  1. Thanks, I worked hard on it. But if I don't get any interest or replies to my questions, I won't be able to do it. If I can go forward with it, I will. But I wanna check to see if it'll work out because it'll be boring with only 1 other player.
  2. Hi Daily Diapers, I am making this thread to see if anyone would be interested in doing an ABDL rp set in an orphanage. I was reading through some of the old orphanage rps on Gaia Online and they were so fun and entertaining, I really, really loved them! I thought it would be cool if we could do an ABDL one here, where all the kids from the ages of 0 to 17 are treated like babies (for the same or different reasons). I am hoping for characters who are different races, like werewolves, vampires, nekos, elves, fairies, half breeds, original races, humans with powers etc. A good dose of magic and fantasy. Along with realism. I want people to be creative with backstories and character design. And with their posts. You can google images of toys, clothes, diapers etc to use in your replies to make it more fun and interactive. I do this myself. We can also use themes for each room, so every child has their own unique room. For instance, one room might be Teddy Bears decor and another could be Princess or Nautical or Enchanted Forest...etc. Picking a theme that matches your character's personality and interests. The general idea is that other role players can make caregiver characters and write them as visiting the role play to adopt a child and take into a family role play thread that they make. Children who are adopted can always come back and visit their friends who live at the orphanage though. If you prefer not to be adopted, your child characters can also stay living at the orphanage and call it home. You can adopt more than one child, as well. I made a map of the orphanage already and I'm happy to share plot ideas that I have jotted down so far. And to brainstorm with others to make it a great story. It'd be an open rp, but with limited spots so it doesn't get overcrowded. We'd need a good number of carergivers before we can start (to make sure no one is neglected), and I'm hoping to have a ratio of 1 carer for every 2 children. If you decide to join, it's ideal if you play both a caregiver AND a little. If we only get a few players, I'll ask people to play multiple characters or at least double. The orphanage I made has 23 bedrooms and I worked out that we could probably have a max of 6-7 caregivers and 14 children. I honestly don't expect to get that many rpers though. 2 - 4 players or even 4-6 players would be very good. If I can't find enough role players, I can always write carers and orphans who are NPCs to pad things out and make it feel fuller and more active. I myself am good at playing caregivers as well as Littles, so I will be playing both. Probably the orphanage owner who runs the place, along with another caregiver to help tend more children. I'll also play one or two kids of my own. I haven't decided on a setting for the story yet, as I want to work out what setting people like best before I make it. But I have some ideas. I was thinking that we could pick a phrase or a word to respond to in rp with our characters. Once we've all responded to the prompt, we can pick a different one to explore. For instance, if I said the word 'accident', people could write their characters having different kinds of accidents and what results from them. Once everyone explored that theme, we choose another word or sentence such as 'nightmare' or 'favourite' or 'phase'. You get the idea. I'm also open to brainstorming an overarching plot for the orphanage and our characters as a whole. I love seeing what people come up with and how they might think of something I'd never thought of. If you're interested, post here in this thread to let me know. You can also PM me. Here are the pictures of the orphanage map I designed. Each room will have a proper text description to go along with it. I forgot to add that we also have a lot more in our backyard than just grass. Outdoors - big backyard with playgrounds, open lawn, swimming pool, hopscotch, bounce house, trampoline, meandering paths, washing lines, flower garden, fruit n veg gardens, treehouse fort, trees and bushes, wishing well, fountain, miniature hedge maze
  3. ((Well, I can’t help if you don’t answer my questions)) She looked at the toy he had chosen “If that’s the one you want” Lily said with a smile. She lifted him back into her arms, hefting him up on her hip. His puffy padding crinkled under his blue onesie. “You had better take good care of your new friend. I think there are not many more of him around” she told the boy, seeing it was a vintage toy that was no longer manufactured. Samuel was holding the hippo in one arm and the baby bottle of juice in the other. She was glad to see him drinking it, not wanting him to feel weak or get a headache after the blood draw. “Well, what should we do now? How about we go and show your hippo pal your new nursery. Since you haven’t even seen it yet. It’s decorated like a fire station, just how you wanted” she reminded him. “It would be fun to pretend to be a fireman. After you kids play with your new toys, we’ll go and have dinner and then a bubble bath” She carried Samuel out of the nurses’ station and headed towards the place where all the bedrooms were. Once they got to his room, she slowly nudged open the door, letting the room be revealed. Lily walked in and bent over, placing Samuel down on the carpet. “Well, go on; have a look around!” she ushered him with a smile, waiting to see his reaction and watch him explore the nursery. The bubble with the blue rose inside followed him like a faithful sprite. "This is where you're going to sleep tonight" She would have to go get his new baby clothes from the playroom they'd been in before so they could put them away in his closet and dresser. Castile would grab Aurora's too. ============= “Yes. Here’s your baba. Drink up, baby girl” Castile said, placing the bottle in her hand, encouraging her to drink. “So, what game were you playing? Was it fun?” he asked her as he carried her away from the nurses’ station. “You were giggling so it must have been alright. I like games, too. Playing with you kids is fun for me” he said with a smile. Castile recalled entertaining his own children in the past, how much he enjoyed watching them be happy and seeing their imaginations go wild. Castile let Aurora pick out a toy, seeing her grab something. He began to follow behind Lily, though he turned down a different hallway, heading to Aurora’s room. He peeked in all the doors until he found the one he thought was hers. It had her name in painted wooden letters on the front of the door. “Aurora. This must be it. Your very own nursery. Are you ready to see your brand new room?” he asked the little girl, wondering just how it looked in real life. Castile pushed the door open with his front cat paw, his human arms busy holding the girl while she drank and held onto her toy. He strode into the middle of the room and slowly turned around in a wide circle so Aurora could take in the entire view. “Wowww, look at this! Here, kiddo, get down and explore” he said, placing her feet on the carpet. “You’ve got new clothes in the closet, a changing table, lots of diapers…we’ll need plenty of those” he chuckled to himself. A crib, soft pink walls, a fluffy rug for the floor, bedding adorned with hearts and stars, a rocking chair and a comfy changing table along with some princess decorations made up her room. "Hey, what new toy did you get? Want to show me?" he asked her, looking at the box she had taken from the storage room 11 cart.
