I need to find that sweet spot of fluid that will increase my wetting at night but not make me wake up!  I’ve made decent progress with wetting, but it’s pretty light. I’m not sure if it will get heavier as I go deeper into the rabbit hole or if this is what it’s going to be. Ultimately I’d love for what winds up in the diaper when I wake up and have to pee to be already there when I wake up and I’m empty. I guess we’ll see as time moves on over the next few months.

Even though I pee heavily in my sleep I don't always wake with an empty bladder. I just release it as I wake.

I'm having the urge to pee every 10 minutes and going straight away without doing the clench reflex. I'm only releasing small gushes when I go with some after dribble. repeat this every 10 minutes if I drink water continually during the day.. My bladder is defiantly over sensitive now. When I pee I feel like my bladder isnt irritated but after 2/3 minutes my bladder feel irritated and wants me to pee, but I have nothing to pee.

I let my pre flow without trying to hold it

I have said before , I would love to be able to not wear diapers to bed, and just let it flow in bed, but I wear my diapers so I can pee when I sleep, and sometimes I wake up when I start to pee and just let it flow in my diaper. But I do sooo much Love to lay on my back in bed and be naked and pee on myself and the bed, and I Love the pee smells in all of it's forms from fresh to days old. I wish my wife loved the pee smells etc like I do.

I love the smell of bedwetting I always have

I want to become double incontinent. For over 20 years now I have struggled with this intense desire to become incontinent. Binge and purge cycles. I'm nearly 40 and I want to live my life as an incontinent person, Even if I don't become incontinent from wearing nappies I'm going to continue wearing 24/7 as this really improves my mental health and wellbeing and I love nappies so much.

I'm in a good place where I am and already wear openly here, plus I'm on antipsychotic injection and in a group home. I don't need an excuse to become IC anymore. I want bowel IC so I decided when I need a BM I'm just going to go without clenching my sphincter muscles. I already have urge IC and I think post void dribble from years of wearing.I had a small BM this evening infront of a group home resident and he didn't say anything, It was very easy having the BM and just slipped without any clench relax, only the stairs it clenched.. I then went and changed. From now I'm on both 24/7

All my group home residents and staff know I have ''IC'' issues and wear nappies, it's kinda hard to hide when you sharing a house with other people. When on a purge and not wearing I already have to find toilets very often to relieve myself. I do have a small bladder, and when I've got the shits I 'need to go' straight away. I won't leave the house when I have the shits. My mental health community nurse has already wrote it on their NHS computer systems I have 'toileting problems'.

    So from now I'm I'm 24/7.

My medical records state I am incontinent and enuretic and in receipt of pads and slips via the NHS supply chain

There is nothing nicer then laying down on your back and feeling the worm pee dribble down in the seat/back of your nappy. It took me years but now I can wet in any position. I sleep on my side and can easily wet in that position too but because its only dribbling and gushes my nappy never get oversaturated and it can handle the wettings. I wake up multiple times a night and wet straight away then go back to sleep. My bladder is rather sensitive now so will wake up when there is a little urine in there.

Unfortunately I'm not a bedwetter yet but I do uncontrollable wet when I've a quite a few beers, my nappy is always wet in the morning in that case and I can't remember wetting but have a full nappy.

I love being a nightly bedwetter.

To help with achieving stress incontinence, I don't want to automatically clench when coughing. I'm very good at remaining unclenched and wetting at the slightest urge in any position. Do you think if you can manage to not clench and actually wet when coughing will this help with incontience training?

I always wet my nappy when coughing or sneezing

After being diapered off and on basically my entire life and missing the days where I'd frequently wet the bed when I was a kid, I decided to just start wearing and using premium diapers 24-7 in December 2023.

I also recently started following the 12 month diaper training guide that gets mentioned here quite often and now in April 2024 I'm proud to say that I'm wetting frequently with strong sudden urges but not much comes out and also dribbling involuntarily post void. I also woke up to a wet bed last night without remembering peeing for the first time in many years and I couldn't be more proud of myself. This stage seemed to come recently and out of nowhere for me after only feeling like I needed to pee sooner than before and that was it for a long time. I'd wake up needing to pee, frustrated that my body woke itself up to do so, peed myself then went back to sleep. This is finally starting to change.

So don't get discouraged or frustrated if you're trying to accomplish the same thing I have. Be patient, stay hydrated and wet yourself no matter what as soon as you feel the urge to pee. You have to act like you don't have any choice. It's a mental barrier that you must break because we were trained at a very young age that it's not okay to pee yourself. Tell yourself that it is okay even if you think you might leak.

