From College to Diapers (private with littleben)

He eats his crackies and drinks half the bottle. Then he gives it back. 

"Mommy, what I do now?"

"well it looks like the boys are playing a game on their switch. 

Maybe you could play blocks or watch a show on your tablet?"

"I wanna pway bwocks"

She reaches back and pours the blocks on his tray

He makes big towers with his blocks that snap together.

He plays for a long while by himself, then eventually falls asleep.

Daniel drives on for about 30 minutes. 

Then the traffic starts to slow down a little, but he keeps moving along slowly.

Megan thinks they should stop for lunch soon, but there aren't any exits for a while.

Benny has a happy dream in his car seat. He thinks he's in real life.

He settles down and poops his diaper in his dream, but he doesn't realize that he's doing it in real life too.

He sleeps through the whole thing.

The smell quickly makes it's way throughout the car. 

 

Daniel jokingly asks:

"Alright Boys, who cut one?"

 

Sam pulls back the baby's diaper to check and confirms: "It's Benny, he pooped"

 

Over the next couple minutes traffic slows to a stop. They roll down the windows to get rid of the smell.

Mommy: "There aren't any exits for miles, and now we're stopped. We can't leave him. Pull over on the side and I can change him. He's probably done going by now"

Daniel complies and pulls over to the side of the road

 

 

 

 

 

Ben's reply got deleted somehow, but he caught it and sent it to me. 

So this is what Benny says so you can have the whole story:

Benny feels the motion of the car stop, and it wakes him up. He feels the sensation of the poop pressed up against his bottom. 

He doesn't like the sensation and is cranky from waking up in the middle of his nap, so he starts to cry. Just like a baby would.

Daddy tries to comfort Benny:

"It's alright, buddy. We're gonna get that diapee changed. And then you can go back to sleep"

They're stopped on the side of the road now. 

Daddy gets the diaper bag from where Mommy is sitting

"I'll take care of it, honey"

 

He unstraps Benny from his car seat. And takes his hand.

He goes with Daddy. 

He's still crying a little because it's still coming out. But he feels better because the poop isn't pressed up against him, so he calms down.

Daddy picks him up to comfort him. He walks around with him for a moment. 

He comes to the back of the car and opens the hatch. He moves the suitcases around, and makes a space where he can spread a changing pad.

He spreads out the changing pad with one hand. And lays Benny down. 

 

"Alright, Buddy. What's Daddy gonna do now?"

He gets his supplies ready. He wants to make him talk so he won't cry anymore. He tickles him too.

"Daddy gonna take Benny stinky diapee off and give me a new one. Me can help"

 

He giggles now at Daddy's tickles. No more tears.

"You sure can help, Buddy. I have a big important task for you: I want you to hold this wipe for me. Here's one for each hand"

Daddy gives him two wipes. To keep him busy with while he does the change.

 

He untapes the diaper. This is a pretty extensive job since he was sitting in it.

He lifts baby Benny's legs. 

Then he uses the front of the diaper to start wiping him.

 

Traffic starts moving a little, so anyone driving by would have a full partial view of Benny getting his diaper changed. In fact, he left the car with no shorts and doesn't seem embarrassed because he's a baby.

Benny gets happy and into his own little world. He starts flapping the wipes around and smiling.

Daddy has wiped as far as he can with the diaper and needs the wipes to proceed with the detailed wiping. 

 

"Are you having fun, Buddy?

Can I have one of those wipes, please?"

 

Daddy says. He smiles at Benny. He looks like a happy baby again.

He gives Daddy a wipe

"Yes, I having fun, Dada"

he says Dada a few times after that because he likes the way it sounds

 

He flaps the one hand with the wipe in it, but then he puts the other wipe down for Daddy so he can flap both hands

Daddy wipes Benny, thoroughly front and back. 

Mommy comes around to check on them, because Benny was crying earlier.

"How are my boys? How's he doing, Daddy?"

 

And Daniel says:

"We're fine. Benny's helping me.

I'm done wiping him. He's a happy baby again. I just need to get his new diaper on"

"Mommy, guess what?

I made a poop in my shorts, and now Daddy changing me. 

I was sweeping and I made a poop in my dweam, but me do poopy for real. 

Can I have baba of Mommy milk? I hungwy"

 

He gives his big update with a smile. He just made room for more.

"Oh, you did?

Honey that's great"

She knew it all, but she pretends this is all new information to her. 

 

"It's a good thing you used your diaper, there's no potty out here for us big people. 

Sweetie, I don't know if you remember, but we did your very first diaper change back here in the back of my car. We were out for pizza and you wet in your pamper. And now, you love your diapers, don't you?"

She takes the messy bundle and puts it in a smell proof bag. She bundles it up twice, and ties it up.

 

"Yes, I'll give you your bottle when we get back in the car. You sure must be a growing boy. You eat all the time"

Daddy powders him well, and tapes the new diaper on

 

"Come on, Sweetie. I'll put you back in your chair while Daddy cleans up" she takes him by the hand and helps him up, and starts waking him back to the his seat.

"Yes, Mommy, I 'member when you chwange Benny pamper. I wike dees diapees. Da potty was scawy and lowd.

 

I want to gets more pizza wiff Mommy and Daddy at our store when we gets home"

 

More memories of his time Mommy and Daddy come back. 

He walks with Mommy to the front of the car.

Mommy straps Benny back in his car seat.

"We will go to our special pizza place sometime when we get back"

 

The big boys get back in the car from stretching their legs and getting some fresh air. 

Daddy cleaned up in the back and sanitized his hands. He gets back into the drivers seat.

 

"Okay, I think we're ready to go"

Daddy says. He takes off driving again. They have more road ahead of them

"Mommy do I gets da milky baba or apple juice?"

He asks

She gives him the rest of the bottle of milk. 

The big boys go back to their switch game.

He drinks the rest of his bottle.

 

Then he says to Sam

"Me wanna play dat game we was pwaying at da beech. Me, pway, please"

The boys set up Mario kart and give Benny a controller. They play again while riding down the road.
