Yes, many people who believe that AB/DL is the life for them learn over time to accept their lifestyles and change because of it. The smartest of "us" just accept that we "are" and move on? No... That's the definition of ignorance. It's fine and well to be ok with who you are, since that essentially is an end goal for many therapies and such and I'm in full support of anyone who is proud of who they are regardless of age, sex, gender, preference etc. However, it's completely irrational to believe that only a self-reflection will lead to anything different than further confusion. I know that to think that our lifestyle or even thoughts about this lifestyle is completely not "normal", but not "bad" per se. I want to know the reason why I am the way I am, and I believe that by making new friends in this community and sharing personal experiences with as many people as I can, I can learn more about the potential causes and effects of DL. That being said, I'd love to get PM's from anyone who is between the ages 17-22 with their stories, as most of you can tell I have alot to say.
