Charlotte sat on her bed. Wondering what lame bullshit excuse she could make up

Charlotte turned and looked at him. "Did you find your phone?" She had a feeling but she wasn't going to let on to anything.

"I don't think you did. But you're welcome to check!" Charlotte wasn't even thinking when she gave him permission to look around in her room.

Charlotte simply snuggled up to the cushion and watched what was put on. She seemed content with it.

"Guess we could give it a go. This is nothing compared to what we got back in Britain though"
