Chapter One:

The sky started to lighten as dawn’s first light stretches toward the horizon. Typhoon, the young hero of Triton City was perched atop the tallest skyscraper in the city. He listened to the police scanner that he’d stashed up here. He had been waiting all night, but hadn’t heard what he’d been hoping for. Standing atop this skyscraper was his favorite spot, because from here, Typhoon could easily glide to wherever trouble was. His control over weather allowed him to do what others couldn’t; stop the villains of Triton City. He could create gusts of wind powerful enough to erode stone, summon powerful rainstorms, and call down lightning from the sky, among other things. Typhoon had begun his hero work several years prior. A freak accident had given him his powers. And after only a few years, most of the city’s worst villains had been locked up. Typhoon had become a legend in the city almost overnight, and became the beacon of hope that the city so desperately needed. His feats were legendary: he was the only person to ever stand up to Mega-Colossus-man and live, he pulled two-hundred people out of a falling airplane as it fell to earth, and many other incredible acts. Now, he was waiting to hear of any activity from a new foe, a man known only as Sap-man, whose crimes had made him notorious. Unfortunately, tonight, the scanner was mostly silent. The only things that were coming in were run-of-the-mill disturbances, nothing that needed Typhoon’s help. The hero sighed, disappointed at his bad luck. He sat down, his feet dangling off the side of the skyscraper.

“Well, I guess I could have some breakfast.” He said to himself.

He reached behind him to where he had stuffed his backpack. Inside were his normal clothes, his phone, keys, and everything else he needed to return to his average citizen persona. Typhoon started to strip out of his skin-tight super-suit. At first, he had been hesitant to wear something so revealing, but the suit had been custom made for him by his eccentric friend, Iggy. Iggy was a genius, whose inventions were paramount in Typhoon’s success as a hero. The suit included several useful features that always helped in a pinch. It was flame resistant, bulletproof, and most importantly, it hid his identity. The drawback of the suit was its color. Iggy was very flamboyant, and for whatever reason, would rarely make anything that wasn’t pink. The super suit was a soft, pastel pink with black and silver trim. Iggy and Typhoon had argued for a while about the design of the suit, and eventually came to an agreement. Iggy agreed to remove some of the more extreme things in the design, as long as he got it in pink. It was form fitted to Typhoon’s slim and muscular body, leaving very little to the imagination. The suit came all the way over his head, covering every inch of him. It also included a wingsuit that could be activated at a moments notice, which greatly increased his ability to glide. The suit had nearly as much to do with Typhoon’s success as his powers did, so he’d resigned himself to the color long ago. Unfortunately, the color led to the creation of an embarrassing nickname for the hero. The name was usually only used by his enemies, but Typhoon still hated it: The Super Sissy.

Since there was no sign of any action today, Typhoon stripped out of the suit. Another drawback of the tight suit was that he couldn’t wear any normal clothes underneath. The suit was powered in part by his body heat, which meant that underneath, he was naked, save for a pair of briefs. Typhoon kept a few bags with a change of clothes stashed throughout the city, in case he needed to quickly change back to normal. Each stash had a pair of jeans, socks, tennis shoes, and a plain white t-shirt. It was as average an outfit as he could think up. As he stuffed the super suit into the backpack and donned his normal clothes, Typhoon reverted to his normal self, the quiet, well-mannered college student known as Gale Greene.

Gale slung his backpack over his shoulder and walked to the rooftop entrance. For Gale, it was easy to blend in. He was average height, had a fair complexion, and short dark hair that let him blend in almost anywhere. The only thing that could make him stand out was his muscular body, but with the baggy jeans and t-shirt, even that was hidden. He quickly ran down a few flights of stairs, and then quietly walked into the hallway, making sure he wasn’t seen. One quick elevator ride later, and he was back on street level. Gale’s phone rang. It was Iggy. Gale stopped in front of a bus stop, waiting. He answered his phone.

“Hey Iggy, what’s up?” Gale said.

“Hey cutie-pie!” Iggy responded, his flamboyant voice cutting through the phone.

“C’mon Iggy, stop calling me stuff like that. We aren’t dating.” Gale responded, reminding him of that fact yet again.

“Oh, if only. I would definitely know what to do with that beautiful bubble-butt of yours, cutie-pie.” Iggy said.

“Stop. Iggy, seriously. I’ve told you a hundred times. And please, for the love of god, stop calling me cutie-pie all the time.” Gale said, annoyed. Gale appreciated Iggy, but sometimes, it was too much for him.

“Fine, how about I call you what those other guys do?”

“Don’t-“ Gale started, before being interrupted.

               “The Super Siss-“ Iggy began.

“DON’T.” Gale said, more firmly this time. Another person at the bus stop glanced up and made eye contact with Gale. He turned away and whispered angrily into the phone. “You don’t know who could be listening.”

“Oh, come on, I encrypted our phones ages ago.” Iggy said, as if it was obvious. “The only thing any NSA agent can hear right now is some serious hardcore gay porn.” Iggy laughed. Iggy had always had a hobby of trolling the government. He’d caused some serious trouble several times, but Iggy was too smart to ever get caught.

Gale laughed as well. “I should’ve guessed.”

“Yeah, so no worries. Anyways, I am calling because apparently, Sap-man was up to something last night.” Iggy said, more business-like.

“What?” Gale responded, surprised. “But the scanner didn’t say anything about it!”

“Well, that’s because nobody found out until this morning. He stole a sample of di-tritanium from the University of Triton City. It’s one of the strongest metals on earth, impervious to almost anything. Apparently, a professor had it sitting on his desk as some sort of knick-knack.”

“On his desk? Why wasn’t it at least locked away somewhere?” Gale asked, annoyed. He only had so many chances to catch Sap-man, and if the crimes didn’t get reported, there was no way for Gale to find out and stop it.

“That’s the strange part. It hadn’t been refined. It’s essentially useless in its current state. And there are only two places on earth with enough sustained heat generation to refine it. Honestly, I’m not sure what he would want with it. Right now, it’s just a useless rock. And it’s not even that much. Less than a kilogram.”

“Hmm… wait, how do they know it was Sap-man then?” Gale asked.

“Well, there was a campus janitor that heard noises and went to investigate. Sap-man took care of him the same way as the others that he’s encountered. Same symptoms as last time, like all of the strength was sapped from his body. He was stuck laying there for hours until the professor finally showed up this morning.” Iggy reported. “He’s in pretty bad condition at the hospital, but he should pull through.”

“So how did you find out about all this then?” Gale asked suspiciously.

“If you must know, I keep tabs on all the most fantastic things that the city has to offer. I’ve wanted to use di-tritanium in your suit for a while, but even I can’t refine it. I’d known that unrefined sample was there, but never bothered to take it, since it would be useless to me. Apparently, not for Sap-man though.”

“Well, thanks Iggy, but I gotta go. My bus is here. Gonna grab some breakfast now then I’ll take a quick nap and head to class.” Gale said, stepping onto the bus.

“Alright then see you later, cuti—." Gale hangs up the phone before Iggy can finish.

Gale stared out the window as the bus pulled away, determined to capture Sap-man.

That evening, Typhoon was back on the prowl. He was perched on an apartment building opposite the Westmount Museum. He was already in his suit, and had stashed away his change of clothes on the rooftop. Now it was simply time to wait. Typhoon watched the museum diligently, looking for any signs of his enemy. He was by the museum because they had a new exhibit that had just arrived. A collection of rare antiquities, worth untold amounts. It was just the kind of thing that any villainous figure would be interested in. Clouds started to roll in, obscuring the full moon. A heavy darkness fell over the city. Typhoon glanced up and raised his hand, concentrating momentarily. The clouds started to dissipate, revealing the moon again. He would need as much visibility as he could get tonight.

An hour passed. Then another. It seemed such a waste to spend all night camping out at a one place. Sap-man could appear anywhere, or not at all, but he didn’t have anything else to go on. This meant that old-fashioned stakeouts were his only option. Typhoon started to hum quietly to himself from his perch. The biggest issue that the young hero had about his super suit was that it did not lend itself to stakeouts. The bright pink color meant that he was very easy to spot. Thankfully, right now, the lip of the building gave him plenty to hide behind, and the suit did have a feature that allowed him to move around more stealthily. A color-shift mode could change his suit from pink to black. The drawback, Iggy had told him, was that it used up quite a bit of the suit’s power, and so it had to be used sparingly. So Typhoon had not activated it yet. The night was quiet, but around midnight, Typhoon finally caught a glimpse of someone suspicious. Someone had walked up to the front of the museum. The figure was just standing there, staring at the building. Typhoon was pretty far away, but he could tell that they were tall. They stood there for what seemed like an eternity, and then walked back down to the sidewalk and toward the corner of the building. Afraid that he would lose sight of the figure, Typhoon stood up and jumped off the building, activating the color-shift mode.

Using his powers, he formed a pocket of wind underneath him and started gliding above the road, trying to keep the person in sight. They were quick though, and walked around the side of the building. Typhoon flew above the building, but in the brief moment that he’d lost eyes on them, the person had vanished. There was no one there. The sidewalk was empty. No one across the street, and no cars either. Cursing his bad luck, Typhoon quickly dove down. He landed quietly on the pavement, and inspected the area where the man had been. He had only lost sight for a moment, so he could quickly narrow down the places that the man could’ve gone. As he saw it, there were two options: the sewer, or a staircase that led down to a basement door in the museum. Typhoon’s heart was pounding. Had the man really gone into the museum? This could be it. Typhoon took a deep breath and walked down the staircase. The building obscured the moon, so the steps were completely shrouded in darkness. As he reached the bottom step, Typhoon’s eyes adjusted.

At the bottom, a heavy metal door was lying on the ground, completely crumpled. Typhoon reached down and touched the metal. Typhoon was surprised. The door didn’t seem like metal at all! It was as if it were made of wet paper, bending easily against his touch. Typhoon was almost certain that this was the work of Sap-man. His senses heightened. Silently, he walked into the building. The only light illuminating the room was a green ‘exit’ sign, located right above the door he’d just entered from. All the other lights were off. The dusty basement was filled with strange crates and boxes. He could tell that the room was massive. It was an underground warehouse filled to the brim with unknown objects.

“This must be the storage room. I wonder what kind of things are in all these crates?” Typhoon thought to himself. He carefully made his way through the mazelike warehouse. The silence was deafening. Something was definitely not right here though. Typhoon had checked out the security before coming. This museum had several night shift security guards, and there was no sign of any sign of them. A green ‘STAIRS’ sign that stood out like a beacon in the darkness. Typhoon quietly made his way towards it. As he got closer, he could hear footsteps coming from above. Quickly he made his way up the stairs into the display rooms.

