    I went to Orlando once on a trip in high school but I know for a fact I didn’t experience anything culturally authentic. I’ve visited Puerto Rico and that’s the experience this chapter reminded me of.

    Wow. Just wow. I think that grocery store scene is magic. I was transported, man. The sounds, the smells, the organized chaos, down to the balmy spicy heat of what I imagine parts of Florida feel like. There’s so much realism it just smacks you in the face. So you drew me in and then you crushed me. That post-nap scene is devastating. Poor Paul! Not how I was expecting Amber to first see his little side. But she certainly gets it now, doesn’t she? I really appreciate what you’re doing here. I feel like I’m being guided through a curated museum of elevated diaper story tropes. I find myself wondering which one you’re going to do next, how you’re going to rewrite it to make it feel actually plausible and have a deep emotional impact. Heck of a Sunday morning, man. I need a warning before you blow my mind with something like this. What a trip. Can’t wait to continue the tale. lol! I saw this after my post. Didn’t mean to copy you. Just felt the same.

    Bahahaha!!!! Bye Harley!!! Ya done!!!! Ya gone!!!! Time for a real Big to give Paul the safety and security he needs. Gloating aside, I’m hanging all my hopes on Savannah and I really, really, really want her to live up to my expectations…but, like, also I know there has to be character growth and “enhancing the drama” so maybe she won’t be the one or maybe she’ll screw up too. But PLEASE!!!!?! I just want one caregiver with their heart in the right place and their poop in a group at the same time!!! Uhg! Soooo….you got any more of those updates? …Cuz I already need my next fix…lol (No pressure, tho, because I feel very lucky and appreciative to get this content, just expressing my enthusiasm).

    Yeah that’s a good point too. And he’s too vulnerable and insecure to protect himself. I keep hoping someone’s going to show up and actually notice what’s happening with Harley. Amber’s reaction to her looked promising, but then Martina kind of buried it by essentially telling her to “follow the treatment plan.” And Amber is also getting lost on her own hang-ups. I’m hanging my hat on Savannah, but that’s no guarantee, either. Bryan and Lilly are too stuck in their own bs. Uhg…poor Paul. All the people that should be protecting him are kind of self-centered.

    Harley thinks she knows who Paul is. She thinks he is a toddler and everything else is just him “pretending” to be big. Like I said in a previous comment, she’s like an Amazon from the diaper dimension stories. All she sees, all she wants from Paul, is for him to be little for her. Her ego is wrapped up in getting him to regress. She doesn’t care if she makes him feel uncomfortable or embarrasses him. Uhg, I do not like her. I think the way she’s written is fantastic. For me, her presence in this story is a reminder of why respect and boundaries (and respect for boundaries) are so important in the cg/l dynamic. She does give Paul the care he needs as a little, which is why everyone in the story seems to overlook the red flags, but she doesn’t seem to care about his emotional wellbeing or using the power and trust she’s been given responsibly. Really can’t wait for Savannah (or Kim) to bring the smackdown on Harley. I get Amber’s reaction. She’s the vanilla girl (since I’m talking tropes). She just needs to see one of Paul’s breakdowns and how the regression helps and she’ll be on board. Paul’s had weeks to come to grips with his condition, she’s had one night. Wonderful as always. Can’t wait for the next drop.

    You just really know how to keep the drama rolling. And every time I think I’m getting a handle on the dynamics between your characters you introduce something new and it throws me off (i.e. Marcus/Amber/Paul). It’s unpredictable and so refreshing.     First of all, Mommy Lilly! Adorbs. So much more natural a title than step-mommy. Second, I’m totally creeped out by Harley. Starting with her stalking/blackmail. Now she’s overfamiliar and it gives me the icks. She feels predatory (Maneater, right?). Paul is so vulnerable, as any 17 year old getting attention from the opposite sex would be, while also going through a deeply emotional problem. Where Savannah kinda flirted to get Paul to do things that were in his best interest, I get the feeling that Harley wants to use him. She knows exactly how to get him wrapped around her finger, and she checks all the boxes with Lilly, but for what purpose? Then again, maybe she is just trying to hustle and get a job with a famous influencer to build her own credibility and earn money. Maybe doing good business is her only intention? She seems like she is going to be very good at regressing Paul…Uhg! I don’t know! But I am suspicious!

    The juxtaposition of Amber moving forward while Paul moves back, that’s a good little device there, especially since they grew up together. I’m not so sure their story is all wrapped up, considering the concern Amber seemed to have about how to support Paul. I imagine she may still end up in a caregiver role, maybe just as big sis though, like what Paul saw in his dream. Someone needs to have his back at school, after all. Lol! Theories are fun! Looking forward to next weekend!

    Dude. This story is shaping up to be one of my favs. You’re putting into words a lot of things I really relate to but just haven’t ever articulated for myself. I’m really touched by Bryan’s reaction to all of it too. And the pace you’re putting this out is really admirable. I am really enjoying the heck out of this story. Thank you so much!
