  1. Ahh, so you've come to the crux of the matter. Frankly, that's not really something that's been mapped out at this point. Both parties are simply lumped into the 'transsexual' category, and typically those that do it because they just want to end up lying about it and saying they honestly believe they are....

I think that if people lie a little about why they want to transition it's mostly because of the SOC. I think that there is a certain amount of dishonesty in the way a lot of people talk to their mental health providers out of fear of being rejected for treatment. I know that when I started going to mt counceller my biggest fear was the she would think that I wasn't "trans enough" to qualify. I never lied to her about anything but I can definitely see why people might. Also, I think that a lot of the community feels that if you don't have the most generic and stereotypical story that you're just a wannabe. Another reason that someone might be inclined to stretch the truth a little.

Either way though, it really doesn't matter too much. I personally don't consider myself on the same terms more transsexual people consider themselves. As I don't think that what I'm doing is entirely about 'believing i'm the opposite sex', but rather a culmination of many contributing factors both inherent and environmental. I also don't consider my personal transition about 'becoming a girl', so much as I consider it 'expanding my boundaries of personal expression and comfort'.
    Beautifully said, WallaWalla.

I think that regardless of someone's reason for transition what it comes down to is expanding your boundaries of personal expression and comfort. Why we are trans, who knows. It's something that's different for everyone, i guess. But, the ultimate decision to transition is driven by the desire to be able to express yourself in your chosen gender role. In a role you would be more comfortable in. I don't think that there's any significant difference between those who wish to transition and those who feel a need to transition. The core motivation is essentially the same.

  2. I've gotten pretty used to buying diapers and I'm not really embarrassed buying anymore. I just march into Wal-mart and buy them whenever i need them. The first few times I bought were really embarrassing. I felt like I would have a heart attack ^_^.

The only time that anyone has said anything about them is one time in Wal-mart i was buying a pack of Depend and the store was really packed. I had to wait in line for about ten minutes with just my pack of diapers. When i finally got to the counter an older lady in front of me was picking up her bags and noticed that that was all I had. She said something like "oh honey, you had to wait all that time just to get your diapers". I just smiled and said "yeah" then commented about how the store was really busy that day. She was just being nice and I wasn't embarrassed about it. I smiled about that all day because she had said "your diapers" not "those diapers" or just "diapers". As if to say the diapers were mine and for me. She said it so casually, like it was nothing unusual. It really made my day. If that had happened when I first started buying them, though, I probably would have fainted dead right there in the store ^_^.

  3. It is indeed sad that you feel the need to resort to this sort of language for lack of anything constructive.

I would be happy to discuss the point I made with anyone who has in interest in constructive debate.

But there is little point in discussing anything with those whose minds are so closed they can only try to be offensive.

You can be so open minded in relation to your fettish yet closed to anything else.

Does that make you any better than those who call AB/DLs perverts?

I sorry, but I felt that your posts were so ridiculous that they hardly justified any sort of reasonable response. My intention was not merely to be offensive, I was simply stating that you seem to be a bit out of touch with reality. You can hardly make statements like every clinical psychologist is a psychopathic charlatan or that parents only take their children to psychologists so they have an excuse for spending their cash and time on "booze" and expect to be taken very seriously.

You'll find I'm a very open minded person and if you can prove any of your viewpoints to me then I'll gladly eat my words. I encourage any form of reasonable discussion or debate. You've made some pretty outrageous claims so far and have said little to back up your point of view.

  4. I live in Bristol, VA. The TN side of town (the city sits right on the state line) is home to the Bristol motor speedway and there was a race there this weekend. So, to all the NASCAR fans... curse you. J/k, of course ^_^. But seriously, we had to drive by the track on friday and the traffic was just insane. I really don't see what the attraction is but I think about twice as many people come to the race as live in the city.

  5. Cats or Dogs? I like both but I'm really more of a cat person.

Bike or Car? Neither, if I could walk everywhere I needed to go. But, i guess I'd have to say car.

City or Countryside? Although I've been a country girl most of my life I think I'm city life really suits me better

Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter? I think autumn is my favorite. It's a really nice spring day here though, and I have to say I'm really enjoying it.

Cookies or Candies? This is really a tough one. I love them both but I'd have to say candies. Especially if it's black licorice ^_^.

Butter or Margarine? Ugh, i absolutely hate margarine and will never eat it. I like butter but I try not to eat a lot of dairy products.

TV or CD? CD, definitely. I don't watch TV.

Shower or Bath? One of my favorite things in the world is a nice, long, really hot, bubbly bath ^_^. I'll only take a shower if I'm in a hurry.

Disposable or Cloth? Disposable. I just like the look and feel of disposables better, i guess.

Chatrooms or Forums? I like forums better. I like to have a little time to think about what I'm going to say before I post something (though I still end up sticking my foot in my mouth from time to time ^_^).

  6. I can only repeat the point I made to loopy, Since you are apparently already aware of the negative nature of Christianity, would putting any trust in psychology be anything less than jumping from the frying pan into the fire?

I will add that clinical psychology is not based upon science.

Psychology is an attempt to apply scientific principals to understanding individual behaviour within a group.

Clinical psychology is little more than smart rhetoric and confidence trickery for the gullible neurotic.

Can you really justify diagnosing a disobedient 10, 11, 12 or 13 year old as ODD? (Obedience Deficit Disorder)

Or a 2 year old as bipolar?

Or lables such as SAD, MAD, FAG?

That is child abuse. Clinical psychologists peddle expensive flashy sounding supposed illnesses to parents who need an excuse for spending their cash and time on booze instead of being parents.

I'm really not sure what world you're living in but it's obviously not the same one that the rest of us inhabit.

  7. Incont Vs Dl

    Heaven or Hell

    Let's Rock!

    lol ^_^

Serously though, I don't think any of the incont people here are going to have much of a problem with people who are diapered by choice. Outside of boards like this I'm not too sure that you'd get a very positive response.

  8. Psychology is utter bunk and every practising clinical psychologist, without exception, is a psychopathic charlatan.

:screwy: So you choose to believe in something that truly is utter bunk and disbelieve something based on science and logic. *facepalm*

LOL, you're not a scientologist or something are you? :roflmao:

  9. ^ I have a couple times with mixed results. When it woked it worked well but more times than not it didn't come out quite right.

<Hungry. Waiting for some food that's in the oven.

v Have you ever eaten something really really spicy on a dare?

  10. I never considered a mini dress, that actually seems to be the best way to play it that I can think of now that you mention....

Tee hee, I never really thought of that either. That really does seem to be the way to go though ^_^.

  11. Well most clothes just kinda do that unless you're wearing something especially long, it's exacerbated even more if you're the least bit tall. It's not that I dress unreasonably, it's that the vast majority of clothes are MADE unreasonably. Yeah, I figure goodnights are easy to cover up, but that's not exactly what I'm referring to here...

Regardless of whether anybody says anything or not upon seeing them either, chances are they're going to have some sort of internal reaction, as it's not something that you see too often even if you're looking. I mean surely people keep it on the "down low" even if they HAVE to wear them, I'm just curious about how. I mean what do you wear? Most skirts show an outline and do nothing to dampen noise, most pants that will fit you in the waist are going to fit pretty close to the body, and 90% of shirts and blouses are cut in such a way that if you're reaching for a high shelf or something, it's gonna show a little skin, even if you're dressed business casual in a lot of cases.

Yeah, I can really realte to this. I'm about 6' (182cm) tall. So, I'm a bit on the upper end for a girl and most shirts will show a bit of belly if i raise my arms up too far. If i'm out and diapered i'm constantly pulling down the back of my shirt ^_^.
