This last Tues (5/7) I was scheduled for a colonoscopy.

I had that done a year or so ago.

I went through this too. I did make way too many trips to the toilet, and did have a few close calls where I though I wouldn't make it. Plus one other time when I wasn't close to a toilet and knew there would be no way other than using my diaper right then & there. You can't trust it's a fart either, because they never are.

I've had a few people say they would never go thru that procedure, because of the prep needed. Well I've had two friends die slowly of colon cancer because they DIDN'T have the procedure in time.... Trust me, the procedure is well worth doing.

Agreed, and sorry if I was scaring anyone off from getting one. I'd rather be uncomfortable for a day or two than dead the rest of my life. Quite frankly, so should anyone else looking at getting one done too.

I have had very good experiences with colonoscopies. The enema was gentle, the office well heated, I enjoyed being near-naked in front of the nurses and having them manipulate my privates. No cramping, no drugs I had to take the day before.
