Simple solution to all this risk. Just put on a diaper and tell yourself you can't control it. Very little medical risk. After a few years it will be true, you will be diaper dependent.

Sadly not true for many of us. Tried that route for over a decade. Can hold it as well as ever. It may work for some, lucky them.

I know there are ways to do it, but unfortunately, nobody in their right mind would agree to actually helping me do this.

Nope. BIID is only treated as valid for transgenders. Anyone else unhappy with their body or function is just treated as insane and never given any assistance.

  2. I've worn 24/7 for about 13 years? now, trying to become incontinent. I still have perfect control. Easy to tell because each morning I wake up needing to go, but haven't. The only real difference is that I go probably two to three times as often as back then, in smaller amounts. If you're not bed wetting, then your muscles are clamping shut for 6-8 hours a night every day, which is more than enough to retain full control.

It's possible you have a different physiology that will enable you to become pseudo-incontinent just from wearing too much, but I really doubt it. Also unlikely, but you may have another underlying medical condition causing this.

  3. The plastic backing on these are about as thick as a single sheet of phyllo dough, so even touching the back split with your fingers is likely to poke a hole through them. You can also tell the minimal absorbency by the way it looks absolutely flooded on first minor wetting. It'll take about 2-3 small wettings, but would not work at all for a flooder.

You gotta put them on rather loose, and change them quickly and often. I still use these though, they are great if you just wanna hold over another 20 minutes before jumping in the shower, or to go get some drive-thru food picked up real quick, and don't want to waste a full premium diaper just to take it right off again. But I would never, ever wear one of these around another person or for very long.

the thing that made me raise my eyebrows was they said it will be more absorbent than the bellissimo!

That means it's time for a price increase. Secure/BHG have operated under the same MO since the beginning.

The Secure Plus used to last a good eight hours or more. Then the X-Plus came out, and the Plus line ended up thinner than before. But no worry, just buy the X-Plus for a bit more! Around this time BHG and the Classico came out and was mostly the same. That got a bit thinner, and then comes the Teddy, with 10% more absorbency! (and cost). These products slowly go from being a ten plus hours diaper down to around a six hour diaper, and then out comes the Bellisimo! (only 20% more).

Go back to the TotalDry Plus today, and they're basically three-ply paper towels wrapped in the world's thinnest plastic cover now.

  5. There are so many ways we are different as ABDL folks, but not wanting to wear for awhile after masturbation or sex seems to be pretty much unanimous. Lose the sex drive and the desire to wear is down.

It's because it's too charged an item for you. Same happens to all of us just starting out.

If you were to wear 24/7 for enough time, it would smooth both the highs and lows out. Putting one on wouldn't cause immediate arousal, and finishing wouldn't cause immediate self-loathing.

Not for everyone, not the least of which due to the cost, but I find it highly beneficial to mellow out the extreme emotional swings you get with occasional wearing.

  6. Congrats! Amazing that it's working, but wow, that is some level of commitment.

Eight months, twice a day, and you figure 30 minutes per listen, that's 240 hours of time. That's half the time required to learn Spanish, for instance. And you'll no doubt have to keep listening or the effects will go away.

It's pretty amazing how stubborn our minds are, that it takes that long to make a small change stick.

I've tried on and off for about 12 years with various tracks, but I usually stop after a few weeks for months at a time, so it's not enough =(

  7. Same here. The older ones were much softer, more flexible, and felt puffier while wearing.

The new ones feel like cardboard and leak out of the leg gatherings almost every time for me, even on first wetting, and I don't flood.

This is a shame because it's the only medium product that actually has padding up to my belly button. At about 34", other brands in large are so much bigger that the tapes from each side end up overlapping each other when I try those.

I've found the Northshore Supremes tend to be softer and puff up like the old 24/7s, but they're back to the smaller sizes. Their medium is 2-3" from reaching my belly button. Bambino also reduced their padding length this year, so at the moment I don't have a perfect product.

  8. I managed to get to 60 seconds before there was no possible way to hold my breath any longer. I could certainly feel a bit of pressure on the pelvic floor to relax, but not nearly enough that I would lose control. So I can see how this could work, but I can't hold out long enough. By the time I reach 60 seconds though, it's less like incontinence and more like panicking, so it wouldn't be enjoyable at all. It feels very forced, like you're being made to push out, rather than like it's relaxing on its own.

  9. I've tried for years to get hypnosis files to work, with very little success. I have gotten to the point where I can kind of imagine experiencing the effects during the recording, and rarely for a very tiny bit after. Eventually I just gave up because 20 minutes per listen adds up to a lot of wasted time.

  10. The new tapes are definitely great. Aside from the one-tape ABU diapers, these are the only tapes to ever stay on me without the need for additional boxing tape applied over them! After a few hours they'll start to peel just a bit at the bottom, but not enough to pop off.

  11. You can also make the case for a peridic need based on a reoccurring psychological need. Of course that would mean needing to see a psychologist and getting a note from them. Then you would still be covered under the ADA just as equally as a physically disable person.

  12. I like these for fit, feel and absorbency. But all that is completely worthless, the tapes constantly pop off. No matter if I use the resealable tape or take that off and use the permanent tape. The tapes are big but have very little adhesive area. Nobody else has this issue with these? I am trying the northshore this weekend hoping similar fit and feel with good tapes. Even if its not absorbent I dont mind, if the tapes are good. Dry 24/7 should use a tape panel, with maybe a different tape. Its a shame such a good diaper is ruined cause the tapes dont stay. I wake up in the morning and at least 1 tape is off, maybe 2.Never had this problem with bambino or ABU diapers.
