  1. No doubt at all -- diapers for me. I agree with Freta that pull-ups are for those on their way out of diapers and I am very much back in them. And this time no one is going to persuade me to give them up!
  2. Whatever works for you is good; for myself I prefer wearing just my diapers in hot weather.
  3. Hi, Rabbit. it's a pretty safe bet that every one of us has experienced what you are going through. I wear cloth diapers and was so nervous when I first bought them that I bought prefolds (waaaaaay to small) rather than the flat Gerber diapers that do fit me rather nicely. One thing to remember is that when you finally get up the nerve to buy them when you get the first one on you it is going to feel absolutely fantastic.
  4. What a wonderful opportunity. I would SO love to do that!! To me being seen in my diapers just reaffirms that I still belong in them (I never said it was logical). And to have the chance to help people learn about -- and maybe even understand -- us a little better ... well life couldn't get much better. It would be service to all of us if someone could help the world realize that we aren't freaks, but mostly pretty nice people! I do have to admit that I just might lose my nerve at the last minute but it would fun to give it a try. quote name='Baby Bethany' date='Jul 2 2008, 11:46 AM' post='140436'] A few months back I mentioned in a post about people from alternative lifestyles being used as 'live art' in the middle of London's Trafalgar Square. I thought at the time that it was just a joke, but no, apparently it's happening. The situation is that in the middle of Trafalgar Square (one of our top tourist attractions) there is an empty plinth for a stature that was never built. The plinth is about 10ft high. The plan is to install a very large perspex box on top of it, with a different person (volunteer) in it each day. The people will be real members of the public, not actors and will come from some form of alternative lifestyle (no, I'm not volunteering). If it takes your fancy you can ask them a question about their lifestyle and they they will hopefully give you an honest answer. I don't know the details of the people taking part, at the moment. What do you guys think of this? Is it using people like us as a freak show for everyones entertainment, or do you think it will educate people and open their minds? Is it a form of art? Would you do it? The plinth is located outside of the National Gallery, so many of the people seeing it will be interested in art. The vast majority of people in the Square at any given time are tourists, with the odd person like myself walking past on the way to the office. What do you think? Beth
  5. OK -- i exaggerated a little bit -- but only because there was no answer to say that i "often" wear diapers in public and like to show them off. Being seen in public in my diapers somehow reaffirms to me that i belong in diapers.
  6. I don't think it is "goofy" at all and feel the same way as the others whop have replied. It is wonderful to wake up in the morning all snug and warm in freshly wet diapers and baby pants. I have been back in diapers for over 20 years now and have gone from feeling like I musy be the only one who feels this way to being amazed that here aren't more of us. Think about it: for the first three or so years of our lives our diapers are our most constant companion -- with us even when Mom and Dad are not, and wet most of the time. It is no wonder it is such a comforting feeling to be in diapers and only logical that they would feel best when wet. To paraphrase "Apocolypse Now", I love the smell of soggy diapers in the morning! Best wishes to all my diapered brethren and sistren, Mommy's Diaperboy
