  1. I used a small piece of tube to hold the fold over in place. This one has an inner diameter of just 2mm and has the dental floss pass through it. Might that be too narrow?
  2. Thank you for your advice. I followed some examples which I had found here. I will probably do another one with a stronger bent. In terms of inward migration: The entire thing is about 15cm long. How would that fit into the bladder? Merry Christmas to you all!
  3. My first design. How does this look? it is based on a 18cf Catheter.
  4. What about running with a stent? I usually go running for 10+km. Would the movement cause irritation? Did anyone try that? Designing my own stent. I thought about using some plastic tubing to be tugged into a regular Cath. This is the tubing: 1m PFA Schlauch PTFE Teflon farblos ID x AD Ø 2 x 3mm transparent 260°C Meterware | VIELE GRÖSSEN 1-38mm | Hitze-beständig Kühlmittel Säure Lauge Alkohol Chemikalien 3D Drucker Lebensmittel-echt https://amzn.eu/d/gt5ntJD In terms of Cath I used max 18 Ch so far. There inner diameter is on more than 2-3mm. I thought about using the ones with 3mm outer diameter and 2mm inner. Your thoughts? thanks and greeting!
  5. If I only had the courage to try my self…… I‘d like to build my first stent - at least a start. I‘ve been searching around for the FEP tubing but that appears more difficult to find online (over here in Germany) than I expected. Maybe I go for Titan and a Cath to start with. Both seems to be easily available…… I had UTI‘s a few times when playing with Catheters even though I‘m always taking extreme care of cleanest. Looks like I‘m not as some who just slide an un disinfected stent into their bladder and get away with it. Last time I used a Cath I even had some bleeding after less than a day and without to much moving around. Maybe I‘m allergic on Latex? When using a Catheter I rarely come to a point that I barely feel it. It usually hurts a bit or I might get cramps. Any ideas or advice would be very much appreciated!
  6. What about that Memocath that was mentioned one page earlier? That would be a permanent solution that is save and can stay for years apparently. It just needs someone who can apply it…..