I'm Looking forward to continuing down this path and I'm looking forward to the point of no return. To those that think that it isn't possible to make yourself incontinent, my nose and sheets are saying otherwise right now...

Congratulations on the wet bed. Keep it up and enjoy the journey. I have been in nappies and incontinent for over 11 years. I have no regrets. I love my nightly bedwetting.

    Hey @diaperdl actually, yes!

First off, sorry for the long time between posts, it's been almost a year! Still going strong with the untraining at night. A few things have happened.

    - I have had several nights since the new year where I have had dreams of just randomly wetting my self, only to wake up to a wet diaper! (and a few times a wet bed). This seems to be VERY inconsistent and if I think about the dreams before going to bed it's almost a guarantee that it will not happen.

-If I do wake up at night dry, or needing to go. I just empty into the diaper. This happens much quicker than when I first started "untraining".

    - I don't think I posted this in pervious updates, but something that has helped speed up the "process" is whenever I'm home and need to pee, I would instead of going to the toilet I would just strip down, get in bed then pee in the bed. For a few days sitting up once that was easy, then lying down. No diapers. No underpants. Just strip down naked and I guess as my username suggests soak the sheets first on my back, then got use to doing it on my sides (both sides). Didn't bother laying on my front as that's not something I do when sleeping. My mattress is completely covered with a plastic covering (and I have 3 extra mattress covers) so this wasn't a big deal other than the time it takes to do it and time to clean it up. I obviously started doing quiet a bit more laundry but this really drove home the point consciously that a bed is just as good as a toilet. After about 3 weeks of doing this, I started introducing diapers into the same routine. Would start to fill the diapers which obviously (when they do their job well) cut down on the clean up after.

-I have completely stopped carrying who knows about my bed wetting. At first I tried to hide everything when friends came over, but one of them discovered it last year and I was just like, it's a medical problem I've been working on (technically not a lie 🤣) and played it off as no big deal, so did they. Now I just leave my supplies in the closet and when people come over I don't really think about it anymore.

My original goal was to be a complete bed wetting within 12 months (December of last year). So I didn't meet that goal, but that's okay. I'm still going strong and especially since the new year am very happy with the continued progress I've made. I am now hoping to continue to get increased wettings and remaining asleep when wet.

I have thought about just soaking my sheets with water before going to bed to get used to the wet sensation so my body hopefully wouldn't even notice any longer if I had wet or dry, however the one time I tried this it was very unpleasant (obviously) and would probably take the most getting used to of anything I've done this far.

I'll be back to update more frequently. I promise it will be less than a year until I post again!

    I don't hide the fact I am a bedwetter.

Yes, in calling me “lazy”, “big baby”, “disgusting” mom clearly sensed I didn’t care or worse.  And it was more than not caring.  Part of me actually enjoyed bed wetting to the point of sometimes on purpose.

I was just the same. In the end My folks just gave up trying to get me dry.

Scolding, spanking, diapers - bedwetting was a big deal in my early years.  Hard to imagine growing up without it.

Same here, It defined me all through my childhood and teenage years. It didn't help I guess that I just didn't care. I wet the bed so What!

Yes, but it’s different for you.  Your bedwetting is the result of a medical issue.  You can’t help it.  Nobody can or at least should judge you for a medical problem.  None of that is true for me.  Whatever … it’s a beautiful day, I wet in my sleep last night!

If you wet in your sleep you can't help it either. I hate secrets they are way to hard to keep. When I was younger everyone knew I wet the bed growing up. My sister and the mothers mafia made sure of that . When my bedwetting came back my wife told our close friends and relatives. I had to tell a close friend a few years back when we travelled the four corners together as we shared a room. He wasn't the slightest bit phased. His reaction was simply "Well you always pissed your bed every night when we were teenagers it wouldn't have surprised me if you always have."

Also fairly new to bedwetting, about three months in to the journey. Not reliable every night, but I’m now at a place where if I drink(adult beverage ) before bed I simply know I will wake with a wet diaper.

Good whiskey ensures I wet the bed

Same was with John's brother and also another friend of mines brother Richard. By the end of the day both would have very wet pants and it never seemed to bother or embarrass them. It made my friend Martin so mad that Richard went around in wet pants. He would tell him to go home and go pee but Richard would tell him he didn't need to pee and kept playing. By the time it was time to go home Richard's crotch was soaked and we could see the wet streak running down his pant legs.

I never cared if I wet my self.

Yes, knowing how much bedwetting means to me she supports and encourages it but can’t relate.

My wife knows I am very much DL now and says where is the harm if it helps you cope.
