'm Naomi," "And I'm Oliver!" "And if you're watching this, YAY! It's your first night living in a brand new community!" "Now, your mommy or daddy probably got a job at some super secret lab and dragged you all the way out here right? You're probably not going to have any fun at all!" "Don't worry Oliver! Thanks to the Big People and grownups in your life, you have the chance of a lifetime!" "A million dollars and a pet dragon?" Naomi giggled, "No silly, bring a kid again! We know a lot is going to be scary and different over the next few days. But don't worry! Just be like us and," Naomi's knees slightly bent and she shifted into a squatting stance, "Go with the flow!" Ellie couldn't look away and didn't even notice her diaper getting very warm.
  23. I'm so glad I've finally gotten to explore a question that I've had for a long time but haven't seen explored much. What are the effects of finding the diaper dimension on our dimension? What changes? What comes through? What if the Amazons wanted us to find them? What if they have plans for all of us? I started wanting to RP again to build a world where we explore these questions and in the past week I now have two prose stories I want to write centered in this world where slowly but surely, our world is becoming just a little bit more like theirs.

    But it's a coincidence, I'm sure!

  24. Claire left just before rush hour so the trip back was busy but not as crowded as it could be if she'd waited much longer. Another subway ride, another walk of a few blocks. Claire turned her key in the lock and closed the door behind her, alone again. It was calm and Claire did value her quiet and privacy as much as the next person but spending time with Ravio after work really made her realize what a monotonous routine she was stuck in. That routine played out the same way tonight as it did every night. Browse the internet, make dinner, shower, streaming, bed. Four a.m. the next morning arrived too soon. Claire woke up, brushed her teeth, got dressed, and got back on the train to be at work in time to let in another delivery. At least she had a day off tomorrow, even if she wasn't sure what she'd do with it. The Friday schedule was a bit different. Most of it was still the same but there was a heavier focus on cakes and sweets in the afternoon and the challah needed to be baked and ready to go as soon as possible since it would sell out so quickly. Claire turned her key in the lock, disabled the security system, and went around back to let the truck in. Just another normal, boring, uneventful day.
  25. Ellie nodded in reply to Avery's question, "I'm not sure if it's bigger than my old room or I'm just smaller. It's nice still. What about you?" Ellie asked her now also pajama clad brother. It occurred to Ellie that she had to do something she hadn't done in a while though when talking to Avery. Given both siblings trans identity, Ellie and Avery were around the same height despite being separated by three years. Now she had to crane her neck just a little bit to look up at her once again big sibling. "Hey, hon, we're in Avery's room!" Jess called out so Ivy could find them. "Avery, Ellie, how about it?" Jess asked in response to the question of brushing out the kids hair. Ellie averted her eyes and sheepishly looked down. "Umm...Mom, I you wouldn't mind..." Ellie's hair was always so prone to tangling and as she started growing her out before coming out, one of the first gender affirming things her parents did for her was help her brush her hair. It felt really nice and comforting then and she was hoping for a bit more of that right now." "Oh," Ellie spoke up, "yeah, there was a Blu-Ray in with my box, it looked like some kind of cartoon?"