Typhoon entered the main hall. He glanced around and then saw them. Two motionless bodies were sprawled across the ground near the main entrance. Typhoon hurries over. Security. Bending down, the hero checked if they were still alive. Both had heartbeats. Typhoon sighed in relief.

“Iggy. Iggy, you there?” Typhoon said quietly. The suit had a built-in comms system that he could use to contact Iggy in case of emergency.

Iggy’s voice came through the comms. “Hey darli-Oh my GOD, Jessie! Why do you- ugh! Sorry hon, I’m just watching The Bachelorette. Jason really needs to get gone. He’s awful. I don’t know why Jess likes him so much. I mean, he doesn’t even have that good of a body. These muscle guys really don’t have a clue abou—”

“Iggy.” Typhoon interrupted. Iggy didn’t stop.

“—and he’s like, ‘oh, I was a wrestler’. Like, yeah, we get it, you like to grope other dudes, nothing special there. I did that yesterday, and do you see ME going around, acting all high and mighty! NO! Because I have a sense of prop—”

“IGGY!” Gale raised his voice a bit, causing a slight echo in the large, empty room. “I need you to—"

Now it was Iggy’s turn to interrupt. “What is it? And by the way, use the code name please, hon.” Iggy replied.

“Fine.” Typhoon gritted his teeth. “Unicorn, come in.”

“Unicorn here, what can I do for you?” Came Iggy’s self-satisfied reply.

“I need you to contact the authorities. It’s Sap-man. He’s at the museum. There are two guards just inside the main entrance that need medical attention right away. Probably more injured deeper inside. I think there were supposed to be three on the shift tonight. Tell them I’m on the case and not to use sirens, understand? I don’t want them alerting Sap-man before I can get him.”

“Will do.” Came the reply. Iggy was much more serious now. Iggy goofed around a lot, but when it came to this stuff, there was no one else that Typhoon would rather have.

“And keep the comms open. I don’t know what might happen.”

“I can, but you should know, that building is a nightmare for these comms. I swear, the walls are made of lead. You said you were at the entrance? That’s probably the only reason I can hear you at all.”

“Fine. Just get the police here quietly.” Typhoon replied.

Typhoon turned around and walked back into the museum. Sap-man would still be here. He had to be.

Walking further in, he found another guard leaning up against a wall near the entrance to the main exhibit. This one looked better than the other two. He was breathing heavily, still conscious. He was clearly in pain though. His eyes were closed and he was clutching his chest painfully. Typhoon leaned down next to the guard, gently touching his shoulder. The guard let out a gasp his eyes bulged open fearfully, then relief washed over him as he recognized the hero. Quickly, Typhoon covered the guard’s mouth and motioned for him to stay quiet. Typhoon looked up and listened for a moment, hoping the sudden sound hadn’t alerted the invader. Typhoon confirmed no new sounds. He let his hand off of the guard’s mouth, who seemed to have calmed down a bit, though was still breathing heavily.

“What happened?” Typhoon asked, in a whisper.

The guard was able to speak coherently. “That man. He just walked in. I yelled, pulled my stun-gun, but he didn’t stop. I shot it at him with it. When it hit him it did nothing. There was a flash of light, and all of a sudden, I just collapsed!” He explained quickly and quietly. The guard raised his hand, which was shaking violently. “It’s like my muscles don’t work anymore!” He sobbed.

“That’s Sap-man.” Typhoon said solemnly. “You should count yourself lucky that you can even raise your hand right now. Sap-man is a strength stealer. Don’t worry, ambulances are on the way. Now, do you know where he’s headed? Did he already steal something?”

“I don’t know, I couldn’t tell. He must be heading to the main exhibit though. The Jade Princess Idol, it only just arrived.”

“Thanks. You’ve been a great help. Now, let me go catch this guy. Stay here and stay quiet. Just pretend you are still unconscious or something. I already called the authorities, so they should be arriving soon. Don’t worry, everything will be fine.” The hero pats the man on the shoulder and then walks away, following signs for the main exhibit.

“Unicorn, come in. Unicorn, did you get all that?” Typhoon spoke into the comms. No reply. “Hm.. Guess I’m on my own.”

Typhoon arrived outside the main exhibit. The doors were open, but there were no sounds coming from inside. He took a deep breath, summoned wind at his fingertips, then hurried in, ready for a fight. But when he got there, the Jade Idol was still there, sitting in a glass case in the center of the room. Typhoon glanced all around.

“Oh, well hello.” Sap-man’s deep voice fills the room. Typhoon turned and saw him standing in the corner. Typhoon felt fear. This man was a giant. He was at least 6’5” (2 meters), and his shoulders were broad. He was wearing a pair of tattered, dark-green army pants, a dark shirt, with an aviator jacket. He wore huge black boots, and had a pair of goggles obscuring his eyes. Over his left hand was a black glove, with orange, glowing stripes leading down the fingertips. He took a few relaxed steps towards Typhoon.

“You are caught! Surrender yourself!” Typhoon demanded, raising his hands threateningly.

“Hm… no thank you.” Sap-man responded, shrugging nonchalantly.

“That wasn’t a question.” Typhoon said.

“I’m sorry, my boy.” Sap-man began. His voice was sympathetic, relaxed, and kind. “You won’t like what happens next.” Typhoon took his chance, summoning lightning at his fingertips. The electricity jumped from finger to finger, building power in an instant. He shot his arm up at the man and let the electricity beam out. As soon as the electricity left his hand though, Sap-man darted to one side, dodging it completely. The lightning explodes into the wall behind them.

Sap-man jumped forward and kicked at Typhoon’s chest. Typhoon summoned a gust of wind around his body, softening the blow. Still, Typhoon is launched backward, back out into the hall. Typhoon landed on his feet, wincing. He stood strong, blasing gusts of wind at Sap-man. Sap-man dodged and weaved, moving incredibly quickly for someone of his immense size. Sap-man wove his way past Typhoon, heading back towards the main hall. Suddenly Typhoon heard something. He glanced away for a moment, listening. In the distance, Typhoon heard sirens. He sighed. They were supposed to come quietly. Cops would only hinder Typhoon against someone as strong as Sap-man. He looked back down only to see Sap-man rounding the corner, disappearing from sight.

“Surrender now, Sap-man!” Typhoon said confidently, giving chase. He summoned wind behind him to move faster. He barreled around the corner. Suddenly, Sap-man’s gloved hand appeared, grabbing at Typhoon’s face. Energy crackled from it. Typhoon barely bent back in time to avoid the grab. He ducked under the glove, and launched himself into Sap-man’s legs. Sap-man spun around in the air a his legs were pushed from under him. He landed on his back, gasping painfully. Typhoon whips around and jumps on top of Sap-man. He summoned lightning at his fingers, pointing them directly as Sap-man’s neck.

“Don’t move!” Typhoon yelled, straddling the massive man tightly, his muscular legs wrapped around Sap-man’s thick waist. Sap-man laughed at the suggestive position that Typhoon had taken.

“I’m flattered, truly. But unfortunately, I’ve got places to be.” He said threateningly. A burst of light roared from Sap-man’s glove, sinking into the marble floor beneath them. In an instant, the floor to turned to liquid, and the two men fall through, directly into the storage area.

As they fall, Sap-man grabbed the hero’s wrist and twisted him around, using Typhoon to break his fall. They landed hard, and Sap-man’s knee crushed down onto Typhoon’s back. All of the air was knocked from Typhoon’s lungs, and he heard a crack sound from his ribs. He gasped painfully. Sap-man kept the knee pressing down on Typhoon’s back. He was pinned! Typhoon heard Sap-man’s glove crackle to life. Typhoon was being crushed into the floor. He had to get away! He couldn’t get hit by the glove!

Acting in fear, Typhoon summoned a gust of wind at his feet, pushing himself forward along the floor, out from underneath Sap-man. Typhoon managed to avoid the glove, but hadn’t looked where he was blasting himself. He barreled headfirst into a wooden crate. Typhoon’s skull broke through the wood, then hit something hard and metal. The crate exploded into a pile of packing material and splintered wood, revealing the thick metal object that Typhoon had just crashed into. Typhoon saw stars. He stood up slowly, wobbling on his feet. Each breath was a painful labor, his ears rang, and his vision was popping in and out.

Suddenly, Typhoon saw a fist barreling towards him. He had no time to react. It connected with his chest. Typhoon screamed in pain, then fell forward onto his hands and knees. He coughed blood. He looked up. Sap-man was standing directly in front of him, just looking down. Rage filled Typhoon up. He could not lose!

“I’m not done yet.” Typhoon said bravely. He pushed himself up onto one knee, nearly falling over as the world spun around.

“Yes. I’m afraid you are.” Sap-man said. Typhoon felt a hand around his neck. He was lifted off the ground entirely. Typhoon desperately tried to blast himself away with a gust of wind, but his consciousness was fading as he gasped for air. Typhoon was raised high into the air. Fear filled Typhoon as the glove crackled to life again. Was this the end? Typhoon feebly clawed at the hand around his neck. His feet kicked through the air, hitting nothing. Typhoon watched, gasping, as the glove made its way towards his abdomen.

“Don’t worry. I’m not going to kill you.” Sap-man said. His voice was still soft and deep. “This won’t even hurt.” Sap-man’s gloved hand slowly pressed onto Typhoon’s abdomen, just below the bellybutton.

The energy crackles through Typhoon’s body. There wasn’t any pain at all, just a buzzing sensation. Typhoon’s legs shook as the energy coursed through his core. His body goes rigid. A warmth starts spreading in the Tyhpoon’s crotch. He was wetting himself! Typhoon’s arms and legs went limp.

“There. That should do the trick.” Sap-man muttered. He let Typhoon’s limp body fall to the ground in a heap. Sap-man kneeled, smiling at Typhoon.

“Trust me, kid. This is for the best.” He said. Typhoon glanced up one more time at the huge man, trying to say something, then he slipped into unconsciousness, pee still flooding into his supersuit.

Chapter two

Typhoon awoke with a pained gasp. He was covered in packing material. His muscles were sore almost everywhere, but he was able to move. Each breath he took was painful. His ribs were definitely broken. He stood up slowly, wincing from the pain. Sounds echoed down from upstairs, as dozens of police officers had begun working their way through the building, but the warehouse was still empty. Typhoon determined that he had only lost consciousness for a few minutes. The hero started to limp towards the door, and it was then that he realized that his suit was wet. A dark stain in the material started at his crotch and went all the way past his knees. He’d wet himself!

Embarrassment flooded into him. If someone saw, his image would be ruined! There was lots of activity from above, but Typhoon knew he could still get away without being seen. It would not be good for him if it got out that he’d wet his super suit. He already had a hard enough time with his image, considering his unfortunate color scheme.

