Although my boyfriend is an AB/DL instead of just a DL, I think I know where you're coming from. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do when I first started changing him and such, but all I had to do was ask and he told me. It's something we can easily talk about. But if he doesn't like talking about it, the best you can do is try things out and see what he likes and doesn't like. Treat him the same as you would if he didn't wear, and be open to any hints he might give as to what he wants. Communication is really an important part of this whole thing, so try asking him about it and see what he says.

I'll have to see if I can figure out how to fold them right. I'd be interested to see if he likes them when they're done right and put on by me instead of doing it himself.

I'm a experienced ab, I had a gf/mommy for 5 years. Unfortuntley I'm bipolar, and didn't accept it, so I lost her.
I've accepted it now, on meds for 6 years, trying to get my life straight and meet that special someone.
I'm in Kansas City Missouri, not looking to meet, but willing to talk to you and your boyfriend.

i will add that i am a product of the early eighties and i do love plastic backed disposables alot. BUT there is a diaper that molicare makes called the premium soft, which IMHO resembles today's modern disposables better than anything ive tried yet. and it actually is a great diaper... check those out for the baby diaper in an adult size! i highly recommend.

He does like Bambinos, but we don't have anywhere to have more sent to at the moment. We both have roommates, and it's hard to keep secrets around our houses. But I'm sure we'll get some as soon as we get the chance.

I wore cloth when I was a baby, but my brother wore disposable s . My feelings were towards disposables, and never really wanted to wear cloth diapers, weird huh?
Well, now you get to pick which ones you wear!

For most of us, "real baby diaper" = what we wore when we were babies. For me, it was cloth which is why that's what I prefer to wear. Any way to find out what he wore the "first time around"? Once you know that, assuming it's some type of disposable, I'm sure the others here who are experienced in that area can help you find something very similar.
