  1. "I know of one 11 year old who has to wear pull ups at night. It can really place a strain on teachers. It stops lessons."
  2. So the wedding actually went great. I was able to conceal the diapers at least moderately well by wearing baggier shorts and dress pants. I was also limiting my liquids intake which was helpful.
  3. No I don't think you're being jerk-ish. You make a legitimate point, and I may just tell them. The problem is though, they're not in my life that much. I've only been playing with them since December or so. This could also potentially be our last gig depending on circumstances. So all in all, I'm undecided if that's the option I want to take. I think right now that I want to use that as a last resort if there is no other way to hide this.
  4. Okay, to clear things up, I have been working to get self-induced incontinence since mid-January. It has caused me to have legitimate daytime and nighttime issues. It's not like I have no control, but it's getting there, especially at night. So no, I do not want to take a break from the diapers because of worries associated with that. The other part of it is that I don't want to backpedal the training.. But if you guys think it's too risky for me to purposely wet as much as I have been, then I suppose I can suck it up and wet less often. Sorry about the confusion.
  5. I play guitar a bunch and it ends up that I have to play at a wedding on Saturday. My bandmates don't know about my diapers and I am trying to figure out a good way to hide that. I could just tell them, but I don't know if I want to go there.
  6. I see what you're saying. I won't try to hold it. My big issue is that I am in a truck all day for work. That makes everything pretty difficult since I tend to accidentally be holding pee due to what I assume are anatomical issues. I can't seem to get the hang of this position. I know the driving position is probably the most difficult, but if I don't get something figured out, I can't make any progress at all. I'm guessing the best advice is to drink more water on a consistent basis, but is there any tricks people have figured out?
  7. Question: When you're starting out the first month, someone said that you should really focus on being able to pee and all sorts of positions. What's the best way to do this? Should I really be drinking a ton of water and holding it in a certain position until I just start wetting? Would time be better spent really trying to relax in positions that are easier?
  8. Can we please have an update Blake? I'm very curious as to how it's all going..
  9. Very interesting to hear your progress!
  10. Blake, why exactly can't you push when you're trying to pee? Is it just that it should come more naturally and you don't want to create habits? In the 12-month plan he does not think it really matters whether you push or not.
  11. So, after a lot of gathering of information, I think I have somewhat nailed down the two (physical) processes that need to be accomplished in order to achieve urinary incontinence. 1. Shrinking of the bladder 2. Atrophy of the sphincter muscles One will consequently affect the other. This is the simplistic understanding of what's going on, and I don't think it over-simplistic. If anybody can help me understand the mental part that would be great, because I surely don't understand the effects of it.