Typhoon slowly made his way to the back door. It was still very dark outside, but Typhoon wanted more cover than that. Painfully, he used his powers, sending a dense fog rolling through the streets. Satisfied, he began climbing the steps. The lights of several cop cars flashed through the fog. He took the final step up to street level, and, taking a deep painful breath, Typhoon launched himself out of the fog and into the sky. The pain was immense, and through gritted teeth, he started gliding. All of a sudden, Iggy’s voice popped through the comms.

“Oh my god thank goodness.” Iggy said.

“Hey Iggy.” Typhoon said, his voice rasping in pain. He was in no mood for codenames.

“Are you ok, Gale? Your vitals are all over the place.” Iggy said, abandoning the code names as well. “I thought the worst when you stopped responding.

“I’m ok. Broke a few ribs. Maybe a concussion too.” Typhoon’s head was still quite fuzzy.

“Well get back here and I can fix you up. I’ve got something new that’ll get you feeling better in no time. I lost signal with your suit for a while though. For a minute, I thought you might have died.” Iggy admitted fearfully.

“Not dead, but I was out of it for a bit. That guy is strong.”

“Did you get him?” Iggy asked.

               “No. He got away.”

“Damn. Well that doesn’t matter right now. I’m just worried about you. Hurry back and let me take a look at your ribs.”

“Will do. Be there in twenty.” Typhoon said.

The hero grabbed his backpack from his rooftop stash and slung it around his shoulder. He was too injured to change back into his normal clothes now. He looked back down towards the museum. The fog was fading. Even more emergency crews had showed up. He also saw a man who he recognized as the museum curator running into the building yelling something at the police officers. He saw the guards being carried out on stretchers. For Typhoon, it was an utter failure. As he looked at the unconscious guards, he wondered why he was still able to move so easily after being hit by Sap-man’s power. Everyone else that had been hit by it had taken weeks to recover. Sometimes longer.

“Maybe it was Iggy’s suit protecting me.” He thought to himself. “Or maybe my powers have something to do with it.” He pondered his fortunate fate as he weakly launched into the air again, gliding his way towards Iggy’s.

Iggy’s lived in the basement of an industrial complex on the wrong side of town. Thankfully, it wasn’t highly populated, and there was an elevator that Iggy had installed, the only two entrances at his apartment, and on the roof. It was a great setup, built just so that Typhoon didn’t have to worry about being seen. Flying in, he landed and quickly made his way to the hidden elevator that led down to Iggy’s. As he descended, he removed the wet super suit completely. Typhoon now became Gale, the boring college student. He removed his wet briefs, stuffing them in a pocket of his backpack, then grabbed the single pair of clean underwear he had in it. He slid the fresh pair of briefs on. Gale didn’t want Iggy knowing he’d peed himself either. The elevator doors opened and Gale walked out, in just his briefs.

Iggy called it his playhouse, filled with his ‘toys’, the dangerous and incredible inventions that had gotten him deeply in trouble with many different people. The basement was mostly dedicated to Iggy’s workshop. But, there was a livable area tucked away in there. It had a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room with all the high-tech electronics that Iggy could get his hands on.

Gale walked in, dropping his backpack down and slowly limping towards a medical bed, surrounded by strange equipment. He coughed a bit more as he slumped down onto it. Iggy came running over immediately, in his hand, a strange homemade medical device. Iggy was a small guy, only about 5’ 5”, and quite skinny. He usually wore large, square-framed glasses. His head was topped with a messy head of light pink hair. His ears were pierced in a few places, and he was always wore some sort of tight and revealing clothing. Gale never understood why though, since Iggy had very little muscle to show off. The outfits always made him a little uncomfortable. Today, Iggy wore a black mesh shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. His large glasses hid the dark circles under his eyes. His voice matched his flamboyant personality. However, at the moment, his usual flirtiness was gone, replaced by concern.

“Ok, let’s see.” Iggy said. He had a grim look. Every time Iggy had to fix Typhoon up, he remained completely serious until he knew that Gale would be ok. This was no different. Gale laid back on the medical bed. Iggy grabbed some bandages, and started wrapping them over the few cuts on Gale’s body, which had started to bleed more, now that the suit was off.

Iggy and Gale’s relationship was a strange one. Gale’s powers had awoken when he was only fifteen, and by sixteen, he became world-famous. Or at least, his alter ego, Typhoon, had. It had been only a few days since Gale’s sixteenth birthday, when Iggy showed up at his door. Gale still had no idea how Iggy had found out who he was, and Iggy would never tell. So, there Iggy was, demanding to be the person that got to design his super suit. Gale, had no idea what was happening, but was afraid that Iggy would tell someone his identity. He agreed almost instantly. Iggy was two years older than Gale, but, to Gale, he rarely acted like it. Gale found Iggy’s outfits and flamboyant personality to be immature, though Gale would never say that to Iggy. And so, their relationship had begun. At first, Gale had found it awkward, this scrawny older kid, designing things for him. But after a while, their dynamic had found a rhythm. Gale was twenty now, and Iggy was twenty-two. They had built a strange synergistic relationship together. Gale got the best tech, all custom-made, and Iggy got to see his inventions in action. Iggy also got to admire Gale’s bubble-butt in his suit, and was able to flirt relentlessly with the repressed hero. But Gale allowed it. That was just how Iggy was.

“It’s really not the cuts that are bad Iggy.” Gale said, wincing in pain. “It’s my ribs.”

“I know, just let me get these taken care of first, ok?” Iggy said. “Don’t want you bleeding out while I look at your ribs. It’ll only take a second.”

“Ok.” Gale responded, allowing Iggy to finish. It was never a good idea to argue with Iggy.

“Alright, there.” Iggy said, securing the last bandage. “Not quite so bad. Remember when you fought scissor-girl? You had so many cuts that day I thought you had gone through a paper shredder.”

Gale laughed, wincing. “Yeah she was a tough one. Good thing I have the best medic in the world to fix me up.”

“You sure do.” Iggy said. “No one else gets this kind of treatment. Not that anyone could afford it anyway. I do this for you because I owe you. Now, let me take a quick x-ray and see what the damage is.”

Iggy grabbed his phone and took a few pictures. Gale gave him a confused look. “What are you doing?” He asked.

“I’m looking at your ribs!” Iggy said. “Now stop moving.” Iggy took a few more pictures from multiple angles.

“Your phone has an x-ray on it?” Gale asked incredulously.

“Of course it does!” Iggy responded, as if it was obvious. “Anyone’s phone can, with a few small adjustments. Do you want it on yours? I’d do it for you if you want.”

“No of course not, that’s ridiculous. Plus, I don’t want you anywhere near my phone.” Gale said. But Iggy had stopped listening, examining the pictures. Gale sat in silence, waiting for the verdict.

Iggy whistled. “Wow. You really got knocked around. Five broken ribs, bruising on the lungs, but, other than that, no damage to any other organs. Hmm… could be a lot worse though. I’ll get you fixed up in a jiffy.” Iggy said. “I’ve been working on these medical nanobots for just this sort of thing. I should be able to get you back up and running in just a matter of minutes.”

Gale groaned. Another experimental treatment. “Have you ever tested it before?” He asked.

“Well, yeah! Of course!” Iggy responded. “I mean, this will be the first time doing it on something that’s still alive, but don’t worry, I’m sure it’ll be fine.” Iggy smiled and patted Gale on the head reassuringly.

“C’mon Iggy, no joking around now. I don’t want you messing me up, ok?” Gale asked.

“Don’t worry, Galey! It’s safe. You are in good hands.” Iggy said, returning to his normal flirty attitude. Something about that comforted Gale. Knowing that Iggy was confident enough to joke about it and call him by those embarrassing pet names gave Gale the reassurance he needed. Gale laid back as Iggy got everything ready. A few moments later, Iggy had a syringe with a small amount of strange purple fluid.

“Ok, this part might hurt a little, but don’t worry.” Iggy said, quickly injecting the syringe directly over Gale’s ribs. Gale felt the pinch as the needle went in, but almost immediately after that, it was as if all the pain was being released. It felt like something was buzzing inside of him directly over the injured area, and within a few minutes, he felt almost as good as new.

“Wow Iggy. That is incredible.” Gale said, sitting up and stretching. His muscles were still sore, but overall, he felt alright. “I would ask you how you did it, but I’m sure it would go over my head.”

“Yes, it would.” Iggy responded, smiling happily.

Gale shivered, still dressed in only his briefs. “Man, it’s chilly in here. I’m gonna get dressed.”

“Well… If you want to, I suppose.” Iggy responded, sounding a little disappointed. “I’m all finished with you. Although, I definitely don’t mind if you hang out in your undies for a while.” Iggy winked, glancing down at Gale’s underwear bulge.

Gale’s face went red and he quickly grabbed his backpack. He grabbed his jeans and t-shirt. It wasn’t even all that cold. Gale just felt uncomfortable around Iggy when his clothes were off. Iggy never tried to hide his stares at Gale’s tight and muscular body. And the suggestive comments never stopped. Gale put on the jeans, surprised at how quickly the pain had gone away.

“Aww, well I guess that’s all the time I get with you vulnerable in front of me, huh?” Iggy smiled, winking. Gale ignored him. Iggy grew serious again. “Ok, so, now that you are feeling better, what the hell happened? You actually lost a fight?” Gale gave Iggy a look when he said the word ‘hell’. Gale didn’t like swear words. Iggy just used them to get reactions out of Gale.

Gale’s pulled his shirt over his head, and zipped up his jeans. “Yeah. I know. It’s never happened before, but this guy is good. He’s huge, and really fast. He has some weird glowing glove that lets him change the composition of things somehow. There was a huge metal door that he basically turned into paper, and he turned an entire section of marble floor into liquid in an instant.”

Gale started to explain the entire encounter from beginning to end. He had arrived at the part where he was talking with the guard, when he felt a strange warm feeling at his crotch. He looked down in time to see a wet spot growing on his jeans. His story stopped as he looked down confused.

“What’s happening?” Gale thought to himself, not realizing what was going on.

               “Gale! Are you… peeing?”

Gale stared down at himself. He was peeing himself! And he didn’t feel a thing! He couldn’t stop it or slow it down. It was just… happening. Gale’s face turned bright red and he ran through the workshop to the bathroom. His soaked jeans dripped pee down onto the floor, leaving a little trail of droplets as he went. He ran into the bathroom, jeans soaked. He shut the door behind him. He had finished peeing by the time he got there. Gale took off his wet jeans and underwear and stared down at himself. What had just happened? A quiet knock echoed from the door.

“Hey. You ok in there?” Iggy asked from outside.

“Umm…” Gale hesitated. “Well, great. I don’t know what’s going on. I just peed myself… again.”

               “Again?” Iggy asked.

“When I lost consciousness before… at the museum. When I woke up, I had… you know.” Gale admits, embarrassed.

“In the super suit?” Iggy asked.

“Well, yeah.” Gale responded. Iggy was quiet. Gale spoke up. “Is that going to be a problem? I thought you said it was waterproof.”

