"What Are You Wearing 3, ....NO SISSY WEAR" Perhaps the Sissies have their own place to post? Is anyone else amused that a group of adults in diapers is being exclusive? I get a snicker out of it, but I can't judge anyone either... I'm typing this while wearing a T shirt and cotton diaper with plastic pants.

Thanks to everybody for your helpful advice! The diapers arrived a few days ago. After having a chance to wash the preservative/sizing off of the fabric I've had a chance to try them out. They're comfortable, absorbent, and I've been pretty happy with them. The extra laundry is worth it.

The Discovery Trekking Swim Diaper advertised on XP Medical looks like it would be a good choice, its lined with a thin layer of fleece. From reading the description it would need some sort of stuffing material for anything more than very light wetting. -Graypup

For those of you knowledgable about cloth, perhaps you can lend your expertise... I'm wearing disposables now, but recently I've decided to venture down the cloth diaper route. Shortly I expect a shipment of a few birdeye weave prefolds and a couple pairs of plastic pants, only to realize I have no experience wearing or maintaining cloth diapers (Of the two, I suspect the latter to be more challenging). I've read brand new ones need to be washed before wearing for maximum absorbancy, and used ones should be stored in a pail of water prior to washing. Any further information or tips you care to share would be appreciated. I've been a reader of the website for quite a while- it looks like most people are wearing disposbles, but I've also noticed a few in cloth. Thanks in advance- Graypup
