Anyone? Anything to do? One night

The next time they do the test they will put me out. Then wake me.

They tried to do the test today where they put a tube up inside me and fill my bladder with water. I could not take the pain. They gave me a topical but I could not handle it. I will try it again but there will be an anesthesiologist to put me out before hand. So now I am just uncomfortable. Not a great day Jill

Rash is clearing up. Still using externall catheter. It is helping. Nervous about the test Tuesday. My potassium levels are fine. I was cramping because I was not drinking enough water. Going to a hockey game tonight so this will be interesting. I like the diapers better. Don't feel as secure with the catheter. I got aloft of exercise so that's not it. I honestly don't know how I feel about Tuesday. Part of me wants to know that there is a reason for this. The other part of me doesn't want a problem at all!,( more because of health). I have been in diapers and such for 7 weeks and am getting used to the process. I don't know however if this is something I want forever. Has anyone actually gone through this entire process only to find out that they are 100 percent fine physically? And if so what happens next? Please don't speculate. Jill PS. I am a very positive and social person so either way I will not let this change my life at all. The summer at the beach will be a challenge. But my plan is to use an externall catheter and tuck it between my legs behind me with a tight cotton panty to keep it in place.

Latest Rash is so bad I have resorted to using an external catheter. I am very careful down there, but I guess I have to be more careful. I have been trying different rash creams but I have not found the one I like. So far it's Dr smiths. But I am open to any suggestion. Desiton and the commercial brands do not help me. Jill

So after about 3 weeks of total urinary incontinence I have gotten used to the whole process. I shower more. I go through 4-5 diapers a day. I always have a bag with supplies. What I guess I am trying to say is it has not changed my life that much. I won't let it. I actually feel ok knowing that I am basically healthy except got the incontinence. I choose to think of myself as very lucky that this is my only problem. It's all how you look at it. I do not want any surgeries that could affect me in other ways Jill

Yes it is the test where they test capacity. He has no idea what's going on

Latest Saw another urologist. He does not think it is neurological. Still have the test where they test the bladder. Jill

Latest update: Saw many more Drs. The consensus seems to be neurological. There for I have an appointment with a neurologist who specializes in Urology. I am going through 3 or 4 diapers a day. It's crazy. So important to stay hydrated due to diaper rash. So I drink a lot and wet a lot all with no control. I wonder what the neurologist will say. Seems like I will be wearing 24/7 for the foreseeable future. I would love any input as to what the neurologist will look for? Keep you all posted Jill

Hey all. Update Still going thru a lot of tests. Had an ultrasound. Blood work. Waiting for results. Dill you may be onto something. The Dr. Suggested it could be related to my back and nerve damage to my lower back particularly. Still have more tests but the process is ongoing. I have been in diapers for ten days and it looks like I will be for the immediate future. Wearing theMolicare super plus during the day and the Confidry 24/7 at night. When I know I will not be able to change for awhile I wear the Confidry with a booster. So far so god. Thanks to everyone for your input and support Jill

Went to the Uroligist today. The good news Prostate is clear No UTI Going to a radiologist tomorrow to get a test on my spine and lumbar region And the Test where the tube goes inside( my biggest fear) It was quite humiliating as I was wet and they had me change my diaper and took it. Then I had to put another on and get into a hospital gown while they took an ultrasound. Before the Dr came in I wet again and he was feeling it to see how wet it was. Anyway that was my day

Home safe and sound. I am not drinking enough. Cramped up last night (calf). I have to hydrate more but am hesitant. Dr. Appointment soon. Interested to see what they say. I totally freaked out about anything going up there so it will be pretty nerve racking. I can't belive I will be in a diaper going to the urologist. Humiliated

Got through TSA. No problem. Changed in one of the family rooms. Went through dry. Soon as went through I went. At least it happened after

Ok, today's,update. Been wearing the Confidry 24/7 since 8:00 am. Now it is just a lot of little dribbls which I barely if at all feel anymore. Imhave to get on a plane in a few hours so I am waiting until the last moment before I go through TSA. I want to change my diaper right before I go through.

Still in them. Just wow!