“From the outside, yeah! I didn’t design it for THAT though.” Iggy said.

               “Oh.”

There was a pause for several moments as both of them absorbed this information.

“Do you need some new pants?” Iggy asked, finally.

Gale felt his face go hot with embarrassment. “Well…” he paused for several moments. His jeans and underwear were totally soaked. There was no way he could put those back on. “Yeah. I do. Underwear too. If you have any that’ll fit me”

“I’ll look for something. Back in a sec.” Iggy said.

Gale tossed his wet clothes on the floor. He hopped in the shower to clean off. The warm water felt relaxing. Gale washed his muscled body, allowing the soap to wash away his shame. A few minutes later, he was drying himself off. Another knock on the door.

“Ok, I think I have something for you to wear… but, well, you are way bigger than me, so it’s really all I’ve got that’ll stretch enough.” Iggy said.

“Anything is fine.” Gale responded. Gale was only a few inches taller than Iggy, but with his toned muscles, and bubble butt, Gale’s waist was much bigger than Iggy’s.

Gale hid behind the door and opened it a crack, extending his hand out through it and grabbing the fresh pants. He opened them up and looked at them. Gale sighed. In his hands were a pair of white spandex pants and a pink mesh thong. He knew that Iggy wasn’t playing a joke either. This was basically all Iggy had. Gale had never seen Iggy in ‘normal’ clothes.

“In your dreams, Iggy.” Gale thought, staring at the thong. “I’ll never wear something THAT embarrassing.” He set it aside. Gale stretched open the pants and slid them up his toned legs. He pulled and strained until he finally had them over his butt. Gale grimaced. They were really tight. Embarrassingly tight. He glanced in the mirror and immediately regretted it. He looked ridiculous. The pants had squeezed so tight that they were essentially see-through. The crotch had an extra piece of fabric to hide his package, but the pants were so tight that nothing was left up to the imagination. He turned a bit, glancing at his butt in the mirror. Gale grimaced. His butt was stretching the back even worse than the front. Gale was afraid that if he bent down, the pants would just disintegrate, ripping to shreds.

“I don’t suppose you have literally anything else that would fit me?” Gale asked through the door. “Or like… even just a pair of boxers or something?”

“Um… no, not really a boxers guy. As you can see, I’m more of a ‘pink thong’ type.” Iggy said, laughing. “Did you put that on?”

“No!” Gale sighed, exasperated.

“Come on, Gale, you know I’m not lying when I tell you that those are all I’ve got.” Iggy responded.

“I know.” Gale sighed. He believed Iggy completely.

They would have to do for now. Gale grabbed a plastic bag and stuffed his jeans and underwear into it. He tied it up and walked out. Iggy was sitting at his work bench, examining Gale’s super suit. He looked up at Gale as he walked by, then down at Gale’s crotch. For the first time, Gale saw Iggy blush, then look away.

Iggy had the super suit in his hands. “So…” Iggy said awkwardly. Gale was surprised that Iggy wasn’t making any suggestive comments. Then Gale saw Iggy reach down to the front of his skinny jeans, pushing down something that was growing at his crotch. Gale blushed and looked away, pretending that he hadn’t seen it.

“Listen… It was a long day, ok?” Gale said, continuing to speak, trying to act normal.

               “Yeah, I get that, it’s just… Well…” Iggy paused.

               “What?!” Gale said, annoyed.

“Your super suit is going to need some work.” Iggy said. “What exactly happened again?”

.              Gale points down at the wet super suit. “It happened when I was unconscious, ok? Right after he grabbed me with that weird glove. You know, the one that saps people’s strength?”

Iggy got a concerned look on his face. “He hit you with it?”

“Well yeah. I hadn’t got to that part yet.” Gale responded. “After we fell into the basement, I… everything gets really hazy. I just remember that I couldn’t breathe. Everything went black. I woke up in a pile of packing peanuts, suit soaked right through.”

Iggy sighed. “Well, I am going to have to do a lot of maintenance on the suit. The micro-wiring is totally fried. I might have to start from scratch altogether.”

“I did feel some weird buzzing going on. Um, down there… where he grabbed me.” Gale gestures broadly at his crotch. “Was that the wiring? It was like, some sort of weird energy or something. I don’t know. It felt… weird.” Gale said.

“That was probably from the glove, not the super suit.” Iggy said. “How are you still standing, though? Walking around? When he’s hit other people with that glove, bad stuff happens. Most people take weeks just to start moving around again. Some of them never fully recovered. You flew out of there in only a few minutes.”

“I figured it had something to do with my powers.” Gale said. “like, they blocked him out or something.”

“I don’t think that’s how it works, Gale.” Iggy said doubtfully. “Maybe the suit absorbed some of the energy.”

               “Yeah or that.” Gale admitted.

“You said he hit you in the dick?” Iggy asked.

Gale blushed. “No! Not right on it! I mean, ugh, maybe? I don’t know! his hand is really big! And I was barely conscious at that point anyway.” Gale was uncomfortable talking about this.

“Can I look?” Iggy asked. “Purely for medical purposes of course.”

Gale sighed. Of course. “C’mon Iggy, I’m fine. Trust me, there isn’t any damage there.”

“Yeah yeah. It’s just, if there are marks, I can potentially trace the origin of his weapon.” Iggy said. Gale suspected that Iggy wasn’t being totally forthright.

Gale hesitated for a few moments. If there was a chance, however slim, that they could figure out who Sap-man really was, it would be worth it. “Ugh, why me?” He complained. “Fine, but…no touching. Looking only. And I would really really REALLY appreciate it if you didn’t say anything gross, ok?” Gale asked, severely annoyed that he was being forced to do this.

Iggy nodded sincerely. “Cross my heart. I won’t say anything inappropriate.”

Iggy watched as Gale lowered the pants, revealing himself fully in front of his friend. Iggy’s face went red. Gale looked up at the ceiling as Iggy bent down in front of him to get a closer look. Gale was of average size down there. He had nothing to be ashamed of, but this was not a situation that he would ever have imagined could happen.

The area below Gale’s bellybutton had a very faint outline of a large handprint. His skin was still smooth though, no cuts, or any other adverse signs. Iggy got a little closer, only a few inches away.

“Does it hurt now?” He asked.

“No, it doesn’t feel like anything.” Gale said.

Iggy’s face grew very concerned. “Gale, I’ll be right back, ok? I have a bad feeling.”

Gale grew concerned as well. “What do you mean?” He asked.

Iggy didn’t respond, briskly walking away, and rummaging through a drawer. He came back holding a strange looking camera. “Just a feeling. Don’t move.” Iggy said mysteriously. He held the device up and looked at Gale through it. Iggy furrowed his brow.

               “What?” Gale asked, worried.

“There’s some sort of radiation there. The hand print. Ok, you can pull them up now.” Iggy said. Now, he was in work mode. No comments about girth, or pet names anymore. Iggy set the camera down. Gale pulled the shorts back up, glad to be covered again.

“What does it mean?” Gale asked.

               “I don’t know.” Iggy said.

“What do you mean, you don’t know?” Gale asked, growing more and more concerned. “You always know!”

“I mean, I don’t know! I need some time to think, ok?!” Iggy snapped, clearly annoyed at himself.

“Ok I’m sorry, it’s just, I want to know what is going on—what he did to me.” Gale said.

“I know.” Iggy said. They stood in silence for a few moments. Then Iggy said, “I think it would be best if you stayed here tonight.”

Gale hesitated for a moment, but then conceded. If Iggy needed him there, Gale would stay. “Ok, I’ll stay, but under one condition.”

               “What’s that?” Iggy asked.

“I want some real clothes.” Gale said.

Iggy smiled. “Sure. I’ll go buy you some.”

“Thanks. Now, I think I want to go lay down for a bit if that’s ok.”

“Of course. I’m sure you’re tired.”

Iggy showed Gale to a bedroom. Gale stripped out of the tight clothes and laid down, naked. Normally, he’d wear his underwear and his nighttime t-shirt to bed, but since he wasn’t at home, and didn’t have any other clothes, naked would have to do. Gale exhaled deeply, trying to put the day’s events behind him. Within a few moments, he was fast asleep.

             Chapter 3

That night, Gale tossed and turned. Nightmares of Sap-man tossing him about like a ragdoll invaded his mind. He awoke several times in a cold sweat, but after a while, he managed to fall asleep for good.

Early the next morning, Gale woke up with a splitting headache. The light pouring in from the narrow gap the curtain pierced into the room painfully. He rolled over, covering his head with his pillow to block out the light. That’s when he felt something strange. As he rolled over, he felt a cool dampness in the sheets. Sitting up, he tossed the blankets off and looked down. The bed was soaked. An embarrassing dark stain covered most of the mattress. He had wet the bed. A lot.

“What is going on?!” Gale thought to himself, still in shock and disbelief. The smell invaded his nostrils. Gale grimaced. He sighed angrily and stripped the sheets, tossing them on the floor with his wet clothes, still in the bag from the previous day. The mattress had a large, yellow spot as well. How could he explain this to Iggy? Was it really some sort of adverse effect from the weapon that Sap-man had used?

Gale looked around for a moment and saw something that hadn’t been there the night before. A set of clothes, folded neatly, were sitting next to the door. Gale walked over and looked at them. A pair of gray sweatpants and a blue t-shirt. Normal clothes! And they were brand new. They still had the tags on. Gale put them on. They fit! Now, he just had to tell his friend that he’d wet himself for the third time.

Summoning all the courage he had, Gale walked out of the bedroom, and back into the warehouse. Already, his cheeks burned with shame. Iggy was sitting at the kitchen table, staring at a computer screen. Iggy was wearing the same clothes as the previous night. Had he slept at all? Iggy didn’t notice as Gale walked up.

Unsure of how to start the embarrassing conversation, Gale simply stood there awkwardly. His mouth was open, but he couldn’t find any words. He couldn’t even say hello. Several long moments later, Iggy finally looked up. Surprised, Iggy jumped in his chair a little.

“Oh! You startled me.” Iggy exclaimed. “I see you found the clothes I bought for you. I figured you’d want something comfy.” Iggy said, looking at the clothes. “Though I wouldn’t ever be caught dead wearing sweat pants.” Iggy paused. “How long have you been standing there?”

“Oh… Well… you see…” Gale started, but didn’t know how to finish the sentence.

“What?” Iggy asked. Then he sniffed the air. A slight stench of stale urine was coming from Gale. “No way…” Iggy said, instantly realizing what had happened.

Gale dropped his head in shame. His cheeks burned with embarrassment. He couldn’t meet his friends gaze. Why was this happening to him?

               “I’m sorry…” Gale said pitifully.

Iggy walked over and embraced Gale. “Hey hey…” Iggy’s voice was calm and comforting. “Don’t worry. I am going to figure this out.”