  4. ((Is there anything you guys want the nurses to discover about your characters, like health conditions, allergies etc? If so, just let me know and I will have the nurses pass the information to the nannies. You can google conditions if you want. And do you want me to pick out a cool power for the blue rose? It might give Samuel a magical ability or super power. Anything you want. Also what flavour of oral hydration drink would Sammy and Aurora prefer?)) "Thank you. Was that a fun game? I hope you enjoyed playing" Darla told Samuel, taking the VR set and putting it back on the shelf. "You were such a good patient, you made my job super easy" she told him with a small laugh. "Yes, you are all done, Sweetie. You can go. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day" the small, pink haired lady told him, her green eyes sparkling behind her half moon glasses. "And if you ever fall sick or get hurt, I will always be here to make you all better. Remember that. We're here to make sure all the kids are happy and healthy. Just like mommies who heal booboos and kiss owwies" Lily listened to Darla and smiled. "Thank you so much, Ms Darla. You were great. I'm sure Sammy would be comfortable seeing you again". Lily liked her. She was a very caring and upbeat kind of person. She was calm and had lots of experience. The frog girl looked down at Samuel, feeling him hug her, and returned the hug with a soft, loving squeeze, twisting from side to side a little, rocking him in her arms playfully "Yaaay! All done! Fantastic! Now let's go and get your reward. There's a special cart with expensive and rare new and vintage toys that comes from storage room 11. Kids at Balverk manor earn them after every medical procedure and you definitely earned yours, Mister Cutie Pie!" she said, booping the whale on the chest of Samuel's onesie. Lily scooped him up in her grasp as she stood, taking hold of his hand to bring it closer to have a look at the bandaid "Oh look, you got a sticky plaster with Mickey Mouse on it! Isn't that neat?" she said, and began to leave the room. Just as she got to the door with him, Darla came over, holding a disposable baby bottle filled with coloured liquid. "Wait, I forgot to give you this! It's an oral rehydration solution. It's important for kids to stay hydrated after the procedure, so please get him to drink this" she said, putting it in Lily's hand. "It's a fruity flavour. See you next time" "Oh, thank you. I'll be sure to encourage Sammy to drink that. He's probably gonna be thirsty after playing outside earlier. Bye, see you around!" Lily took the baby bottle and handed it to Samuel, waving goodbye to Darla. She walked out to where the display cart was waiting, filled with stupendous looking toys. "Okay, Honey, it's time to pick a toy. Here, I'll put you down so you can look in the cart and choose whatever you want!" she stated. ============== Castile rubbed Aurora's back soothingly and kept purring, "It's okay, you're okay" he murmured softly to her with a caring tone. "You're doing fantastic. Good girl, Aurora". He praised her again when she nodded and bravely let Lacey do her job. Castile was glad to see her smile a little, knowing she was trying her best to stay calm and do as she was told. He chuckled when she kissed her hand to indicate which one. Cute. Lacey helped fit the VR goggles on over Aurora's eyes, making sure it was comfortable on her head and tightening the elastic strap to the correct fit. She placed the controller in her little hands and helped her fingers and thumbs find the buttons. The game soon loaded, showing the princesses from the Nintendo game franchise. Aurora could choose which princess to play as and then do little mini games such as fairground games, as well as talk to magical animals similar to the ones on Animal Crossing. She could play dress up with the princesses, collect flowers and make bouquets, play food making games, decorate a bedroom for her chosen princess and so much more. There was even magic and obstacle course levels like on Roblox. Everything in the game was in pretty colours and there were lots of sparkles and cute music. While Aurora played, Lacey prepared the needle and vials, waiting about ten minutes and then peeling off the anaesthetic patch, wiping off the cream and gently taking the girl's tiny hand in her own, holding it still. "Alright, Sweetie, I need you to hold your hand very still for me now. Just keep it verrrrry still" she coaxed her, while prodding the numb area for a vein and then inserting a butterfly needle, drawing up some vials of fresh blood. She finished up as quickly as possible, wiped the small dot of blood and put a Disney princess bandaid on the site. "Perfect! You are all done, Sweetheart. You can go whenever you're ready. And I have a special yummy drink to give you. Then Castile can take you to get a brand new toy from storage room 11. Good kids earn rewards!" she told the girl, "If you want to keep playing some more, feel free to. I'm just going to save your information in your chart" she told her, taking the vials and storing them, clearing away the medical trolley and items then sitting down at the office desk with the open paper file and computer to update all Aurora's details. They'd have to wait for the test results to come back on the bloods. Castile had to look away when the needle was going in, feeling a swoop of dizziness when he saw the blood. He let out a breath of relief when it was over, congratulating Aurora on getting through her first check up with flying colours. "Hurrah! You did it, Aurora! You were amazing. Nurse Lacey finished the check up and you even get a prize for being so brave. That's pretty good! I've got a baba with some yummy juice in it when you're ready. Let's go pick out a toy" he encouraged her. "And we should figure out what to do after this. I'm thinking some play time with your new toys then dinner and a bubble bath, unless you or Sammy have other ideas!"
