Dating advice - Non-ABDL included

Hi all,

I've really enjoyed my time on the forums so far. This community seems so friendly and supportive of all its members. I wanted to ask you all about advice for getting into dating, for both vanilla and ABDL related.

I'm 28 years old, good qualifications and a decent job. I currently live with my sibling in a moderately sized UK town. I've had no real success with dating, which is down to several factors. One is that I was always extremely nervous to talk to girls in my youth, and still aren't 100% sure on how best to be flirty and appear attractive to the opposite sex. This has caused me to develop crushes on friends who are girls, but not act on them and lose the opportunity to find out the answer. I did tell one girl last year how I felt about them, knowing they were already with someone, because I knew it would help me move on if they knew. 

My second issue is my supplementing of not approaching women which is, you guessed it, stuff you can view on the internet. I was never much into traditional porn, more like ABDL related stuff from Tumblr and making my own edits of celebs wearing nappies. Though the making of edits is a creative outlet and one that I enjoy, I worry I will become too fixated on them and life will just pass me by. Again, I am trying to manage limiting my time "enjoying myself" to these activities.

I'd love to grow in confidence and meet a partner who I click with. ABDL isn't a deal-breaker in that regard. I've never told anyone about my kink. I'd like to connect with them as person, because only then would I even consider telling them about my kink. I've booked a couple of speed dating events for next month to help get me started.

ABDL community, I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this and hope this wasn't too much of a strain to read!