“Why?” Gale finally choked out a sentence. “Why is this happening?”

Iggy patted Gale’s back, trying to comfort the scared hero. “It’s ok… It’s ok... We will figure this out.” Iggy stepped back. “Well, I have a few theories on how Sap-man’s device works… But to be honest, none of them can explain everything.” Iggy said.

“Can you fix it?” Gale asked, looking at his genius friend pleadingly.

Iggy gulped. Now it was Iggy’s turn to avoid Gale’s gaze. “Well… Yes. I think so. Maybe. Not yet though.” Iggy paused for several moments, then finally admitted, “I’m sorry, I just need more time.”

“But what about me?” Gale asked incredulously. “What am I supposed to do in the meantime? I can’t… I can’t…” he trailed off.

Iggy paused for a moment, then took a deep breath. “Ok Gale, I need you to answer a question for me seriously, no matter how embarrassing, ok?” Iggy said.

Gale looked away from his friend. “Yeah, ok.”

“Can you really not feel the need to go anymore?” Iggy asked. “Like… At all?”

Gale paused for several moments. He wanted to say that he still felt something, but he couldn’t. His bladder was now an enigma, a part of him that had been disconnected from any sensation. Gale shook his head, unable to say the words.

Iggy looked down at his feet. “I see.”

Several moments passed. Gale eventually walked over to the table and sat down. Neither of them said a word, trying to process this new piece of information. Gale had just admitted to being at least partially incontinent. The silence lasted for some time. Gale eventually spoke up. His voice cracked again as he spoke.

“I don’t suppose you have some magical… continence restoring machine in this warehouse of yours?” Gale asked. “You know… some invention you’ve been hiding away.”

Iggy shook his head, trying not to smile at the ridiculous idea. “No. It was never really something that had come up for me before.” Iggy said. Gale hung his head. Iggy continued, “but hey, that’s actually a good thing! Something totally new! I never get stuff that I don’t know. And usually, it doesn’t take me long to figure it out. This will be my entire focus, ok? I won’t rest until I have figured this out.”

“Thanks Iggy.” Gale said. “But still, that doesn’t help me right now. I have classes coming up on Monday. I can’t go if I keep… you know… on myself, and I can’t skip class.”

Iggy laughed. “Of course, school WOULD be the first thing you think about.” Iggy smiled. “Today is Saturday. Stay here with me this weekend, let me run some tests and monitor you. I’m sure by Monday I will have figured this out.”

Gale looked at his friend, who was smiling reassuringly. There was no one else on the planet he would rather have helping him in that moment. Then Gale remembered the bed.

“Thanks, Iggy. One thing though…” Gale said hesitantly. “Your bed… I kind of… Well… You know…”

               “Yeah.” Iggy said flatly.

“Yeah.” Gale echoed. “So… I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to ruin any more of your things.”

“Well…” Iggy began. “There is one temporary solution to your… issue… that I can think of.”

               “Yeah?” Gale said hopefully.

Iggy paused. “But you aren’t going to like it.” He said. “It’s… Well… kind of embarrassing…” Iggy said, not exactly knowing how to continue.

“Just say it, Iggy. I just woke up in a wet bed for the first time since I was…well, never mind.” Gale trailed off, embarrassed. He’d had some issues with bedwetting in his early years. “Just tell me. It can’t be worse than what has already happened.”

“Ok...” Iggy said. “Well… It’s… umm… adult… incontinence… underwear.” He hung on each word awkwardly, not making eye contact.

Gale’s mouth dropped open. Iggy was a super-genius. His inventions were world-class, and the best solution he had for this was… Diapers?!

“Diapers?!” Gale said. “You’ve GOT to be kidding me.”

“Well… It’s not glamorous, but it would save my mattresses. And your clothes.” Iggy said. “And, well, it’s relatively cheap too.”

“No.” Gale said. “No no no. There’s no way.”

“C’mon.” Iggy started. “You already ruined your super suit, your clothes, and now my mattress. That’s a lot in, what.. twelve hours?”

               “Iggy…” Gale complained.

“Come on Gale. No one else will know. Plus, I don’t want to have you peeing willy-nilly around my warehouse. God forbid you pee on another one of my inventions!” Iggy said. “Who knows what damage you could do!”

Gale groaned in frustration. He could hardly believe that this is what Iggy had come up with. But Gale didn’t’ know what to do either. “Iggy, there is no way. I am Typhoon! Hero of Triton City! I wouldn’t be caught dead-” Gale started ranting.

“Gale.” Iggy tried to interrupt. But Gale continued.

“-wearing diapers! I beat Mega-Colossus-Man! What would happen if everyone I’ve locked up at Stockland Prison found out that I’d been reduced to wearing diapers! And you! You’re supposed to be this mega-genius! All your inventions, IQ, blah blah whatever. It means nothing if you can’t even figure something out! I can’t believe that the best you can do is tell me that I-”

               “Gale!” Iggy yelled angrily.

“What?!” Gale yelled back. They locked eyes.

“You’re peeing again.” Iggy said. Gale looked down and saw the gray sweat pants darkening. His face went red and his eyes grew wide. Gale stopped talking. He just watched, desperately trying to feel any muscle to prevent this. Trying, and failing. It was useless. Liquid streamed down his leg, pooling on the floor.

Gale realized he had to face facts. He was incontinent. “Ok.” Gale’s voice shook quietly. He stared down at the floor. At the pool of urine he was now standing in.

“Ok.” Iggy responded quietly. It was obvious that he was upset at Gale. “I’ll go pick some up.” Iggy paused. “I’ll get you another pair of pants, too.”

Without another word, Iggy got up and left. Gale was ashamed. Ashamed at peeing himself, but he was even more ashamed for yelling at Iggy. Angry at himself, Gale started to clean up his mess. He stripped out of his wet clothes again and put on the tight things that Iggy had given him the night before. It was all he had left at this point. Gale went back and started wiping up the floor. Iggy was just trying to help. That’s all he ever tried to do. Be helpful. Iggy idolized Typhoon, and so, by proxy, he idolized Gale too. More than idolization. Iggy was in love with Typhoon. With the idea of a big strong hero. Gale never truly felt like a big strong hero though. Typhoon was just an act for Gale. But still, he cared about Iggy’s feelings. Gale had just crossed the line. He tried to think of the best way to apologize once Iggy got back.

After everything was cleaned up, Gale grabbed a glass of water and sat down on Iggy’s couch. He was thirsty. Knowing that he could have an accident again at any time, Gale also put a towel down under himself. He was determined not to ruin any more of Iggy’s furniture. Gale turned on the tv. He had no idea how long Iggy would be gone.

He flipped through the channels for a bit, and eventually settled on his favorite morning news show: “Good Morning Triton, With Leah and Matthew!”

It was as average as a morning show can be, but Gale liked it. They always played every clip of Typhoon that they could, and so had become the best source of news for his activities. Leah and Matthew were probably the biggest fans of Typhoon in the entire city, and the audience ate it up. It made Gale feel proud of what he’d accomplished since becoming a hero. And somehow, they always found the best footage. The kind that no one else could. Leah and Matthew were talking about the previous night. The museum.

“Well Matthew, scary stuff at the Westmount Museum last night.” Leah said.

“Oh really?” Matthew responded with almost sincere concern, sipping from his coffee mug. Gale was pretty sure that there wasn’t coffee in that mug, but something a bit stronger.

“Yes! It seems like our favorite Triton City resident was at it again.”

“Oh I can’t wait to hear!”

“Well it seems as if our hero, Typhoon, and that slimy villain known as Sap-man had an intense fight!”

Images flashed on the screen. Pictures of the damage to the museum. Leah described some of it, Matthew commenting on every little detail. Then they showed an interview with the museum’s curator, explaining about what the museum had.

“So hold on a minute.” Matthew interrupted. “The villain got away?” He asked.

“He did. Thankfully, our hero was able to prevent him from stealing anything!”

“But, Sap-man did get away right?”

“Unfortunately, but, considering how valuable the Jade Princess Idol is, I would consider this a resounding success!” Leah happily announced.

Gale gulped nervously. He couldn’t be certain, but it hadn’t seemed like Sap-man had even gone to the museum for the Jade Idol. Sap-man had every opportunity to take it, but didn’t. If that was the case, then Gale had no idea of Sap-man’s true intent.

Leah continued, “It should be noted that Typhoon also appears to have escaped unharmed. We have obtained some cell phone footage of him, taken only moments after the robbery.”

Gale stared nervously at the tv. Video? He’d been so careful! How had someone seen? He just prayed that his wet suit wasn’t visible. A grainy cell phone video played on screen, showing him slowly gliding through the air in the distance. The pink outfit of Typhoon’s was just visible shooting through the darkened sky. Gale sighed in relief. The quality was terrible, and it only lasted a moment or two. There was no way to tell that he’d wet himself.

Matthew and Leah talked for a bit more about the event, and then moved on to weather and some adorable cat videos. Each segment of the show passed by, and then it ended. Gale was getting concerned. What was taking Iggy so long? It had already been well over an hour. Thankfully, Gale hadn’t had another accident yet, which was surprising because he was also feeling much more thirsty than normal, and had already drank several glasses of water. Another hour later, Gale finally heard the heavy doors open up. Iggy walked back in briskly. He was holding a colorful latte from a local café and carrying a few different shopping bags, from several different boutiques.

“Sorry hon!” Iggy said cheerfully, setting the bags down, and taking off a pair of massive sunglasses. “There was a sale at the mall, and I just couldn’t resist stopping to see what I could find.”

Gale sighed, trying not to be annoyed. Of course. Iggy went shopping. How so very predictable. “And coffee as well, I see.” Gale said. He had a feeling that Iggy had taken his time on purpose. Gale wasn’t going to say anything about it though.

“Well duh!” Iggy said. “That was the first place I went. I can’t go shopping without my triple espresso mochaccino!”

“Did you at least get the, um, things for me?” Gale asked, unable to say the word ‘diaper’.

“Yes! Of course!” Iggy said. He grabbed one of the bags and pulled out a thick rectangular package. It read ‘Athena M4’. Iggy walked over and set the large package of Athenas on the table. Gale groaned and felt his face go red. This was really about to happen.

“Ok. Here you go. I wasn’t really sure how sizing works. The guy at the weird medical store said that they would be too big for me. I think he thought I was trying to buy them for myself. Kept saying that I needed a smaller size. Honestly though it seemed like he just wanted me to leave.” Iggy said, laughing. “Some people just can’t handle my energy, you know? Anyway, there’s some lotion and powder in there as well. Apparently, you have to use them to avoid rashes and stuff. That’s what the guy said. He was kinda cute. Like… A young Leo, but kind of… lankier. And in desperate need of some hair product. Sheesh.”