  5. The instruments may have looked weird yet thankfully they didn’t hurt, even if some of them felt a bit funny. Castile made sure to praise and reassure his tiny patient, “You’re doing so well, Aurora. Such a good girl. I bet nurse Lacey has never had such an easy patient” he said, as he continued to keep up a soft purr, one arm around her back. He would seat her in his lap between his big cat paws but then the nurse would have to get down on the floor to reach the little girl. So even though she was sat in a chair, he kept physical contact so she felt calmer. Lacey noticed how nervous she was and commented “It’s okay to be scared but everything is fine. We are almost done. See, I promised you nothing will hurt. I just have one last thing left to do and then you can go” she told her, hoping that knowing it would be over soon would put Aurora more at ease. She gently took hold of Aurora’s left hand, “This one? You want me to put the cream here? Okay. Here, it might feel a little bit cold” she said, sticking the anaesthetic patch on. “Alright, now you get to play a game little lady and test out our brand new VR set. Aww, it’s okay. Don’t cry. Nothing bad is going to happen. I just want to monitor your brain activity while you play a game. That’s all” she said, telling a white lie. She brought out a children’s sized pair of what seemed to be funny goggles and the case was decorated with a pink 'skin', stickers and glitter. She also brought out a matching game controller. “Look, this controller has a little teddy bear face and paw prints on the joy sticks. Isn’t it cute? I’ll put in a princess game for you, how does that sound?” she asked, crouching to show Aurora the items, holding them over her lap. “All I want you to do is play this for ten minutes. And you’ll be done. I might ask you to keep your hand still at one point and that is all” ============= As Samuel’s character ran around talking to Mickey mouse and playing all sorts of fun mini games, collecting items and exploring a virtual version of Disneyworld itself, Darla wasted no time in wheeling her cart closer to her and taking a fine butterfly needle. She removed the sticker patch on Samuel’s hand, which was quick and didn’t hurt, then gently wiped the cream off with a tissue and began to feel around for a good vein. He could probably feel her lightly holding his wrist while she studied and prodded the back of his hand. She noticed him freeze up. “Hey Samuel, it’s okay. I’m just having a little look at your hand to see how my special cream is working. You won’t feel anything” she explained, sounding as comforting as she possibly could. Her tone was friendly and casual, letting him know that everything was okay. Lily saw what Darla was preparing to do and gave him a little squeeze, cuddling him on her lap, rubbing her hands on his tummy in a soothing motion. “That’s right. You just focus on your game. Tell me, what do you see in those goggles? Is it good? Can you tell me about it?” she asked, “I noticed the VR set is even customised which means someone decorated it with stickers and rainbow colours and glitter. It’s very cool. You’re a lucky boy getting to use such an expensive piece of technology” she said, trying to take his mind off other things. “Just hold this hand still. Can you do that for me? Keep it as still as you can until I say so” Darla pierced the vein and began drawing up some vials of blood. It didn’t take very long and it was over in about a minute. Once it was done, she placed a colourful band-aid on the back of his hand to hide the tiny pinprick and moved all the full vials into a special storage container to be taken to the lab. “Okay, Samuel, I’ve got some good news for you; we are all done, you can move your hand as much as you want. You can go whenever you are ready or stay and play the game for a while” she offered with a smile. “Good job completing your first medical check up. You can get a special toy once you leave my office. Miss Lily will know where the cart is”
  6. Lacey wheeled over a trolley with some medical tools on it, keeping it out of Aurora’s line of sight so the tools didn’t scare her. She heard her whine and gave her a friendly smile, hoping to make her feel calmer. She waited while Castile sank down on his haunches beside a padded chair, placing Aurora on it and wrapping a caring arm around her shoulders. He kept up a low purr the whole time. Lacey pulled up an office chair and sat down, “Alright, I think we’re ready to begin. I’ll just look in your eyes, ears, nose and mouth to make sure everything is good and then you can have the game to play” she stated, showing Aurora the VR set that was decorated with lots of stickers. Lacey picked up a funny tool and brushed some hair away from Aurora’s ear. “Okay, I’m looking inside your right ear now with this instrument. It might feel a little funny but it won’t hurt” she explained, putting the end of the scope in her ear and pushing it in the slightest amount before peering through the eye part, using a small light to see the inside of her ear canal. She did the other ear and changed the cap part of the scope, then began to look in Aurora’s eyes. “Okay, I’m shining a light in your eyes. It’s okay to blink” she told her, checking them over too. Once they got to the mouth, she got a long, flat stick “This looks like a giant ice cream stick, doesn’t it? Can you open your mouth wide and say Ahhh? I will use this stick to press on your tongue so I can see all the way down your throat” Lacey told her with a smile. Once the basic checks were over, nurse Lacey took a stethoscope and began to listen to her breathing and heartbeat, telling Aurora to take slow breaths in…and then out. She also asked her to cough a little. Lacey used a funny rubber hammer on Aurora’s knee, making her leg flinch. The nurse was recording all the info in a paper chart. “And soon you can play the video game. I will put some cream on the back of your hand now” she told her, opening an anaesthetic patch “Which hand would you like it on? Do you use your right hand or left hand when doing things?” she touched each hand as she said left and right. ============= Over in the other room, Darla was doing the same routine. She performed the basic health checks, being very calm and friendly. Lily rubbed Samuel’s upper arm in a comforting gesture, hoping he would begin to calm down once he realised nothing that nurse Darla was doing was hurting him. She was happy that he waved at Darla. He was usually so shy that it was pretty amazing he would wave back. Nurse Darla smiled as he held up his right hand “Okay, then we’ll put the cream on your left hand. That way you can use the right one as much as you want and the cream won’t get in the way” she said, sticking the patch of numbing cream on the back of his left hand. Normally they took about an hour to work but these ones were specially developed for the manor so they only took 10 minutes. Darla picked up the stethoscope and showed it to Samuel “Samuel, this is a stethoscope. I’m going to use this to listen to your heart and your breathing. Is that okay?” She placed the end of it on his chest, and the earpieces in her ears, asking Samuel to take some deep breaths and let them out, then cough a little. Darla frowned in thought “Ah. It seems you have a slight congestion in your lungs right now. You must have a cold” she told him with a smile. “I see Dr Wong has given you some of his medicine candy. I hope you get well soon. Okay…now I’ll just look in your eyes, ears and mouth” she explained, doing the actions, showing him each tool and telling him what she was doing at each step. She tested his reflexes and a few other things. Eventually it came time to do the blood test. Darla showed Samuel the VR headset. “You’ve done really well, Samuel. Your check up is almost over! And I keep my promises. It doesn’t hurt. Now for the last part, you can play a game while I finish up. I just put these funny glasses over your eyes and give you the gaming controller. You will be able to play a fun Disney game. I’ll tell you when to take it off” she said "But you might be having so much fun you want to keep playing" she chuckled. The game was set in Disney World, with lots of mini games and the famous characters to talk to.
