  1. I'm going by what's available in Tescos, firstly because they have self-checkouts, and secondly because I have to go there anyway to pick up some other stuff. They have Tena pants. Are these any good? The word "discrete" on the package kind of puts me off lol, they look like they might be a bit thin? The second option is to go for something like Underjams or Drynites for teens, but I'm worried they will be toooo small. What do you think I should go for?
  2. I know, I'm dead chuffed! lol I also bought 4 Kitkat Chunky bars for a quid, bargain. I think I'm addicted already, I find myself waiting for the house to be empty and then I rush over to the place where I hide them and pop one in.
  3. Can using a soother give you teeth problems? I already have a problem with my jaw joint (TMJ dysfunction) which I have to wear a bite guard at night for and I am worried that using a soother for an extended period of time will aggravate it. Any experiences of this? Thanks!
  4. Yeah, I doubt anybody would suspect me at all. But there is always that niggling voice stopping you from doing it ... "What if I see somebody I know? They know I don't have a baby." I think I will get a bottle next time I'm there. I've not bought any nappies yet, though I hope to at some point soonish. I will have the house to myself for the weekend in a few weeks so that would be a good time for me to experiment and see what I like/don't like. I'm not sure where to buy nappies from though. I'm not exactly skinny so I doubt I would fit pull-ups or anything else make for tots. I have seen the Tena pants and similar own brand products, but I'm not sure if they're any good or not.
  5. A few hours ago I was in town and I went into the £1 shop. I couldn't resist taking a look at the bottles and dummies (pacifiers), though up until now I've never worked up the nerve to actually buy anything. I still wasn't brave enough to pick up a bottle, but I worked up the courage to buy a pack of two simple soothers. Compared with some of the other soothers they had, the bulbs seemed the biggest size. So I went up to the counter and bought them, it was as easy as that. I was worried that they would be too small but I just tried one out and it is fine, at least until I feel brave enough to order a Nuk 5. Even though I'm a girl I'm not really a fan of the girly designs, I've always been a bit of a tomboy really. So I went for the blue and green pack rather than the pinky colours. I can't wait until bedtime so I can have a good suck without worrying that somebody will walk in on me.
  6. Just had a look, thanks! I found one similar to the one I want and it's sooo much cheaper. I think I might actually get one when I've saved up enough.
  7. This is the one I love: But with shipping it's about £30 (45 dollars). Although it's not the money I'm worried about, it's how discrete it will be. I know that some of you have bought from this company before, can you tell me what the packaging is like etc? At the moment, embarrassment is the main thing that's stopping me buying. I don't want the bill saying I've bought a dummy ...
  8. Arrrgh, it's so hard to know what to do lol ... those Nuk 5 ones are so expensive and I really can't afford to pay that much for a dummy on my budget. And I would be so embarrassed to buy one! My parents will naturally be curious if I get a parcel and it will only make them more suspicious if I tell them it's "nothing". Although they are really cute and I would love one. In fact, I've already picked out my favourite.
  9. Hi! I'm fairly new to the whole AB/DL thing - although I have fantasized about it for a long time, I've never actually indulged in any physical side of it. Mainly because I've never had the privacy. I did move to university accommodation in September but had to come back home due to medical reasons so now I'm stuck here for the time being, with people breathing down my neck and no lock on my door lol. Anyway ... my parents will be out of the house for a weekend in April, meaning I will finally be free try some things out without the risk of being walked in on. I am hoping to do it as cheaply as possible since I don't even know whether I will like it yet, so I was thinking of getting a bottle and a dummy from the pound shop in town, just to try it out. However, I haven't had a dummy in my mouth since I was 2 years old, so I'm kind of worried that a baby dummy will be waaaay too small and hard work to even keep in. And where's the fun in that? I have seen that website that sells adult-sized pacifiers, but that would involve shipping, more money, and the risk of the package being opened by somebody other than me. OK, this post is getting really long now lol. But basically I wanted to ask, is it even worth getting a baby dummy? Is it physically possible to use one when you have a adult-sized mouth or will it fall out? Thanks!