Gale had stopped listening after the words ‘lotion’ and ‘powder’. Powder? Lotion? Things kept getting worse.

“Yeah. Young Leo said that you would absolutely need them.” Iggy continued, seeing the look of apprehension on Gale’s face. “But don’t worry, I got the expensive stuff.”

“Thanks I guess…” Gale said, completely dejected. He sighed and grabbed the package. As he stood up to walk away, he sighed. He needed to apologize.

“By the way, Iggy…” Gale said, turning back to his friend. “I… I was a jerk before.”

“Yeah.” Iggy responded.

“I’m sorry.”

Iggy didn’t say anything. He just kept unpacking. He was clearly still a bit annoyed. They’d never gotten upset at each other before, and Gale had no idea how to go about apologizing. Iggy was eccentric. Gale wasn’t sure what Iggy was thinking right now.

After a few moments, Gale continued. He’d had one idea for something that would cheer Iggy up. “So, my super suit is ruined, right?”

“Yep. You peed right through it! Shorted out pretty much every system.” Iggy was definitely still annoyed.

“So maybe it would be easier to just make a new one?” Gale suggested.

Iggy sighed, still rummaging through his shopping bags, unpacking. “yeah, probably. I guess I’ll get on that, too. The other one is basically ruined now. What, you want me to make it green now, like you always wanted? No pink, right? Too much of a man for pink?”

“Actually,” Gale said, trying to ignore Iggy’s comments. “I think, this time, I’ll let you design the suit.”

Iggy stopped unpacking. He looked up from the bags, suspiciously. “You’ll let ME design it? ALL of it?”

“All of it.” Gale smiled.

“Top to bottom. The whole thing?” Iggy asked.

“Yep.”

“And you… wait… you are… huh?” Iggy was clearly trying to wrap his head around what Gale was suggesting. Last time they’d designed the suit, it had taken weeks before they even agreed on a color palette.

Gale smiled. “Iggy! I’m telling you that I want you to make me a new suit, however you decide to make it! I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for you. And I want you to know that. Iggy. I’m sorry, ok?” Gale said.

Iggy jumped up and ran over, nearly tackling Gale to the ground. He wrapped around Gale tightly with his arms and legs. Tears started streaming down his face in happiness. “Galey!”

Gale grunted as he was nearly bowled over. “ok… it’s ok…” Gale tried to pry Iggy off of him, but Iggy clung tight.

“I’m going to make you the best suit anyone’s ever seen. Trust me. You won’t be disappointed.” Iggy continued on about the suit.

“Good. Ok Iggy. Can you get off of me now?” Gale asked.

Iggy finally comes back to reality. “Oh! Right.” Iggy lets go of Gale, stepping back, blushing slightly. “Sorry.” He said sheepishly.

“It’s all good, Iggy. I just want you to know, every thing that I’ve done as Typhoon, I couldn’t have done without you, ok?” Gale said.

Iggy nodded, smiling. “Thanks Gale.”

“Of course.” Gale said. “Now, there is one other thing.”

“What’s that?” Iggy asked hesitantly.

“Where is your washing machine? I wanted to wash my wet stuff while you were gone, but I couldn’t find one anywhere.”

“Oh! Right. Well, I don’t have one.”

“What? How do you clean your clothes?”

“I use the laundromat down the block.”

“All these machines and you don’t have one that cleans clothes?” Gale asked, surprised.

“Well, the laundromat has a space invaders machine.” Iggy responded.

“Right.” Gale paused for a bit, contemplating his strange friend. “Well, I guess I’ll have to head there in a bit. You got a new pair of clothes for me, right?” Gale asked.

Iggy looks away sheepishly. “Right. The clothes. About that…”

“Iggy…” Gale eyed Iggy suspiciously. “What did you do?”

“Well… I… was kind of still… a little angry… so…”

Gale lets out a deep sigh. “What did you get?”

Iggy grins, embarrassed, then hands one of the shopping bags to Gale. He opens it and pulls out two items of clothing. A hot pink shirt with the words ‘bad’ on the front, and ‘bitch’ across the bag, as well as a pair of gray leggings with the word ‘juicy’ written across the butt. They were clearly bought at a store for girls, but they did seem sized up for Gale. Gale groaned.

“Wow.” Was all he could say.

“Sorry. I was pretty mad.” Iggy said. “I can go out and get you some new ones if you want.”

“It’s fine… I’m just wearing them around here. As long as YOU get my other ones washed by tonight.” Gale said.

“Of course.” Iggy responded.

“Alright, well.” Gale put his new girly clothes back in the bag and tucked it under his arm. He glanced down at the package of diapers. “I should put one of those on soon. I got really thirsty while you were gone.”

“Thirsty?” Iggy questioned.

“Yeah, like… super thirsty. Weirdly thirsty. I must have had at least a half gallon of water. And I still want more.” Gale responded.

“Oh.. Um… about that. That’s probably actually a side effect.” Iggy said.

“A side effect of what?” Gale asked.

“The nanotech I used to heal your ribs. They, well, they need a lot of water to work, so they dehydrate you.” Iggy said.

Gale sighed. Of course. He knew there had to be some explanation of why he could all of a sudden drink so much. “How long will it last? Being thirsty?”

“That’s a really good question, Gale.” Iggy responded.

There was a long pause.

“How long?” Gale repeated.

“Yep. Good question.” Iggy looked away.

“You don’t know.” Gale said flatly.

“No idea.”

“Great.” Gale sighed deeply. “Not even an estimate?”

“Hm…. Well, let me think.” Iggy says. “I would say it would be somewhere between… 24 hours and.. two months.”

“Months?!” Gale spurted out.

“Or 24 hours! I dunno!”

“Ugh. This is going to make it so much worse! I’m going to be peeing all the time!” Gale said.

“Yeah, well! I didn’t know it was going to be such a big issue at the time!” Iggy responded.

“Fine. Whatever. I’m going to go get changed.” Gale walked away.

“Sorry!” Iggy called after him.

Gale got to the bedroom and opened up the pack of diapers. Grabbing one, he laid it on the floor, as the bed was still damp. He examined it more closely. It was much thicker than he had anticipated. The plastic rustled loudly as he spread out the wings. Gale grabbed the lotion and took a deep breath. Did he really need lotion? Gale sighs. Probably. He stripped out of Iggy’s tight clothes and then squirted some lotion into his hand. Gale shivered as he applied the cold lotion on his bare skin. He rubbed the lotion in, spreading it over his navel, dick, balls, and around, spreading it across his butt. Gale sighed, then sat down on the diaper. It rustled again as he sat on it. He felt the blood rush to his face as he grabbed the talcum powder and opened it. He’d never changed a diaper before, but he knew the general idea. Not exactly knowing what to expect, he flipped the bottle of powder over and dumped some on his privates. A huge cloud of powder plumed around him as it came out much faster than he’d anticipated. The powder immediately covered his entire crotch in a veritable mound of powder. Coughing, Gale set the powder down, and did his best to spread it around the entire diaper area with his fingers. A lot got on the floor. Waving his hand around to clear away the poof of powder, Gale looked down. His crotch looked strange, all covered in white. He exhaled. He was ready to tape it up. Never could he have imagined that he’d be doing something like this. After some contemplation, he finally built up the courage and grabbed the front of the diaper, bringing it up over himself. He laid back and pulled the tapes open loudly. He fastened them on, one by one.

Gale was now diapered. The hero known as Typhoon, savior of Triton City, master of the wind and rain… was now wearing a thick adult diaper. Gale stood up, and a blast of powder shot out the front of the diaper. He immediately realized that this new garment was much thicker than he could have known. It was nothing like underwear. The diaper forced his legs apart slightly. Gale walked around the room a bit, trying to get used to the feel of it. He did not like how it felt between his legs. Thick and restricting. It wasn’t like the briefs he’d always worn. The worst part though, was the crinkling. Each step was like an alarm, blaring out to the whole world: “Hey! Look at me! I’m wearing diapers!” Gale shuddered with humiliation as he tried to get used to the sound and feel. He glanced in the mirror. His athletic body looked ridiculous with the thick diaper wrapped around his crotch. He turned and looked at his butt. He’d always had a big butt, and now, well, now it was almost ridiculous. Sighing, he grabbed the bag with the girly clothes. Maybe they would at least lessen the sound a bit. He slipped the leggings on and pulled them up. They were extremely soft, and Gale actually kind of liked how they felt on his skin. He pulled them all the way up. Then he grabbed the shirt and slipped it on. It fit, albeit tightly. Gale walked to the mirror in the room and looked at himself. The shirt was tight and came down past his belly button, but stopped just short of his waist. That meant there was an inch or two of skin showing at his waist. The leggings, while comfortable, made his embarrassing undergarment painfully obvious. Every fold and crease of the diaper showed through the leggings. And of course, they didn’t quite come up high enough, meaning that there was at least an inch of the diaper’s waistband showing, gleaming white for the world to see. Gale hated himself in that moment. Even if the clothes had fit right, and not been pink, and not had the awful writing on them, Gale would’ve been humiliated. Because Gale knew, that no matter what he had on over the top, there was no escaping the fact that he was wearing a diaper.

Gale tried to pull the shirt down a bit to hide the waistband of the diaper. Maybe he should go and ask Iggy to get him something different. Gale sighed. What was the point? He was wearing diapers either way. The clothes on the outside hardly made a difference. Gale gathered himself for a few moments, then went back out. Iggy was back on his computer.

Iggy didn’t look up. “Did you put it on?” Iggy asked.

“Yeah.” Gale responded.

“Well good. How’s it feel?” Iggy asked, still absorbed in his work.

“Fine.” Gale lied. He hated it.

“Well that’s good.” Iggy said. He finally glanced up from the screen. Gale saw Iggy’s expression change from surprise, to amusement, to pity all in a split second. “I think I’ll go to the laundromat now.” He said, finally.

“Thank you.” Gale said. “I would appreciate that.”

“Again, I’m sorry about… that.” Iggy said, gesturing to the outfit.

“Let’s just not talk about it. I’m going to grab some water and watch tv.” Gale said finally.

“Ok. I’ll be back with clean clothes before you know it.” Iggy said, hopping up and gathering all the things he needed to wash. “And don’t you worry. I am already testing a few things that might help with this new problem. We shall see.”

“Good.” Gale said. “You still want me to stay here this weekend, right?”

“Yes definitely.” Iggy said. “I’ll pretty much just be working on stuff. Oh. Once I’m back with something normal for you to wear, you could go back to your place and grab whatever you need. Toothbrush and stuff. Maybe some more clothes, just in case. Then when you get back, I might have some tests to run on you.”

“Ok. In the meantime, I’m just going to watch tv and try to forget that I exist.” Gale responded dejectedly.

“Oh, Gale… trust me, this will all be over soon, ok? Have faith in me.” Iggy said. “Now, I’m gonna go. I don’t think those clothes suit you.”