  7. ((OOC: sporry for the wait, guys. I'm tired tonight but plan to do a reply on here tomorrow morning. Was gonna do today and got sidetracked by other things))
  8. She was glad that he calmed down. Lily saw the mess Samuel made of her clothes. It was a little gross but she didn’t worry too much about it, taking a couple of wipes from the pack in her pocket and wiping at her shift as well as Samuel’s face. “Oops, you’re a little sticky now. Let’s get that sorted. There. There you go. All better” she smiled, throwing the used wipes away as she went by a trash can. She brought Samuel to the nurses’ station back at the mansion and walked up to the front desk. “Hi there! You must be Darla, the head nurse” she greeted a short woman in a nurse uniform with long, bright pink hair, half circle glasses and green eyes. “I’m Lily Green, one of the newly hired nannies at the manor. I’ve brought one of our newbies for their first check up. This is Samuel. He’s a little nervous” she explained, rubbing his back as she cuddled him. “But I’ve told him there’s no need to be. And the nurses are very kind” Darla looked at her and smiled brightly “Oh, well, it’s good to see some new faces around here! Welcome to Balverk Manor, you two. Hello Samuel. Yes, Miss Lily is right! We are very nice nurses here. Your checkup will be so easy, it will be over before you know it” she said, “If you just want to bring him this way” she said, motioning to a small ward with a couple of beds and comfy chairs. She gathered her supplies on a trolley and washed her hands before putting on gloves. Lily brought Samuel to the room and sat on a chair with him on her lap. “Okay, are you ready, Sammy?” she asked, smiling and patting his knee reassuringly “I’m right here” she said. Darla wheeled the trolley over, keeping it out of view of the boy. She sat on an office chair and scooted closer, smiling at Samuel, seeing the blue rose in the magic bubble that floated above his shoulder. “Oh my, it looks like Mr Balverk gave you a rare blue rose! That’s so cool. I heard they have magical powers. Alright, let’s begin your assessment. Here we go” She picked up an anaesthetic numbing patch and opened it. “Okay, I’m just going to put some ointment on the back of your hand. Which hand do you normally use most?” she asked, “Your left, or your right?” Darla gently touched each arm as she asked the boy. “It might be a little cold but that’s all. You need to leave it on there for a few minutes while I do the rest of the health checks. Don’t worry, there’s no pain. I am just going to look in your eyes, ears, mouth and nose. I will listen to your heart and breathing and test reflexes. Little things like that” she said with a warm smile. “It’s okay to be scared. But you really don’t have to be” ============ Castile followed after Lily into the manor, purring to keep Aurora calm. He was so proud of Aurora for being brave and agreeing to have her health check “Good girl!~ You are being so brave. I’m very proud of you. Let’s follow Lily and Sammy inside then and get this over with” he said, cuddling the little girl close with a smile, his kitty fangs peeking out the corners of his mouth. Castile walked a metre or two behind Lily, wanting to give them some space and let them go ahead. There was no rush after all. And he wanted to give Aurora a little time to mentally and emotionally steel herself and gain her composure before they started the check ups. Castile let Lily go to the front counter first, then walked up and spoke to another nurse while Darla saw Sammy. “Hi there. Castile Lightswirl here!” he pointed a thumb towards himself “New nanny for the Balverk Manor and happy to be here. I’ve brought this beautiful little pumpkin for her very first health assessment. She’s a new member of the Balverk family and she needs her medical checks” he stated, “And she’s a little scared but she’s being very brave! I promised her nothing will hurt” he said, giving the nurse a meaningful look. The nurse had light blue hair and yellow eyes. She smiled “Oh, how delightful, a new family member. It’s so good to meet you, Aurora and Castile. Aren’t you two a colourful pair!” she replied with a grin, admiring Aurora’s adorable pink onesie with the frilly ruffles and Castile’s rainbow swirls over his fur, “Well Darla is busy with the other new boy right now but if you like, I can perform the check up for little miss Aurora. My name is Nurse Lacey. Come right this way. And yes, it will not hurt a bit! I am very good at not hurting my little patients” she said, with an encouraging tone and smile towards the little girl in Castile’s arms. “Aurora, do you like video games? I have a special pair of glasses you can wear that will let you play a virtual video game” she stated, taking them into a side room where there was also beds and chairs.
  9. ((I don't know if Doorset's ever coming back, guys. Last time I asked him he said he was under a lot of stress. I didn't want to keep pestering him to come back so I thought we could just continue the rp ourselves and take the story where we want it to go. I'm willing to play his characters as NPCs. That way if he did want to come back, he can take the reins again. So I will play Darla the head nurse and Lyn and Tori the nannies for now. If you wanna help me brainstorm ideas for the plot or stuff you want to do with our characters, my Discord is RainbowPixieCat#7705)) His ears drooped a little as she whined and he hurried to reassure her, lowering her down into a hug and rubbing her back. “Oh, no, no, no, Sweetheart, don’t worry. The nurses are very nice and they won’t hurt you. They are there to help make sure you are healthy and don’t have any allergies or health issues. I will come with you and sit with you the whole time. And I read that everyone who gets a check up gets a special toy from storage room 11 as a reward. I promise it won’t be painful in any way” he said, having read about the medical process for new kids. Sure, they would want to do a blood test but they used anaesthetic cream on the area so the kids couldn’t even feel anything, and they had a VR set for them to play with as well so they wouldn't see any needles or blood either. “Don’t you want a rare or special toy that will be yours and no one else’s?” he stated, starting to carry her back towards the manor. “The head nurse is Darla and she is very good with kids. I think you’ll like her because she apparently is very small and has long pink hair” he told Aurora. “That’s what my guidebook says. I don’t know how Tanya is her mommy, because she is 6 feet tall. But Miss Darla is tiny” he chuckled, tickled pink by the idea. =========== Lily picked up Samuel, noticing Castile comforting Aurora at the same time. She smiled in slight amusement, seeing that both kids’ reactions were the same. She let him hide his face in her uniform dress but picked up the pacifier attached to his onesie with the picture of a whale on it and replaced his fingers with the matching dark blue paci. “Oh no, don’t put your fingers in your mouth, Honey. There could be germs on them and you already have a cold. Suck on this instead” she told him, putting the bulb between his lips and gently patting his back as she tried to reassure him. “It’s okay. The nurses are really kind and they won’t hurt you. They just want to do a check up to make sure everything’s okay. Me and Castile will come with you kids and it will all be over in minutes. If you let the nurse do your check up, you earn a special expensive or rare toy afterwards. That would be nice. And the toy is just for you, no one else. So you can keep it in your Fireman themed room” she told him, falling into step alongside Castile. “There’s no need to cry, they haven’t even done anything yet. And I promise it will not hurt one bit” she said, “They will look in your eyes and ears, check your temperature and even let you play with a special virtual reality game”
