About Me
I have had a life-long wetting problem. As a child in the 1960s, I was a chronic bed-wetter with a latex rubber sheet covering my mattress. It was very embarrassing on laundry day when it was exposed for all to see. I was never made to wear diapers because of it, but one time, my father threatened to make me wear rubber pants. I remember sitting in the backseat of the family car listening to my parents talk about my nighttime problem. If that wasn't bad enough, I cringed when my Dad said plainly, "Maybe we should have him wear rubber pants." This sort of thing has a profound effect on a little boy's psyche!

The last thing I wanted as an 8-year-old boy was to be put back into them!
Sometimes my bladder can be overactive, and I have to deal with it the best I can. I have had too many embarrassing moments using disposable products, so I pretty much stick with good ol' fashioned cotton diapers and plastic vinyl pants when I must. Mostly at night, but sometimes during the day when I feel its necessary. I don't want, or like, to, but it is a necessary evil, as the old saying goes.
