Thank you! I've had a great welcome, everyone here feels very nice, I must say that I'm so far gladly suprised!

Hi Not sure where to begin really. What drew me to dailydiapers was the chance to get in contact with others with similar needs as my own. I've had a great reception and this is the first night I've registered and already two persons welcomed me in the chatroom and made me feel at home and welcome. My childhood was very hard, I was a neglected child, my father beat me and as I grew older and started school he stopped beating me but instead turned into always chiding me for the slightest slip I did and always commented on how I was and how disappointed he was in me. Whenever I cried he would say he would beat me until I stopped it. My mother ignored me and we rarely spoke to each other, she has never hugged me or been close to me in any way as long as I can remember. That was just some major details from my childhood that I think sparked my need to take care of my "child self". It was a painful discovery at first, I felt that I've missed out on my childhood and grew up without any love at all. Somehow I wish I can rediscover and maybe make up for what I've missed as a child,I hope that I can do it by recognizing my "child self" and try to git it some space. Most of this is new to me about the AB/DL/AK subculture/subcommunity, so far I think I fit best into the adult kid category, somehow my "child self" is somewhere between 5 or 6 years old so diapers is not really my thing and I'm not so very into it. On the other hand I'm very fond of things I've had as a child but also missed out on such as some Tv-shows (The Mysterious cities of gold and Ulysses 31 to name two that I saw in that age), lego and bedtime-stories. I'll probably discover more along the way. I think that is enough for an introduction, I hope to speak to more of you soon and get to know others! - Tigercub