  10. Lily looked surprised at his reaction, then started laughing. “Oh my gosh! You totally got me! How sneaky!” she giggled, “Putting on an act to draw me out. You were so convincing. I think you’d be a great actor. I couldn't even tell those were crocodile tears” she told him, laughing some more as she started to pick leaves and twigs out of her hair. She saw the blue rose Mr Balverk gave him floating in the bubble near his shoulder. “I guess that followed you so it didn’t give your spot away” she grinned, poking the bubble and watching it bounce in the air. "I'll never get tired of that, hehe" When he sneezed, she grabbed some tissues from her pocket and put one to his nose, wiping it and instructing him “Blow” Once that was done, she tossed it away in one of the outdoor trash cans. Lily then handed him another medicine candy. Still not noticing the flower on her head, she put her hands on her hips casually “Well…what should we do now? Is there anything you wanna do? I think we still have to take you kids for your nurse check ups. And we should really get you a bath” she mentioned, “Looks like your hair hasn’t been washed in a while” ============= Castile grinned as she giggled, picking her up and spinning her around in a circle “Wheee!” he said playfully, before coming to a stop. “Well, hide and seek’s over. Unless you wanna play something else. We probably should get you guys to see a nurse though” he stated “Just in case there’s any medical conditions or allergies we’re not aware of. And after that, maybe a bath for you kids. You get a bit dirty playing outside”
  11. ((Okay. Then we can get the kids ready and take them to the aquarium the next day in the rp. They still have to spend their first night in their new home)) Castile expected Samuel to laugh but the quiet kid didn’t, only flinched in reaction. Oh well, he had to remember the kid was a bit skittish. It’d take time for his happier side to emerge. It was only their first day at the mansion, still. Maybe Castile would learn what made him laugh eventually. What kinda things he found funny. The cat kept looking for Aurora, even though he knew where she was. He could hear and smell her. Due to his animal senses. They were so handy and they gave him an edge over most carers. He prowled around and made silly comments for a while longer before honing in on the ladybug hide out. Castile stepped to one side then leapt into view of one of the openings in the dome shaped structure. “Surpriiise! I found youuu!” he called out with a grin, “Boo!” he leaned forwards to tickle Aurora’s sides, laughing a bit himself. “I got ya! You think you could hide from me? I’m just too good” he laughed. ============ When Lily heard Castile find Aurora, she had to cover her mouth to prevent her laugh slipping out. This reminded her of her own childhood. Being caught by an adult was more silly than being caught by another kid. Castile was acting so goofy. But when she heard the sound of Samuel apparently crying, she sighed and crawled out of the bushes. Seems someone was a bit of a sore loser perhaps. “Sammy…I’m here! It’s just a game. No hard feelings. I’m sure Castile didn’t mean to jumpscare you that much” she said, heading towards him with leaves and twigs in her hair, and a flower on top of her head, caught in one of her mint green buns. She crouched by him, putting her hand on his shoulder lightly “Don’t take it too seriously. It’s just a silly game for fun. I’m sure you can find another hiding spot. Or even be the seeker next time” she said encouragingly. “By the way, I brought the bag of medicinal lollies that Dr Wong gave you. If you need another one, let me know” she said, rattling the bag in her apron pocket. She thought maybe he was oversensitive from feeling ill or tired due to his cold.
  12. ((Hellooo? Anyone home?))
  13. Castile kept playing it up for laughs, looking under a sand bucket, under a leaf, and all over the place. He heard a sneeze and looked over at the pink hibiscus bush “Am I hearing things, or did that bush just sneeze?” he asked aloud so the kids could hear it. He then decided that he made them wait and built up the anticipation long enough. Castile went over to the play house and opened the door, “Peekaboo, I see you!” he cried out, pointing at Samuel. “That was a great hiding place. But I found you” he said with a laugh. “Do you want to help me look for Aurora and Miss Lily?” He then resumed looking around the playground, and crept towards the tunnels. He looked into them and called down them “Helloooo, anyone here?” His tail swayed playfully. “I don’t think she’s here. Let’s try somewhere else” he said, hearing diaper crinkles from the ladybug hideout. “Is it just me, or is that ladybug suspiciously crinkly sounding today?” he asked Samuel. He knew where Lily was but he wanted the kids to pounce on her hiding place together. ((Anything you guys want to do in particular with your characters? Like any experience you want them to go through? Or a goal or milestone? Go on a trip somewhere, like the beach, mall, zoo, aquarium? Try fishing on the North Pond. Explore the gardens in the Northwest wing. Idk we can brainstorm things. Learning or being taught something new like studies, umm and I had plans to take the kids to get nurse checkups after this and have blood drawn. And then they get special toys for it. And then give them a bath because Samuel's dirty))
  14. Castile's big soft cat ears twitched and swivelled as he heard all sorts of sounds, people moving and crawling, bushes rustling, the crinkle of a padded diaperbutt, a plastic door closing...he snickered. He was sure finding them would be easy for him due to his feline senses. But he was gonna go easy. He'd make it fun for the little ones. He was also laughing at the fact that Miss Lily seemed to be such a big kid herself, joining the kids in hiding. =========== Lily peeked out of the leafy bushes, her heart pounding faster as she watched Aurora scramble to get into a good place. She tried to soften her breathing, certain the cat taur would hear her. She also tried not to wiggle but it was so hard to stay still inside a poky scratchy bush. The thing about this was, right now it was spring and all the bushes and flower beds were flowering. Lily saw flowers in amongst the leaves. She leaned forward to sniff one of them, noting it was a pink hibiscus. The stamen in the middle was sprinkled with powdery yellow pollen. Lily's nose began to itch as she sniffed the flower's delicate fragrance. ============ "Seeeeven...eiiiiggght...niiinnnne.....teeeeenn! Okay...ready or not, here I come!" Castile shouted out, giving the hiders plenty of extra time to hide by counting slowly and stretching every number out. He started to walk around, looking under and around playground equipment. "OH NO, where can my friends be? I can't see them anywhere. They must be really good at hiding!" he said aloud, slowly pacing across the green lawn. His big soft paws barely made sounds, just light thuds. "Is someone...here?" he looked under the slide, bending down suddenly as he shouted 'here'. "Nooo...." He kept looking, climbing up the play structure and beginning to peer into tunnels "How about...here?! Or...maybe...here! Ha! I got you! OH NO, there's no one there! They tricked me!" he gasped theatrically, putting his hands to his cheeks and looking shocked. "How could I be wrong? Well, I'm sure I'll find them....heeeeeeerrrrrre!" he stated, jumping onto the suspension bridge which made it bounce and rattle, and leaning over the side to look underneath, turning himself upside down. "Heyyy, I can't find anybody. This is so hard. You three are such great hiders!" He kept slowly prowling around, checking silly and obvious places, purposely pretending not to see them.
