Thanks Diaper Royalty - I look after his skin well with baby oil and nappy rash cream - he has never really suffered with a rash. 10 hours gives me enough time to take him on a day trip. He will complain about it and beg to be changed but, unless there is a discrete car park or suitable public toilet then he will have to wait til we get him on the changing mat at home!

The AB boy that I currently babysit is a frequent wetter. He age plays as a 5 yo but is still 24/7 - the minute I try potty training he always wets his trainer pants or pj's. I often take him on outings, to Mcdonalds, park, legoland etc but nappy changing opportunities are difficult in public. Is it fair / reasonable to leave him in a wet nappy (sometimes very wet!) for most of the day and change him when we get home? I would like to know what other mummies and daddies think.
