Devil's Advocate Mode: Scat is not illegal in the United States. There are no federal laws banning any such thing. There are community laws prohibiting scat, but nothing federal. The problem is that no matter where in the US you live, you can be held liable in another jurisdiction if your content is distributed there. Since the internet is global, that counts. That being said, if scat were not removed from the site, DD could be held responsible and charged with any number of obscenity charges. He would be forced to defend himself in whatever state they decided to charge him. Also, a lot of people don't really know the definition of scat. A dirty diaper is not scat unless it is pulled back and the contents revealed. At one point, Scat was defined as defecation in relation to sexual activities. The definition has since been loosened and expanded.

What I see an adult baby is already defined in the term. It is an adult, who at times in their life, choses to live as a functioning member of society and fulfill his/her adult needs. At other times, they choose to regress to that of a specific or general age range, may chose to wear diapers, eat baby food, and embrass all the trappings of babyhood. That balance, in my opinion, is required in life, be it from a AB or a DL or any of the stereotypical fetish labels. I think, that everyone, at sometime in their life, regress to an earlier age range and trappings as a means of relaxation and regeneration, and without that, they couldn't function within the forced trappings of adulthood.

Rasing the age limit is kindof defeatist - if people are lying about their age stating that they are over 18, it is just as easy to lie about being over 21. Secondly, this will also remove some decent 18 - 21 ab/dls that are here also. Re SCAT - I don't think the legality of such should be in question. If you prefer it not on this site, DD, simply remove it. For those who are offended / repulsed by scat - the choice is simple - don't watch/participate in it - but ACCEPT it as part of another persons free choice.

Moderation on scat? Maybe. Raising the age from 18 to 21? Stupid. 18 years old is the legal "of age" age for everything except drinking in the USA, at least that I know of. Also - people are going to lie about their age. What makes you think that even if DailyDi implemented a "21+ only" rule (which is again, in my opinion, stupid), that that would change? There would still be minors trying to join. ~ moogle

I could care less about scat but raising the age for what purpose? I waited a long time to be here i'm not waiting another two year to be able to come back and talk with people with the same interests as me. You know how hard it is for me to find a site that I enjoy being on with others? It's hard and it's very rare to find good communities.

You intermixed 2 points into this discussion, one being that people claim no-one can quit diapers and the other that people with diaper obsessions need to and can control their obsessions. There is a huge variety of people involved in this community, from people that wear a diaper once every few months to people that wear everyday, some for medical reasons, others for sexual pleasure and others just for comfort. Someone that doesn't wear for medical reasons and only wears occasionally will probably have a better chance giving up diapers if they so choose, but really, why should they? Such an occasional indulgence in something that makes them feel good and doesn't harm anyone, isn't bad for anyone. If someone wants to give up diapers for whatever reason, all the power to them, but I'm of the belief that there is something very deep and ingrained into us that drives us to this desire or why would we keep coming back to it? There are many people on these boards that wear diapers day in day out for non-medical reasons, they hold full time jobs, pay the bills and have a social life. Some of them are even very open with their friends and family that they wear diapers for comfort/pleasure, for them it's choice of the more comfortable underwear (and not having to use public washrooms... ick). An it harm none do what ye will If you aren't harming anyone, and that includes yourself, enjoy and diaper wearing is not harmful compared to other things people could be doing (alcohol, drugs, crime, self-harm...) As other have said, over and over and over all over these boards if your love of diapers is controlling your life and you're not socializing with others, not going to work or have lost your job because of it then you need to work on controlling it, maybe with the help of a medical professional. But that really goes for anything that you take overboard that affects your life you could say the exact same thing for World of Warcraft players that play all day and night and ignore their friends, family, never leave the house, don't go out and find a job or lost an existing one. *huggles* Michelle

That sucks, but you brought it upon yourself. I'm guessing next time you'll be up-front about it, and not have to come out the hard way. Do yourself a favor and just move out. You don't deserve to be treated like a baby, even if you want to be. Both of you are going to need some space.

well the reason i say move the age limit up is that unfortunately there are a few cases were people have lied in the past about there age i remember a few cases were this has happened and really if you think about it it would make people wait i mean 18 is the legal age limit of consent for most states but as regards to the scat DailyDi is only one person and i figure at least maybe with my self and a few others we can stop the scat videos on the site ... so this way while DailyDi is busy we can help clean the site as it is .....

Throughout some of the topics on here I've seen many people claim that no one can ever give up diapers but that is not true. That is like saying that a drug addict could never quit their drugs or a smoker could never stop. It is all about how much control a person has, if one cannot quit something that they truly desire then it is that they do not possess enough strength to do so. An Alcholic could say the EXACT same thing yet there are people that learn how to control it. For example, Alcohol isn't a bad thing but it is something that needs to be controlled. Just like a fetish, a diaper fetish is not a bad thing but it NEEDS to be controlled otherwise it becomes a BAD THING. A diaper fetish is no different than someone having a foot fetish but if a diaper fetish becomes an obsession and takes over a person's life, that is when they need to seek psychological help for it. It is INDEED POSSIBLE to quit anything in life, most members on here would be amazed at how much a person can do and control & limit. I have enough control to the point where love comes first before diapers in a relationship. If I can have that and live without diapers if I'm in love, then others can too. When diaper fetishes control people's relationships and lives it becomes an obsession; that is where it crosses the line. I love LOVE diapers but diapers for me is fun and a kink that makes things so much more fun; but diapers do not run my life or my relationships.

this is mainly to DailyDi but i say we need a person to monitor the videos that come in if you look at the new ones just added 3 of them are scat videos.This being said since scat is illegal in the U.S.A why not have a moderator on the video site to delete them as they come in i can do it some my self but im sick of seeing these videos on the site .For those that don't know what SCAT is its poop videos and its illegal in the USA and since this site is hosted in the USA i figure we need to clean this up and also just a thought why not propose we raise the join age of this site from 18 to 21? I mean this way we know who is coming is who they say they are ...... also i would like every one else to voice there opinion on the scat issue and help clean up the videos on the site... PEOPLE WHO LIKE THE SCAT VIDEOS NEED NOT POST HERE OR I WILL GET THIS THREAD LOCKED LIKE I DID MY LAST ONE