  15. Lily saw Aurora looking "Psst! Hey, Aurora, there's a spot right there" she whispered, pointing to a play house, then to some tunnels on the play structure, then to a hide shaped like a smiley lady bug with holes in it. There was also a merry go round and some hidey spots under the play structures' legs, bridges and a few mini tables.
  16. ((Glad someone finally posted. I hope Aurora comes back too)) Castile decided to go down the slide for fun. The idea made him laugh and it was okay to be silly and ridiculous sometimes. He walked around to the back of the slide and stood looking at the ladder, trying to figure out how he was going to climb it. Castile settled on using his feline paws and began to scale the steps, trying not to put too much weight on them. He wasn’t THAT heavy but he was large compared a human or a child. He managed to make it to the top and lowered himself down with much of his front feline half hanging down the top of the slide. “Three…two…one…go!” he said softly, using his human hands to push himself off the safety rails on the sides. The cat slid down super fast due to his soft fur, going in a wavy pattern, uttering a short “Wheeee!” He leaped gracefully off at the end, circling around to face everyone again. Castile looked at the slide. It must be solid stuff. It didn’t have even a bend in it from his use. “Thank goodness, I didn’t break the slide, hehe!” He looked at Samuel. “You seem a little bored now, Sammy. How about we all play hide and seek? I’ll count to ten while I close my eyes, and you three run and hide somewhere in the playground. Make sure to pick a good spot, because if I find you, then you have to be the counter next time” Castile raised his hands to cover his eyes and slowly counted out loud. “Ooone…twoooo…threeee…” His tail swished playfully. ========= Lily looked around "Does anyone need help hiding? Wait, someone help me find a place to hide! I'm too big" she said, looking around to see where she could fit. She began to run around the playground before deciding to hide in some flower bushes. She crouched in them, trying to keep still. But they weren't very comfortable and the twigs and leaves were scratchy and poked her. She shifted a little, making the bushes rustle.
  17. “You want me to slide? Okay then, I will!” Lily said with a giggle, climbing the ladder easily. She stood behind Aurora, patiently waiting for her to go down. Once Aurora went down again, to be caught up in Castile’s arms, Lily sat with her legs stretched out in front of her and then counted down “Three…two…one…lift off!” she pushed against the raised sides of the slide, then put her hands in the air as she sailed down, one, two, three bumps before leaping off at the end with a flourish “Yahoo! I did it!” she laughed, “That was fun. I haven’t been on a slide in years. I want to go again” she enthused. It made her feel like a springy young froggy again. ============== Castile had caught Aurora and stepped to one side to make way for Lily’s descent and they watched her leap off with a spring, her hair bobbing with the movement. “Nicely done, Miss Lily. Ahehe! Go ahead, I’m not going to stop you” he laughed. “Who says the kids get to have all the fun. We should join in and play together. But…ah…I don’t know if I can fit on the slide” he said, looking at Aurora “It might be dangerous. Should I really try to go down it? What if I squash it flat?!” he joked, grinning and laughing some more. “Wouldn’t cha rather play tag or hide and seek? You don’t REALLY want to see me go down the slide, do you?” he playfully kept asking. He was flip flopping on his decision to go or not. He didn’t want to break the slide…or fall off in front of the kids and look very silly.
  18. ((Not much we can do till he gets back)) He watched her every moment she was on the slide, not taking his eye off her except for blinking. He would pounce forward in an instant if he saw her fall. But no, she slid down the wavy plastic without any trouble. Her giggles made the day seem lighter and happier. He put her down and watched her bounce about, wishing he had that kind of energy. Castile watched her head back around to climb again and switched his focus to Samuel, knowing Lily had Aurora’s back while climbing. Aurora seemed to show the boy just how fun it was, spurring him to go down. The cat taur easily caught him at the end of the ride, picking him up more gently than Aurora and smiling as he held him in his arms, jiggling him slightly both as a playful gesture and to soothe him. “Ayyy, well done, matey! No problem. That’s what I’m here for” he smiled, showing his kitty teeth. “Miss Lily will be so proud of you” he told him warmly before placing his feet back on the ground. “Alright, go again if you want, or do whatever you wanna do. You’ve got the whole playground” he said. “Maybe we’ll start a game of tag or hide n seek in a bit and see if you guys will like that” ============== Lily clapped when Samuel rode down the slide, cheering for him as Castile caught him. “Yay, woohoo! You did it!” she said, “Isn’t that fun? Hey, do you guys think I could go down the slide?” she asked them, pointing to herself with a grin. She thought if she did, it would make them laugh.
  19. ((How do you quote someone on here? I need to ping Doorset 'cause this is his rp and he's not posting in it. Are we supposed to make up the plot on our own?)) EDIT 8/08/22 - Got him in private messages. Doorset said 'post as you will'. Real life is keeping him too busy to rp much lately. I guess we can make the plot as we go.
