  1. Good chapter, a couple of times you indicate same is with or following Chrissy when I think it was actually Nina.

i find it interesting that when you are in these type of parks you always seem to meet up with the same families and personnel during the few days you are attending. Poor Sam always meets up with Karen!

  2. Doing well on the setup, only recommendation would be to try to use “American” English. A skirting board would be a baseboard, the garden would be a lawn, and most definitely baseball is not played on a pitch, it would be a field or baseball diamond.  I think it would be unusual for someone in the US to use these terms. Just a minor detail.

  3. There is a show on cable TV called “Storage Wars” where they show the auctioning of abandoned lockers and then reveal what they found and approximate values. The one locker had probably 30 boxes marked adult diapers. They are not allowed to inspect any boxes so they never really know what they are buying. Most of the bidders passed, one guy won the locker for a couple hundred bucks. It turned out these were some type of institutional diapers probably for a nursing home. He took a lot of razzing from the other bidders but he was thrilled because he had the knowledge that he could sell easily and make $2,000.00. I question how good this guy is a flipping lockers, a little bit of research would show him the value of these quality adult diapers. I had a friend that got into buying estate sales, he was telling me that he had five cases of Depends adult diapers size large. He wasn’t sure if he could sell and considered throwing them away. He put them on Craigslist as a lark and sold out in less than 24 hours. He was hoping to find more in the future!

  4. I wet the bed almost every night until around 12, went down to two or three nights per week until ending at about 15 1/2. I was only diapered for a camping vacation when I was 7. I did not enjoy being in diapers however when I was around 12 I started to have these weird desires to wear diapers. I even creased the Sears catalog to open to the incontinence products page hoping my Mom would get the idea to order some for me. I even saw her looking at that page one day and was sure she would ask me if I wanted to wear again. Unfortunately she never asked so I was left to my own devices to make diapers leftover from my little sister. The bedwetting finally stopped when I went through puberty but came back due to a medical issue in my early 30’s.

I just finished this, and it did not go the way I was expecting in a very good way.

I love the interactions between Zack and Elaine.  Maddy is an interesting character too.  I don't like Kelly, but I suppose that's the point, and I'm curious to see what happens to her and how she handles the situation, since it seems like more people are going to find out about Zack's diapers and might start asking questions.  And I wonder what that means for Dr. Paige, since her name will probably come up.

I'm curious to see where this goes.

I agree, @littlesheri keeps going in unexpected directions, I really expected Zach to fold and fully confess. The fact he did not brings up many possibilities. The question is, when will Kelly finally agree to bring in the authorities? When will she confess to Dad that in fact he is missing? So many possibilities!

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the comment.

I imagine Will's experience at ASU would be similar to my experience at a similar university that I am currently at. Will's boss is technically not his boss. Dr. Lau would be called the instructor of record and Will could work under a different one each semester depending on his own class schedule as long as he grades in a timely manner and writes and gives out quizzes regularly, there would be little to no interaction between the two. Ph.d students are really just clogs to help push as many students as possible through the series of calculus classes.

The quizzes that Will hasn't grade yet are in his office desk. If need be, Dr. Lau would get the department chair to open his office to get them.

In my experience, the only people who visit you in the hospital is family and very close friends. Will just moving to Arizona over a year ago, I don't see him forming those close friendships in that amount of time.

My experience was a little different, when I was in the hospital years ago it seemed like half the office visited over a couple of days! Maybe academia is different from an office job.

  7. I don’t know that you have enough data yet to determine if you are returning to bedwetting. I would think you would need to evaluate over a 30 day period, if you have several more unintentional accidents then it would seem to indicate that bedwetting is returning. If you don’t want to unconsciously wet the bed you may want to see your doctor.

  8. This is a little off topic however this thread reminded me of this story. Probably 20 years ago I had a friend that sold commercial trash service. He was complaining about one of his customers that was giving him a hard time, it was a nursing home. They only had the large dumpster emptied once a week. The dumpster was so heavy from the adult diapers that the truck could barely lift the container. It was one of those trash trucks that lifted the dumpster over the cab and in addition to struggling to get it over the cab sometimes pee would actually rain down on the cab. His operations manager was all over him to tell them they needed to pay for three pickups a week. My friend was upset, he said can you imagine using that many diapers? I had to restrain myself from saying it sounded like a dream scenario to me, especially if someone else was changing my diaper. He eventually lost the account because they would not pay for the extra service, he was fine with that because “I am tired of taking shit about adult diapers”.

