My suspicion is that none of the sisters could ever 'bite off more than they could chew' in their chosen field of expertise or any field closely related. Love the story and as a almost 60 year computer professional love the Darlene 'revenge'.
One minor item the name Margaret is spelled in multiple ways in this chapter.

As a computer nerd for almost 60 years, I see that the two threads of you story have great similarities. Both sisters are trying to fix systems which are being held back by somebody's actions. And, hopefully, the results of the sister's investigations will be that both systems will start working again and that the people responsible for the problems the systems are having will be made to pay dearly.

Love the story and am looking forward to the continuation. You are doing an excellent job of making these people seem real.
One minor point. When people are talking about weight they don't say lbs, they say pounds. When talking about height they say things like five feet and five and three-quarters inches or you could write 5 feet and 5 3/4 inches. The single and double quote for feet and inches is fine if you are displaying his chart, but people don't talk in abbreviations.
You are not the only author who forgets this, but given that discussions of height and weight are sort of central to the tale, I thought I would mention this.

Love the story. It is a bit of a change from the normal DD stories. I really like that a male remains a male and is not converted to a female as too often happens in stories that otherwise rock.
I was wondering if John's eidetic memory could be used to backtrack his walk on the first day and help them locate the rogue portal.
Anyway just keep up the good work. This has become one of my favorites stories and I am looking forward to the next installment (soon, please, babies are not known for their patience).

Great story. One comment, in the beginning you had his height at 5'1". The average height for 10 year olds is 54.7 inches and since he stopped growing in the 4th grade, he might be the size of a 9 and 1/2 year old. Also, small 10 year olds could be as small as 50". Having him be smaller makes the availability of clothes with sesame street motifs much more likely. There are male adults who are 5'1", but rarely any who are 4'2" or even 4'6" for example.
I assume that his 'leaving the room restriction' will make him have an accident and be switched into pull-ups or something similar. Again, the smaller he is the easier it is to believe that he can fit into the largest pull-up or diaper.
Anyway, keep this one going.

I'm looking for any additional chapters of a story called "Bill". It is about a boy named Scotty who becomes the spokesperson for a company making diapers and AB stuff for big kids. I have chapters 1 to 39 and was hoping someone has subsequent chapters.