  20. He was content that Aurora was confident about climbing the ladder herself. He saw her hesitate and then start coming over to him and figured that maybe she changed her mind and wanted extra assistance after all, but she surprised him with a hug instead. He felt his heart melt at the gesture, smiling and patting Aurora’s head while starting a soft purr. “Aw, thanks for the hug, Sweetie. You’re so sweet” he told her, leaning down to put his arms around her and return the hug briefly. He wanted to encourage that kindness in the girl. He watched her go back to the slide and start climbing up this time. Once she was at the top, he decided to cheer her along. “Well done, you made it to the top. Now you just have to slide down, ahehe! Get ready…set…go!” He slowly said each word, waiting for her to sit and then push off, spreading his arms to catch her at the bottom. The slide had a wavy design, making her go down four small dips before reaching the bottom at a nice speed. The slightly undulated design made the ride more fun. Once he caught her at the bottom, he lifted her into the air and wiggled her playfully above his head. “Yaaay! She did it!” he lowered her to his chest, putting her back on the ground and to one side so she was out of the way on Samuel. “Wanna go again?” =============== Lily knew Samuel wasn’t as confident as the other girl, seeing him wobble from nerves. They’d have to work on his motor skills, it seemed. He looked up and probably got a view of Aurora’s legs and padded rump, clad with a pink onesie that had ruffles all over the bottom. It wiggled cutely as she climbed, making Lily bite back an amused chuckle. The little girl certainly was adorable. Her lovely long hair made the woman wish to brush it out and style it in a princess updo. But she seemed to be Castile’s little shadow for now. Lily kept a firm but gentle hold on Samuel’s waist as he climbed, holding him steady until he reached the top of the slide. She had to step up a few steps to keep hold of him. It was a tall slide. They waited while Aurora sat down at the top and then pushed off, shimmying down the smooth surface at good speed. Unlike the old fashioned metal slides that you could stick to if sweaty or damp, this one was made of that plastic stuff that tended to get static on it. It was very slippery. Lily helped Samuel move onto the platform and sit down “Okay, are you ready? I can give you a push if you want and Castile can catch you at the bottom. Since he’s already there. If you’re scared, we can slide down together. Do you want to do it yourself, or sit on my lap?” she offered, knowing how high up it must feel from a small child’s perspective. Being caught by Castile surely wouldn’t be that scary for Sammy, would it?
  21. Castile’s fluffy ears twitched around “You can climb it all by yourself! Are you sure about that? Well, alright then, I’ll take your word for it” he agreed with a smile, walking behind the slide and placing Aurora at the bottom of the ladder. “Okay, I’ll go around this side and catch you at the bottom. Better get climbing, Cutie” he said with an encouraging grin as he padded around to the front of the slide and knelt on his feline paws, his human hands held out to catch her once she reached the bottom. His tail swished side to side on the lush grass. He was in a playful mood. Playgrounds held happy memories for him. And all the kids here deserved as much carefree funtime as they could get. “I’m ready when you are!” he called out. He saw Lily coming their way, holding the brown haired, silver eyed boy from earlier. Castile chuckled at her greeting, casually waving at her. “Yeah, we’re having a great time! Feel free to join us” he invited, watching Samuel wave at Aurora. Getting the kids to interact had been challenging so far. It’d be good if they could start to get to know each other. He felt a little excited seeing Samuel wave at Aurora. That was a start! ================ “Thanks! I’ll wait and see what Sammy wants to do” she replied to the cat taur happily. Lily watched Samuel wave to the other child and beamed at the gesture. She was proud of him for trying. She waited while he took a moment to think, eventually pointing to the slide. “Wow, you wanna play on the slide? Sure thing! Let’s do it!” Lily beamed. “Gosh, that’s a nice big slide. It’ll be fun to ride allll the way down” she enthused, looking at it. Aurora was still climbing, almost at the top of the ladder by now. She carried the boy around to the back of the slide and lifted him onto the ladder too, placing his feet on one of the wide steps with a textured anti-slip surface. Lily continued to lightly hold Samuel’s waist as he held onto the rails of the ladder. “All right, I’m right here. You climb and I’ll hold you to make sure you don’t fall. Aurora gets to go first and then it’s your turn. I believe in you - you can do it!” she said with confidence.
  22. Castile pushed her decently high, but not so much that she could tip out of the seat. The swing was swishing with a jaunty pace, giving those small swoops in the belly as it whooshed through the air, hovering for a beat at the top of its climbs. The happy giggles of the little girl filled the air with delight, making the cat beam and chuckle. He was having fun watching and helping her, remembering how he played with his kids, the sounds of their laughter and chatter. He caught the slight scent of fresh pee due to his heightened senses and gathered that Aurora wet her nappy. It’s a good thing she was well padded, or the grass would be getting a watering! These diapers could hold a lot, so he didn’t worry about having to change her for now. He remembered his little ones loving their wet diapers; how warm and soft they felt. He was sure it would bring snuggly joy to Aurora too. When the girl pointed to the slide and named the object, Castile heard her clearly. “Slide; sure thing, kiddo”, he smiled. He grabbed hold of the swing’s rubber covered chains to slow it down, gently making it slower and slower before pulling it to a stop. Castile came around to the front and freed the little one from the safety belt, picking her up in his arms. “I’m glad you had fun on the swing, Sweetie. Let’s go over to the slide. Wow, it looks pretty high. Do you want some help climbing the ladder?” he asked her. He would stand behind her and hold his hands in the air, ready to catch her at any moment if she slipped or fell while climbing the ladder rungs to the top. “I can catch you at the bottom as well, if you want” he said reassuringly. The slide itself was made of silky hard plastic, and it was a wavy patterned slide in a bright yellow hue. ============== Lily looked up at Sammy now and then, seeing what he was crafting from the sand. It looked like he was making a castle. She admired the way he decorated it, knowing it was his own unique design and that no other child would have built a castle quite the same. Lily held up her work tablet and took a picture of the boy with his castle, liking how the photos came out. She kind of wanted to keep a daily journal for all the kids, each with pictures and writing about their day, what they’d done, learned, eaten, and so on. It was something daycare centres did and it would be a good record for both the carers and the kids to look back on as they grew up. It wouldn’t hurt to make a ‘Family Photo Album’ actually. Lily wrote that idea down to tell to Mr Balverk later on. When Samuel crawled over to her, she felt the tug on her uniform and looked down, stowing the iPad in her pocket once more. “Oh? Sammy? What is it?” she asked, then looked over to where he was pointing. “The swings? You wanna go on the swing? Sure, we can do that!” she said, picking him up and taking him over there. She saw Castile and Aurora go over to the slide right as she got there. “Hey Castile, Aurora. You look like you’re having fun” she greeted, nodding at them happily before turning her eyes back on Samuel. “All right Sammy, which do you want: the swingy, or the slide with Aurora? I’m sure she’d love a playmate” she said brightly. “If you can’t say, just point to what you want” she encouraged, rubbing his back in a comforting way. The bubble with the blue rose in it hovered just over his shoulder, following him everywhere like a faithful puppy.
