LL Medico Diapers and More Bambino Diapers - ABDL Diaper Store

Made In China...

Recommended Posts

I know a lot of stuff these days is made in China and, frankly, if you order enough of it pretty much anything can be manufactured, but I was still surprised at the range of "printed adult diapers" available on the business-to-business trade sites.

Note - you might find some you recognise, I came across the MediSave range and the "Buntewindel Fabine Safety Plus" on one companies page - presumably they are the actual manufacturer/factory who produce them.

Here is a pic of just a few of them from Alibaba:

EDIT: Just to be clear: Alibaba is a business to business trade site - realistically the minimum volumes they are talking about are 25,000 units upwards (in fact, many state minimum orders of 50,000 to 200,000). Unless you really want more than 5000 packs of diapers, you probably shouldn't be talking with the suppliers listed there. The reason for this post was simply to point out what I'd seen there - there is a surprising range of diversity.

I thought this one looked pretty cool too:

You need to be careful when ordering from alibaba, China has export controls that prohibit export of branded goods with out permission from the IP owners, OEMs and sub contractors often offer products they've been contracted to make to third party buyers but it is illegal and your shipment could be impounded, always deal with a HK based agent when ordering from China, it will cost you 10% extra but you get real security dealing with HK agents that is not possible on the mainland.

If you just want to get small quantities it's probably not worth going through the hassle of dealing with these people, Chinese talk about quality and say they have top quality product because it looks like the originals but it is rarely the same. I have some experience in buying clothing from China in bulk and I assure you that it is not as easy as amazon or ebay, there are plenty of scammers and little recourse in the event of a failure. Don't believe anyone who offers great prices for small quantities, you need to be ordering thousands, probably tens of thousands of units with diapers to get a decent price. Go talk to an import agent in your country, find out about taxes and regulations if you are serious and do your homework.

Mworth - all good stuff.

For what its worth, I wasn't planning on buying anything from there - simply pointing out I was surprised at the range and diversity I found.

In case others don't know, Alibaba is a business to business trade site - realistically the minimum volumes they are talking about are 25,000 units upwards (in fact, many state minimum orders of 50,000 to 200,000). Unless you really want more than 5000 packs of diapers, you probably shouldn't be talking with the suppliers listed there (well, small prototyping runs etc. excepted - but for that you really should fly out there and work face-to-face with them). Of course, Mworth's post is certainly worth paying attention to as well.

EDIT: I've edited my original post to make the point of Alibaba being a trade site clear.
