LtlGary Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 I've been sitting on my bed in my Megamax working on my laptop. My fantasy story is over 50k words. I've had more time to work on it since I'm unemployed. I've been helping out tons at home as my parents are elderly but I really don't want to go back to work. I was treated poorly at my last job and it soured my desire to work. I just want someone to take care of me. Sorry for the rant but it has been a wild last couple of months for me.
Crinklz Kat Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 I completely understand that. Was in a similar situation a few years back and seriously thought about just "retiring" then. Glad I didn't because there's no way my finances could ever have held out. But I got well over 4 months "vacation" before I went back to work. Took nearly 2 of those months for me to unwind and regenerate. 1
LtlGary Posted July 10, 2022 Author Posted July 10, 2022 For me it's been 10 months. My body healed in 2-3 months, and then I've been stuck in my current funk since. At least the stupid job recruiters stopped calling. Been thinking about setting up a Patreon account but I haven't made up my mind in the future.