With that, Iggy left. Gale was left to himself. He grabbed a glass of water and chugged it. Then filled it again and drank that. He’d never been this thirsty before in his entire life! Gale refilled the glass and sat down on the couch. Gale opened up Netflix and searched for a show. Finally he found something that might be able to distract him and turned it on. He quickly became engrossed in the show, momentarily forgetting about his situation. He watched the first episode, then right through the second episode, but, when the second one ended, Gale finally came back to reality. He felt something strange. His crotch felt warm. Oh no. He’d another accident. He jumped up, worried that he’d ruined yet another piece of Iggy’s furniture. But there was no spot! Gale felt the couch where he’d been sitting. Dry! That’s when Gale remembered the diaper. Of course. He looked down at his crotch. Through the leggings, Gale could tell that the diaper had swelled up. He reached his hand down and felt the front of it. It was warm to the touch, but it was dry. He felt down the bottom of it. The diaper had absorbed quite a bit. He could feel the warmth of his accident nearly all the way back to his butt. Gale was surprised at how well it had worked though. There wasn’t a wet spot anywhere. It had all been contained. Gale did not like the feeling though. As he walked back to the sink to refill his glass, the diaper squished strangely between his legs. Gale drained another glass of water, then walked back to the tv. The next episode of the show had started to play. Gale paused it. He wanted a dry diaper. But when he paused it, another noise started to fill the air. A strange, quiet hissing noise. Gale looked around. Iggy was still at the laundromat. What was making that noise?...

Gale then realized. He was peeing! Again! Right that second. He stared down. Yep. The noise was definitely coming from his diaper. He tried to summon any feeling, any muscle to stop the flow. But the hissing noise just continued on, almost rubbing in how little control Gale had left. Gale gave up after a few moments, resigning himself to his fate. The hissing noise soldiered on though, as the huge amount of water he’d drank finally made it’s way through his system. Gale could feel the warmth spreading and spreading. Down past his thighs, and up towards his butt. Then he felt it start to pool. He could feel it. The liquid level rising inside the diaper. It wasn’t absorbing! Gale grew concerned. He didn’t want it to leak! But he couldn’t stop the flow! Gale felt the back of the diaper. It was still dry back there! Why wasn’t it absorbing? It couldn’t reach? Gale crouched down, hoping the liquid would be drawn to the back of his diaper. He felt the liquid slosh against him, then slowly start to drain back. He could feel the diaper warming and expanding against his butt. Gale’s hand was slowly feeling around the outside of the diaper, praying that it wouldn’t leak. Finally, the hissing noise stopped. Gale felt the diaper expand and absorb, expand and absorb. After a few moments, Gale felt safe to stand up. He couldn’t feel it pooling around anymore. His hands examined all the spots around his diaper. No wet spots. It had absorbed everything. Barely.

Gale sighed in relief, then disgust. He’d just filled a diaper to the brim with pee. Helplessly. The humiliation burned deep into Gale’s psyche. He hated this. There was also a smell to it. It wasn’t a pee smell though. It was, without a doubt, the wet diaper smell. There was no other smell like it. And it was coming from him. Humiliation coursed through Gale’s veins, raising his heartbeat.

“If I ever find Sap-man again, I won’t hold back.” Gale said to himself. “I’m going to destroy him!” Angrily, he walked back to the bedroom so that he could change. The diaper squelched loudly with each step. It had been pushed to the limit. Gale got to the bedroom and stripped off the leggings, then he furiously ripped the diaper off. It fell to the ground with a loud, wet thud.

“Oh shut up!” Gale yelled at the diaper. Gale angrily balled it up and tossed it aside. Quickly, he wiped himself up, muttering to himself. He rubbed the lotion in again, spread out a new diaper, powdered up, and taped it on. Still fuming, Gale put the leggings back on.

Gale stared down at the used diaper. “Stupid.” He said. He felt a little better. “You are a dumb diaper.” He name called again. He smiled. Gale rarely used words like that, and if felt good!

“Dumb stupid dummy. Dumb dumb idiot.” He gathered up the used wipes, and the wet diaper, calling it names the entire time. It really was making him feel better. He opened the door and carried them out to the kitchen.

“Here, let me show you where you belong, you dumb, stupid, ugly, wet diaper.” Gale tossed into the garbage can and stood back, satisfied. Gale stuck out his tongue one last time at the diaper, bidding it an angry farewell.

He looked up just in time to see Iggy standing there, staring awkwardly, holding a pile of neatly folded clothes. The room went dead quiet. All the blood rushed into Gale’s face, burning bright red with embarrassment.

“Hey.” Iggy said, his voice cutting through the air like a hot knife.

Silence took over again. The two stared at each other for several moments. Iggy spoke again.

“I uh, got the laundry done. Here’s your stuff.” Iggy said. He slowly walked in and set the pile of clothes on the table.

“Th-thanks.” Gale said, voice cracking. Gale walked up and grabbed them. He didn’t make eye contact with Iggy. He walked out awkwardly, taking the clothes back to the bedroom. Once there, he stripped out of the leggings and shirt, and put on his jeans and t-shirt. Gale inspected himself in the mirror again. This time, it actually gave him a confidence boost. It was almost impossible to tell! The baggy jeans and long t-shirt hid the diaper completely. Even the crinkling was lessened! Gale turned and looked at his butt in the mirror. Same thing! It was maybe a bit bigger, but there was no way someone would be able to tell if it was a diaper. Gale sighed in relief. He did still have to explain to Iggy why he was talking to a wet diaper though.

He took a few moments, then went back out. Iggy was back on the computer.

“Hey.” Gale greeted.

“Oh hey.” Iggy glanced up as Gale walked over. Iggy looked Gale up and down. “Feeling better?” Iggy asked.

Gale blushed a bit. “Yeah, loads. These clothes are so much better.”

“Yeah. I agree.”

“So um… about before.” Gale began.

“No worries, cutie-pie.” Iggy said, winking. “We all do weird stuff. I talk to my machines all the time! Like, constantly!”

“I guess.” Gale said, “it’s just..”

“Hey. Forget it even happened.” Iggy said.

“Thanks.”

“So, you gonna head back to your apartment and grab stuff?” Iggy asked, changing the subject.

“I don’t know… It’s kind of…” Gale had a hard time explaining. He did not want to go out in public wearing a diaper. Even if it was well-concealed.

“Are you nervous or something?” Iggy asked.

“Well, I mean, yeah.” Gale admitted.

“Don’t be. No one could tell. And even if they did, no one would care.” Iggy said. “Trust me, you can do some weird stuff in public.”

“Yeah, I mean… I guess.” Gale was unconvinced.

“No! Seriously! There was this guy I knew once, and he straight up just took the subway all the way from Uptown to the red light district in nothing but a bright pink speedo and a pair of flip-flops! Seriously!” Iggy said. “And no one said a thing to him! Not once! He even passed a cop!”

“That was you!” Gale said. “You told me this story already! As an example of why you SHOULDN’T do dumb stuff in public! And the cop did try and stop you, right? That’s how you told it last time.”

Iggy pondered for a moment. “Oh yeah! That’s right! Well anyway, barely anyone said anything. And that cop was just trying to get in my pants anyway. He wasn’t, like, angry or whatever.”

“Still though.” Gale said.

“Whatever, no one will notice! Trust me, I can’t tell at all right now, and I know what you have on under there! Plus, you need more stuff. I have a thing about people using my toothpaste. You can’t have any.” Iggy said.

Gale sighed. Iggy was right, but Gale still felt afraid. “I know… It’s just.” Gale began.

“Plus, you are probably going to want to get used to doing normal, everyday things while wearing those. Just in case this takes longer than I think it will. Who knows?” Iggy said.

“How long do you think it’s going to take?” He asked. “I thought you’d be done by the end of the weekend?”

“Come on, Gale! You can’t rush this!” Iggy said, a little annoyed. “This is a totally new thing for me! It could take me a day, maybe two, who knows! It could take a week! You’ve got to be patient. Don’t get your diaper in a bunch.”

“A week?!” Gale said incredulously. “I can’t be stuck in these for a week!”

“Calm down. I’m just saying… Giving a timetable in this situation is dumb, because I’ve barely started working on it and I have literally no other experience to go on. It’s not like I’ve worked on this before.” Iggy explained. His voice softened. “I will do everything I can, but I just don’t know how long it’ll take, ok? Now listen, the best thing you can do to help, is to go back to your apartment and get everything that you’ll need for the weekend. I need to concentrate.”

“I know. I know… Fine. I’ll go. See you.” Gale was a bit frustrated. A week. He grabbed his backpack and walked out. Bravely, Gale ventured back into the real world, crinkly diaper and all.

Chapter 4

Outside, it felt like a spotlight was on him at all times. In the seedy neighborhood that Iggy called home, he was very afraid of having anyone notice. There were always odd people hanging about. Iggy had said that he preferred being in these kinds of places. Gale knew that Iggy only lived here because it was the only place where he could get away with making as much noise as he did at all hours. Gale was nervous walking to the bus stop. Each step felt like he was announcing to the world that he was wearing a thick absorbent undergarment, but as he walked to the nearest bus stop, no one stopped or looked. It was as if he was hiding in plain sight. He stood at the bus stop, another person waiting, and not once did they say anything. They didn’t even look over. Even when he got on the bus with the four or five other people, there were no jeers, no name-calling, and everyone seemed to be normal. With a sigh of relief, Gale waited the long ride back to his place. Gale went on his phone some more, seeing about any new reports on Sap-man, but nothing new had come up. Sighing, he put his phone away and stared out the window, trying to lose himself in thought.

His thoughts were interrupted about halfway to his apartment, when Gale felt his diaper warm again. He sat bolt up in his seat, and a person across the aisle glanced over, then back down at their phone. Gale could feel the diaper warming. And… was that a hissing sound? Gale shuddered. He could only just barely hear it over the sound of the bus. There was no way anyone else would notice. Gale felt the blood rush to his face. He scanned the bus, counting the people. There were 12 other people riding, not including the bus driver. Gale tried to remain calm. He desperately tried to stop the flow, but as always, was helpless. The bus pulled up to a red light and stopped. The flow didn’t. Gale had drank so much water. Gale watched as the person across the aisle got up and left the bus. Finally, just as the bus was starting back along the road, Gale could tell that he’d stopped. He wished that he could check to make sure he didn’t leak, but he didn’t want to risk it. He would just have to wait. The rest of the bus ride was very tense for Gale, but thankfully, no one seemed to notice.

His stop was coming up. Gale knew he would have to get up. If the diaper had leaked, someone would see… he knew they would. The bus stopped. He was here. Gale slowly stood up, trying to act naturally. As he stood though, he felt it. He was peeing again! Already? What could he do? This was his stop!

