"What the.....?" went through her mind, "Right, that's it, I'm done" She got up and followed him and went straight in to the family bathroom, grabbing him before he could get into one of the cubicles. She spun him round and gave his bottom a couple of smacks right in front of everyone, then grabbed his wrist and hauled him out of the bathroom. "What do you want me to be?" she said "Your mother or an ogre?"

She could see the annoyance on his face. "What is with him? I am being nice to him and he gets annoyed!" "I don't recall saying you were a brat. I don't want to put you in nappies and treat you like a baby, but i might have to, for your own good. Can't you see there is a difference? You are reading motives that just aren't there" (could you give me more detail on what confuses you about the other post and I will try to sort it)

"They are a "just in case"" she said "I mean I didn't know if you would behave, that act act your age, and not be the irresponsible little brat you can sometimes be. I don't mind you knowing about the nappies, it will help you focus. The threat is there but it is up to you what your future is. Back in nappies or not. Depends on you" She looked at him, trying to see inside his mind or at least read his mood.. (have you looked at the other thread yet?)

"So, what do you want to do after we finish?" She thought she should give him plenty of rope. He was definitely quieter than normal. She wasn't particularly worried...yet. After all, at the end of the day, she was his mother and still had the whip hand

"Off you pop then. don't be long and make sure you wash your hands afterwards" She thinks "What is with him? He's so...." she struggled to think of a word "....contrary, yes, contrary. Maybe it's his hormones and the waitress, or maybe he just needed to act his age.. good job, maybe, I've got the nappies and powder with me" (I actually posted something about throwing a toy at KIm in the other one. Maybe you could react to that and ignore the post(s) that confused you?)

"It's up to you. You can hold it, go to the toilet, or ask me to take you. I somehow think you won't want the last option after your recent experience. Imagine getting taken to the toilet at your age!" They arrive and the waitress she thinks ha has a thing for greeted them. She thinks "She's far too old for him anyway, she must be at least 17 and girls mature so much faster" (P.S. Have you given up on the other one, or can I do something to unstick it for you?)

Suppose he put her to the test. That would be how he might tell, It required courage, however, he had to see what would happen if he behaved badly, tested her. So he picked up a small toy car and threw it at her. not aiming high as he didn't want to injure her. It bounced off her thigh. He crossed his arms and stared at her.

"Just some "ladies" things" They went along to the chemist. She quickly got the items, paid, then looked at her watch. "OK, let's go to the sushi bar. My treat, just remember, you have to behave""

They arrived "OK, Mumm- er that is I have to pick up something from the chemist first. Do you want to come and then we can go to the Sushi bar, or do you want to look at your own stuff, and we can meet there in half an hour?"

"Ready? Good. Let's get in the car" As they drove to the centre, next to the edge of town, she was thinking. The drive took about 25 minutes as the traffic was heavy, so she had time. She wondered what he was thinking. she really was prepared to give him a chance, and she knew he liked sushi (she had an idea he had a crush on one of the waitresses). What he didn't know is that she had packed a nappy, powder and baby wipes in her bag "you can't be too careful" she didn't totally trust him yet.

She decided to be nice "I'm going to the shops. Once you've got your adult clothes and underwear back on, I think you should come with me. I'll treat you to lunch at the sushi bar"

She heard his mutterings behind her, but couldn't really make them out as she was walking away. She meant it, however. She beleived that she had found 9at last) a way to control him and make him behave, taking on responsibility. Why did all the men and boys she knew seem to find it so hard to take on responsibility? Anyway, had he learnt his lesson?

She made up her mind and went through to find him "OK, punishment over" She pushed him back and removed the nappy. "Right get dressed in your normal clothes, but i'm warning you, any sign of bad behaviour and you'll be spanked and put straight back into nappies" She left the room.

