    How do others manage

Well by not sharing a room.

We never have to share if we don't want to, privacy is a thing we cherish overhere.

Have been on the road with a few colleagues for years and never had any problems though one or two knew I had bladder problems. We have seen a lot of the world this way.

  2. It may already been asked before but i'm looking for a story that i have read many many years ago in the early days of the internet so maybe one of the more aged members may have a lightbulb moment.

It's about a female reporter(newspaper i think) visiting an institute of some kind and noticing the people inside of it in some kind of diaper controlled behaviour/regiment. During the interview with i think was with the person in charge she gets drugged and starts to wet her self and she gets some kind of treatment (this part is hazy as its to long ago)

But wondering if this storyline sounds familear and that it is still somewhere to be found

  3. I had to deal with such a problem being a expat having to get a prescription for reimbursement by the insurance about 8 years ago.

Yes you get questions on the how and why which is logical as its a problem you should not have. Lucky me that i had a history to show so that was easy for me at that time but a doctor can prescribe you material for the time needed getting through the system of testing on why you have the problems. But be prepared that you wil go through testing to assess that there is no bad underlaying problems

I guess mentioning that you're using diapers from Boots(Attends) would help getting diapers instead of pull-ups. But take a read on the NHS site they explain a thing or two

    https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/urinary-incontinence/

Long story short, yes your doctor can help you but don't think that it goes without followup testing by a urologist.

  4. The trick of making a mold would be interesting, i wonder if a two component material can do it.

For making a mold of my ear to make ear protection they used a two component material which looks like a latex made thing.

    Cure time about 10 minutes

Gone try and find out what material this is, wil be back on that.

A other thing we may need is a thin tubing preferible made of somekind of foil to put the two component stuf in to not damage the urethra.

And do not forget a fail safe wire for retreaving.

Edited; the latex stuff is in reality a silicon based paste made by DETAX.

  5. Just a minor update:

The longer version still works better than a short version.

Now looking for a bit thicker tubing as due to body heat the current tube gets a bit to soft which may be a part of the problem.

For the record i use tubing from a infusion kit which is soft and flexible and a fitting size.

  6. I think the stent might be a bit too long reaching too far inside your bladder. When lying down the urine will not reach the opening of the stent untill the bladder is almost full.

Made a new one but a tiny bit longer, trying to see in fases what works better when shortening it bit by bit.

It makes sence what you say but my earlier versions where short but came lose faster.

Will update when i have more testing done.