Where did Kelly learn her behavior? Her mother.. I don’t think shes being evil on purpose, it’s all she knows how to do, and is just desperately trying to help mend his heart, and be a person of comfort. Because a boy needs their mom, especially at his age. As a special ed student who wore diapers in school, it wasn’t that big of deal, in fact I was more humiliated that I fit in the babyish designed diapers head start, and the state gave us then I was the actually needing the diaper. I grew up right up the road from zach is too ha so even the fictionalized world is a small place. Most can be trained, and that would be a goal of an IEP etc it was mine. A idea to draw him and Kellie closer might be to get them on the same page, I.E Kellie, getting Zach into a specialized potty training program run by Dr Page. Rather he becomes dry well lol.. But at least it would help a bond form between them, and help ease him to acceptance or dry pants.  I maybe the odd one out here but I just don’t see Kellie as Evil, and I do think she loves and cares for Zach. He just doesn’t see it yet, I hope he does hehe

    edited for clarity*

I  think the fact that she seems to go out of her way  to humiliate Zach in front of strangers is definitely a character flaw. Add in the fact that she is basically blackmailing him with using his sisters underwear and has turned a bedwetting problem into full blown incontinence. It is hard to find many redeeming qualities to me. Of course this makes a great character in the story!

Wow awesome chapter.  Zach is certainly more resourceful than I had given him credit for but he needs to slow down and think.  This takes me back to some training I had once.  Cover for status and cover for action.  Always have a valid for being where you are at and doing what you’re doing. In this case Zach is already behind the curve because he has already explained something that couldn’t be. Even still, I am impressed with how he’s doing so far.  I really doubt that Kelly has contacted the police yet.  She really doesn’t want to have to be explaining herself to any authorities. If he plays it cool he might just get out of there and still have his freedom.

Sorry to hear that work has been treating you poorly.  I know the feeling.  As much as I want to read more I fully understand the demands of life and where priorities need to be.  I will say that you can be assured I appreciate every new word you put out yet fully understand the necessity delays.

I think an unescorted minor patient who is already in the wrong facility and just escaped security will probably require a mandatory reporting to police, whether they are reacting that fast is another question.

  11. This is not really my type of story however the writing is compelling. I like stories that have some basis in reality, when I first started reading I wasn’t sure I would enjoy. Unfortunately with some of the politics in the US I am not sure that we are not moving in the direction of a dystopian society, so the story seems very on point. I am anxious to see where the story goes and possible resistance to the Hayes Act! Chels in ribbons keep up the great writing.

Since it is my thread, I would have to do it, unless a Mod wants to take it over (Please do, it sounds like a big responsibility).

My reaction to All Of My Girlfriend's Rules: Spoiler Alert!

I loved this story because it mostly completes Sarah's recovery from her trauma.  The end of AMMR has Sarah able to function as a somewhat normal teenager, but she is still holding a lot of the trauma inside her.  We begin this story with her coming back to the Higgins from college and the situation is still somewhat tragic.  It feels like she is destined to be alone and her bladder issues are still holding her back, especially because Lisa has fully conquered hers.

At the beginning of the story, Sarah still hasn't shared what happened to her with her mother with anybody but her therapist, which she has stopped seeing.  Lisa gets her to open up, which I loved how it was genuine caring.

My favorite and most cathartic scene is when Sarah throws a massive tantrum after her frustration with failing yet another attempt to use the potty.  I need to re-read that scene to get the full specifics of how Lisa gets a hold of her, but I love Sarah's inner dialogue when Lisa spanks her.  She was tempted to use her safe word but doesn't because this time she needs to be punished.  It led to Sarah accepting that potty training was only causing her anxiety and holding her back.

I found AMGR to be entertaining and helped tie up some of the open issues from AMMR. The disappointment was the ending felt a bit rushed, really did not cover Sarah’s conversion to full time diapers and how that effected her babysitting or if her foster parents thought this was strange. Hopefully can be explored in the third installment! Definitely worth the purchase.
