The large MegaMax is really big on me, and the XL is huge. MegaMax's are cut more generously than most of the products out there.

The Megamax XL size does not fit me well at all.  Its too big.  I actually had to drop down to larges in order to get a proper fit....

They are great diapers.  I'm really impressed by how well they are put together...

  2. Hey Drummerboy27....I'm a big guy too tipping the scales at over 370 lbs.  I can wear most XL diapers out there.  That said...I wear the Abena L4's a lot of the time.  Now this is going to sound silly....but it works for me.  I can't put a diaper on in the usual way by lying down and taping it on.  I have to pre-assemble the diaper and then pull it on like a pull up.  Sounds weird but it works for me....and no...the tapes don't pop off when I'm pulling it on.  The trick is that the diaper has to stay BELOW the belly.

Anyway....one diaper that has the strongest tapes are NorthShore Megamax.  Those tapes hold on tight.  To the point that I find them difficult to take off.  Another brand that holds on great is InControl Original and InControl Essentials.  These are medical type diapers but they perform very well.

The only diapers that I struggle with are the ones with the hook and loop type fasteners.  they just don't stay attached when I'm pulling them up and my big ol belly gets in the way if I try to re-tape them.

As far as ABDL diapers I've tried.....most diapers from Rearz that have tapes.  Most diapers from ABU with tapes.  Two tape diapers from both Rearz and ABU work well.  In fact....I've yet to find a plastic backed diaper with tapes that I cannot make fit.

As Crinklz mentioned it's best to get samples to see what really works for you.  I recommend trying my method.  Just go slow when you pull them up and have some fun.

  3. I have a few packs of Drylife diapers and ID Expert diapers that I bought off of Rearz a couple of years ago.  Both brands are excellent medical type diapers that I would buy more of if I could get them at a reasonable price.  I think the ID brand went exclusively cloth backed...which is too bad but that's the way things go sometimes.

I did buy a bag of Pride diapers from the Dotty Diaper Company but those are just for collecting...not wearing.

  4. The first ever 'Adult' diaper I ever worn was Attends.  I didn't even realise they made adult diapers so when I first found them in a local pharmacy I was in heaven.  The first ABDL diaper I ever worn was the original Bambino baby print diaper...which was awesome.

Nowadays we have so many great choices for diapers.  I try to get my hands on most of them...even just to try them out.

  5. What would constitute 'treatment'?  I'm not sick or otherwise unhealthy so 'treatment' would be wasted on me.  Now...if this lifestyle is encompassing everything that makes you 'you' then perhaps a discussion with a mental health professional might be in order....but that could be said about damn near everything these days.

People often have knee-jerk reactions to AB/DL's anyway.  They don't understand what this lifestyle is all about and base their judgements on their own biases.  We are living in a very polarizing period of time right now so all I can do is turn off all the noise and do what makes me comfortable.....and that's wearing diapers.

  6. Fortunately there have been some pretty decent diaper sales on recently which has allowed me to stock up quite significantly.  I guess I'm fortunate enough that I really like the Abena L4 plastic backed diapers which I can get for a reasonable price off Amazon.  I've also taken advantage of Rearz and InControl diaper sales and bought a few cases of those lately.

Honestly....if all I could afford were cloth diapers I'd likely give up the lifestyle.  No desire to ever wear cloth at all....

  7. I managed to get some of these diapers a couple of years ago.  I still have a few bags left.  They are really good diapers.  I put them on par with ID Slip Maxi diapers.  I actually like them more than the MegaMax diapers as they seem to fit me much better than those.  The MegaMax is a great diaper...don't get me wrong but I still like the Drylife more.