  23. Lily watched him play. She had her tablet on her lap, reading the staff handbook and other stuff on there but looking up now and then to watch the child. She spotted some objects inside the toy box. "Looks like there are things to decorate sand sculptures and sandcastles with" she said, pointing to the toy box. There were containers that had flags, large pebbles, fake flowers, shells, driftwood, garlands, polished sea glass in multiple pretty colours, dried sea stars and other such things. You could use them to add colour and fun to any castle or figure you made. There were also sticks for doing finer details and tools for making shapes easier. A flat paint scraper and a plastic measuring spoon would be able to make small round domes for example. The moulds were plastic animals and sea themed stuff like crabs, mermaids, fish, octopus etc. "If you want to join Aurora on the swings, let me know" Lily said, "If you're feeling daring enough to make a friend" she smiled. "Being on your own all the time can get lonely and boring after a while"
  24. ((Sorry for the long wait. I wasn't well for a week or so)) Castile knew he made the right choice when Aurora responded positively to being put in a babyish swing. Her giggles drifted across the empty playground. They had the whole place to themselves, more or less. There was all the typical playground stuff: a climbing frame, monkey bars, a zipline toy, a slide, tunnels with window cut-outs, ride on bouncers, a sandbox, some teeter totters and a merry-go-round. There were also different types of swings. For the slides, there was one corkscrew slide and another that was wavy and was actually two slides joined together, with a dividing bump in the middle, so kids could race each other down together. The cat wrapped his tail around his back legs as the wind swayed it. He reached up to tie his hair back better, quickly taking the hairband out and putting it back in, preventing all the loose strands covering his eyes. He then started to push Aurora’s swing with a bit more force, sending it faster through the air. It swung like a pendulum, carrying her light weight with ease. Castile pushed a little harder, until she was swinging to and fro at a quick pace, and her feet went high in the air when she swung forwards, tilting the girl back a little and giving her a view of the sky. “Is that okay? Not too high?” he asked. He wasn’t pushing it as high as it could go. He didn’t want her to get scared. He kept gently pushing the swing after it swung two or three times, adding more motion to it. ================ Lily saw the whale design on the onesie he picked out “Cute. Do you like whales? They make me feel so little because they’re so big” she commented. “Most are gentle creatures” She noticed Samuel hiding his blush and cooed softly. He was very adorable. Once he was all snapped up in his new onesie, she again picked him up and took him out to the playground, following Castile’s path after a glance at her tablet’s map. When they reached the playground, Lily spotted the rainbow cat taur straight away, pushing the tiny girl on the baby styled swings. She looked like she was having a lot of fun. Lily took a few steps in that direction, thinking Samuel would want to join in, but he surprised her by pointing elsewhere in the playground. She listened patiently when he spoke up, smiling as he actually spoke to her! “Okay, since you asked so nicely. What good manners, Samuel! You’re more polite than some adults” she told him, switching track towards the sandbox and placing him down in it. She spotted a bench nearby some flower beds and went to sit down, able to view the whole playground from her seat. “I’ll sit right here next to the sandbox in case you want anything” she said. She pointed to a toy box. “I bet there are sand toys in there. Like buckets and spades and sand moulds” she said.
  25. Castile’s ears twitched as he waited for Aurora to reply to the list of options. He smiled once she chimed about the swing. “Okay then; we’ll go outside and play on the swing. I just have to talk to Ms Tanya some more first” he told the girl, holding her as he listened to the senior nanny answer his many questions. There was just so much to know and remember and it was only his first day. He couldn’t be expected to know it all at once. Thus, he listened carefully to what the older woman told him, nodding along and making mental notes. “Ohh, that makes sense. Less kids means less need for all the playrooms to be active” he commented, scratching his head with a finger. There had been tons of stuff in the warehouse. That explained why. It was all in storage until it needed to be used. And right now they had…five kids. Kurt, Milly, Mitch, Samuel and Aurora. He guessed that, of the five, Samuel and Aurora were the two that needed 100% watched, while Kurt, Milly and Mitch would be at 50% watched since they were a little more independent. “Well, thank you for telling me all that, Ms Tanya. I’m going to take Aurora to one of the outside playgrounds for some fresh air. If you need me, it’s the closest one. If the others wanna come join us, we’ll be out there” He then looked at Aurora “All right, come on; let’s go” Castile turned and carried the small girl out of the room, through the hallways and outside to the playground. It was a sunny day with some clouds and a nice breeze. The cat sashayed over to the swing set with graceful strides and paused, finding the sized up baby seats for children and placing Aurora in one of them, making sure she was strapped in safely. “Here we go~” Castile walked behind her and gave her a gentle push, setting the swing in motion. It went forwards, then backwards. He pushed it again, a little harder, sending it slightly higher and a bit faster. “How high do you want to go?” he asked Aurora as her hair swished in the air currents along with her pink hair ribbon, which fluttered. His own uniform billowed around him, along with his hair and fur. Sure was windy today. ================ Lily saw Samuel point and looked where he was pointing, seeing the pile of baby clothes he picked out. “Oh, you want to wear one of your new clothes. We can do that” she said with a smile. “Sure. Come on” Lily took the clothes down and laid them out on the floor. “Okay, point to the ones you wanna wear and I’ll dress you” she said. She had noticed his shrug at all the options she gave him but also noticed his attention flick to Aurora when she chose the playground swings and clapped. “You wanna go on the playground too? We can do that. Let’s just get you dressed first” she told him patiently. Lily placed Samuel on the floor and let him pick out his outfit. There were two pairs of shortalls, four t-shirts, three onesies and two rompers. Once he chose, she dressed him, noticing how unkempt and dirty his hair was. He was going to need a bath and a shampoo tonight for certain. Lily picked Samuel up again, now in his nice new fashion, and put the rest of the upsized baby clothes back with her tote bag on the shelves above the changing tables. The frog girl then walked over to Mitch and Milly, and finally, Kurt “All right, Sammy and I are going outside to the playground. If anyone else wants to come, follow me now. Otherwise you’ll have to go with Ms Tanya” With that said, she carried Samuel outside, seeing the playground and two figures near the swingsets. One was very obviously the cat taur and the other, the 4 year old, brown haired, blue eyed girl he was caring for.