"Of course", she thought, as he walked away "He would say anything to get out of the situation" Had he learned his lesson? or the minute he was out of sight (and out of nappies?) go back to his old ways? She didn't know. She decided to let him go for now and not pursue him, to think about it. The whole point was to get him to grow up. Had he done it? She would give him half an hour then go and talk to him.

He was , of course, thinking about things he had learned about Kim IN THE PAST, either by hearsay or direct observation, and applying this (maybe inaccurately) to the present situation. He couldn't work out whether she got off in dominating him, or whether she wanted to be more of a "mummy". To him being happy to let him sit in a messy nappy might lead to the domination aspect, while changing him (even in public) pointed to the kind of thing a mother would do.

"Don't you remember the whole point of this?" she said "it was to punish you by embarrassing you" She added "maybe by putting you through this you will see how immature you have been, and finally grow up...or maybe you won't. Either way, it's a solution. Now run along, I am tired, I want a little rest and I can't have a baby under my feet"

"Well, I suppose you did try at least" she said "..but I have no choice for now to keep you in a nappy" She picked him up and laid him on the changing mat.proceeding to clean and powder him, then pinned him into a new nappy. She pulled some plastic pants on him "Right, run along. We can have another go at potty training later"

He thought and thought and started to put a few things together. Whenever an ex pupil or teacher turned up to show their new baby to ex colleagues and classmates, Kim was always at the front of the queue to fuss over the baby....but she could be quite overbearing to kids her own age, especially boys. She spoke down to them and seemed to enjoy embarrassing them. He had heard that when she went round to the homes of classmates, she often spent more time chatting with the respective mothers than with the classmate. He recalled coming home one day, and there, in the living room was Kim, sipping coffee and talking to his mother, and having far more adult type conversations with her than he would ever have. Further, he and his mother had got into a little dispute and Kim had said something like "Do as your mummy tells you" quite sharply. She had turned to his mother and added "naughty boys get their bots smacked, don't they?" He had blushed bright red. What was it with her? Did she love being a mother, or was it some kind of power trip? Was she old beyond her years? Did she yearn to simply be an adult and being his babysitter helped with that desire?

God! She was loving this! He looked away, then back " I don't know what to say" he said "On the one hand I want out of this nappy, on the other, you are the last person I want to change it, and definitely not where someone can see" There! He thought. That told her! Maybe she would take pity....

"Right, long enough!" She walked into the other room "OK, upsa daisy, let us see what you managed. no number 1 and 2 means more nappies, that was the deal, right?"

She sat through in the kitchen, sipping her coffee, taking her time. She wanted to be fair, after all, and give him enough time. She looked at her watch. Five or ten more minutes then she would go through and see what the results were. "How are you doing, little baby?" she shouted through "mummy will be through soon to see how her little boy did, sitting on his potty" She took another sip of coffee.

"Judge her?!" What on earth could that mean?...and for sure, the nappy was VERY uncomfortable. He could barely move in it without feeling really icky. Then he thought. Where do babies get changed? Changing tables and mats, and these were situated in their houses, weren't they?...but wait a minute there were stations set up in public places where that could happen as well! Surely not.....

When would she change him, and where? He was worried. He had to balance his great desire to at least have a clean nappy, compared with the potential embarrassment of who was changing it, and in front of whom. I mean she was talking like she was going to do it soon. In here, hopefully? Before they went out and everyone might see it. A boy, still in nappies, getting his nappy changed by someone not much older than him.

She went out. After a few minutes, came back with one hand behind her back. She took it out slowly, to reveal a baby's potty. She set it on the floor. Then she laid him down and removed his nappy, then picked him up and sat him on it "I will go and make myself a coffee. If you can do a number 1 AND number 2 by the time I get back, then potty training begins. If not, you'll be in nappies a bit longer" She turned and walked out.

"well, if you haven't, it won't be long, will it?" They continued walking, and in about 15 minutes, arrived home, without passing anyone that they knew. "go and be good in the livingroom and I will prepare something to eat. I'll change you and get you ready for bed afterwards."
