Having Trouble Changing Avatars

I've been trying to change my avatar and I seem to be unable to do so. The pic I want to use is on my computer, I checked to make sure it was 90 x 90 pixels and it is less than 50k in size. I tried to upload it but after clicking save settings nothing happens. I even tried deleting my old avatar, saving then uploading the new one, but when I click save settings again my old avatar is back. Any suggestions?

I had this problem, what I did was try one from some webspace, then uploaded my current one, seemed to work. Annoying problem. Have you tried signing out then back in?

Okay I fixed it by uploading the image to a file hosting website. There must be a glitch involving the process uploading directly to this site; even after signing out, changing the avatar to a webhosted pic then trying to upload the file from my computer it still reverted back to the original avatar.

Hmmm weird, worked for me but dunno why, I did change my avatar again after a few days (didn't want certain pics on my personal webspace)