“Get off, or sit down, son!” The bus driver called back. Gale realized that he’d just been standing there. Everyone was looking at him. Gale felt his face go red.

“Sorry!” He managed to choke out. His mouth felt so dry. He needed something to drink, too. Quickly, he hurried off the bus, bladder releasing the entire time. Gale stood on the pavement in shock, until he felt like he was no longer going. This was his neighborhood. People could recognize him here. He needed to get home, quick. He needed to know if the diaper had leaked though. Nervously, he glanced around. He stepped into the small shelter at the bus stop. He felt around his jeans for wet spots. Nothing. He hadn’t leaked. Gale sighed happily. He just needed to walk the few blocks home. That’s all. Nervously, Gale started walking. His diaper squished between his legs. The noise was lessened in the jeans, but the feeling of wet squishy diaper between his legs did not give Gale the confidence that he so desperately needed. Either way, he had to get home.

Gale lived in a single bedroom apartment, near the university. It was on the top floor of a small apartment building. Unfortunately, there was no elevator, so Gale was always forced to walk up the long three flights of stairs to the top. Thankfully, all was quiet. Gale arrived at his building and walked in. He was desperately trying not to waddle, but at the same time, make the diaper squish less. So far, he hadn’t succeeded in either effort. He entered and, walking up to the top floor, Gale noticed the diaper start to chafe against his legs. He couldn’t adjust for fear that someone would see, so Gale just gritted his teeth and kept going up. He turned the corner towards hi apartment, pulled the keys out of his picket and opened up the door. Finally, Gale was home. He walked in, sighing in relief. At least no one could bother him here. Gale shut the door and nearly collapsed. He’d fought countless bad guys with strange powers and abilities, and somehow, that walk home was the most fearful he’d ever been.

Gale grabbed a glass of water and drank it in one go. The thirst would not let up, so he filled a second glass and drank that too. Finally sated, he walked into the bathroom. He needed to inspect the diaper. He walked in and closed the door to the small bathroom. He removed the jeans and inspected them for wet spots. Nothing. Finally, he examined the diaper. The front was soaked. He pressed a hand against it. The diaper squished loudly, and Gale felt liquid press out of the padding momentarily. Gale cringed at the feeling. He turned and looked at the back of the diaper in the mirror. It was equally wet. It was stained yellow all the way back. As far as Gale could tell, there wasn’t a dry spot left. Gale didn’t know what to do. He hadn’t brought a spare! Why hadn’t he packed a spare?!

Gale berated himself for being so careless. He had been hoping to relax at home for a bit. Now, if he wanted to get back before this diaper completely gave out, he would have to leave right away! Gale hurriedly packed his bag. He packed a few different changes of clothes, making sure they were as baggy as possible, knowing he would have to hide his diapers underneath. He grabbed his laptop, for doing homework and playing games. He also opened up the secret latch on the ceiling in his closet. Inside was his old super suit. It was the first one he’d ever had. The one that he’d made himself. It was a soft sea-green, with white linings. He’d made it himself, before Iggy got involved. He’d taken up sewing just so that he could make it. He folded it neatly and packed it away as well. Since his new one was out of commission, he would probably need it. Unfortunately, it didn’t have the bells and whistles that Iggy’s did. No stealth mode, no trackers, scanners, or vitals monitors. No wingsuit. But it would have to do. He grabbed it and did one last look through, trying to make sure he had everything he needed. He was about to step out the door when he felt more pangs of thirst.

Gale grabbed another glass of water, downing it. He cursed Iggy, knowing that it would just make his current situation that much worse. Grimacing, Gale grabbed the bag he’d packed and walked back out. He quickly walked down the steps. He needed to hurry before his bladder decided to empty again. Gale shuddered as the diaper squished loudly. He didn’t care. He just wanted to get back to Iggy’s now. He wanted a fresh diaper. This one felt awful.

Gale arrived back at the bus stop. He’d never had a car, and in fact had never even learned to drive. Now, he was cursing himself for that decision. If he’d only known how to drive, he could be alone. But he didn’t have a car. Gale had gotten his powers before he’d needed to learn to drive, and had used his powers to travel long distances. Plus, he’d always lived in Triton City, and never really planned on leaving. There were two other people at the bus stop. He recognized one of them as another student in one of his classes. Thankfully, they’d never spoken, so Gale didn’t even say hello. He just pulled out his headphones and popped them in. Gale put on his favorite music, trying to forget the situation. The bus arrived quickly, and Gale stepped in. The bus was much more crowded now. Gale found a seat and gingerly sat down. He felt the diaper squelch as he did, and Gale’s face reddened as the person in front of him looked around, confused. Gale just pretended not to notice, and the person went back to their phone a moment later.

Now that he was sitting, he felt a little better. While sitting, no one would be looking at his butt. No one would see. It was the standing back up that would be hard. But Gale had about thirty minutes until that happened. It was a long journey across town back to Iggy’s. Gale just prayed that he would make it. Gale turned his music up and tried to forget.

As they bus got further and further out, it started to empty. About twenty minutes later, there were only three other people on the bus. That’s when it happened though. Gale’s heart sank. He felt it. Again. He was peeing. Again. If only he hadn’t had to drink so much. This wouldn’t have happened. Gale knew there was no way the diaper would hold up. Gale shifted uncomfortably as his bladder emptied once again. Gale glanced down at his crotch. He didn’t see any spots, but since he was sitting, it was hard to say. He could feel liquid pooling inside the diaper, and the flow was still going. Terrified, Gale lifted his butt off the seat, hoping that somehow there was more room in the back for it to absorb. Gale glanced around. The other people in the bus were all in front of him. He could risk a check. Nervously, he stuck his hand underneath his pants and felt around. Immediately, he felt a wet spot. Not just damp either, but wet and dripping. This wasn’t just a little leak. His diaper had completely given up. Gale didn’t know what to do. He was still ten minutes away!

Time dragged on slowly for Gale. Each second felt like an eternity. Each stop, Gale’s heart pounded, hoping no one would get on and see. Two more people got off the bus. There were only three people in the entire bus now. Gale, the bus driver, and an old man who looked like he was going through some tough times. The old man was gently resting his head against the window of the bus. Gale hoped he was asleep. There would be no hiding his accident now, and Gale knew he would be leaving a puddle for someone else to clean up. But there was nothing Gale could do about it.

As the bus pulled up to his stop, Gale gripped his bag, ready to sprint. It was three blocks to Iggy’s, and usually there weren’t too many people around. The bus stopped, the door opened, and Gale stood up quickly. He glanced back down at the seat. The rounded seat did indeed have a puddle in it. He started to hurry off the bus. As he passed the older guy, he saw that he was indeed asleep. The bus driver didn’t seem to pay any attention either, as he was already looking to pull back into traffic. He made it off the bus and very quickly started walking to Iggy’s. Almost at a run. He felt liquid running down his legs to his shoes. Humiliated, Gale felt tears forming in his eyes. Why was this happening to him?

He crossed the first street towards Iggy’s. Only two to go. He didn’t see anyone out. He started to sprint. The diaper squished and squelched underneath him, soaking his jeans even more. By the time he reached the next block, Gale’s pants had become pitifully wet. Anyone who saw him would immediately know that he’d pissed himself. The tears were building in Gale’s eyes. He got to Iggy’s street without encountering a single person. He rushed towards the building and rushed inside. He turned the corner and rushed into Iggy’s. He had made it.

Gale rushed in and saw Iggy sitting at his quantum sewing machine. Iggy looked over and saw Gale. Iggy’s eyes wandered down to Gale’s ruined jeans, then back up to Gale’s face, red with embarrassment, eyes ready to burst with tears.

“Hey there…” Iggy said slowly, “You ok?”

“Obviously not!” Gale yelled. As Gale finally spoke, all of his emotions came rushing up and he felt himself start to cry. Iggy immediately turned off the machine and rushed over. Wordlessly, Iggy rubbed Gale’s back. Gale just cried. He hadn’t cried like this in years. Once the hero of Triton City, known for his incredible feats, Gale felt nothing but a sense of complete powerlessness. It was a complete breakdown. Minutes later, Gale finally started to calm down. Iggy embraced him, being careful not to get wet. Finally, Iggy spoke.

“Listen, I know it’s tough. Trust me, we will figure this out. In the meantime, you’ll feel better if you go change, ok?” Iggy suggested kindly.

Gale nodded, wordlessly getting up and walking back to the bedroom where the package of diapers was.

“Let me know if you need anything, ok?” Iggy said, as Gale closed the door.

Gale ignored his friend. He needed Iggy to figure this out. Gale took off his wet jeans, tossing them aside. He un-taped the diaper and let it fall to the floor. Gale hung his head as he again wiped himself up. This time, there was no anger during the change, just quiet depression. Gale had been defeated. Wordlessly, he cleaned himself up. He put on a new diaper again, then grabbed a pair of sweat pants from his bag. He put them on and looked in the mirror. His face was red and puffy with tears. Gale sighed. He did feel a bit better now that the wet diaper was off though. Gale wrapped up the wet diaper and the used wipes. He actually felt a lot better. Gale took a deep breath. He stared in the mirror.

“No one saw.” Gale said to himself. He felt a bit better.

“Not one person.” Gale said again. He exhaled. “Yeah.”

Gale walked back out. First, he went to the bathroom. He wanted to wash his face. He let the water run hot, then washed his face clean. He felt even better. He looked in the mirror. This time, he even managed to smile. Gale walked back to where Iggy was working.

               “Hey!” Gale called out.

               “Hey!” Iggy responded. “Feeling better?”

“Yeah, tons.” Gale said. “Thanks. Sorry for getting all… emotional. Not really my best look, huh?”

Iggy smiled and turned back to his work. “No worries Gale. You know me, nothing you do could make me think you aren’t adorable.” Iggy said. Gale smiled. Sometimes it was too much, but Iggy’s relentless flirting had a way of calming Gale down.

“Did you find anything out?” Gale asked.

“Well, I have a bunch of tests I want to run on you, so I was just working on this until you got back.” Iggy gestures down at his quantum sewing machine. A strange piece of fabric was sitting there. Gale had no idea what it was.

“Ok, and what’s that?” He asked.

“In due time! Once it’s finished, ok? I think it is going to help a lot though. It’s kind of cool actually. I’m repurposing an old invention I had. I think it’ll work wonders for you, whenever you decide to get back out to hunting down bad guys.”

“Nice! Yeah, I actually brought my old suit in case something happens.” Gale said.

“That green one?” Iggy asked. Gale nodded. Iggy snorted. “Hmph.. alright.”

“I knew you were going to say that! I love that suit! It’s a classic!” Gale said.

“Whatever. I still think pink looks way better on you.” Iggy says.

“You think pink looks better on everyone!”

               Iggy snorts derisively. “Whatever.”

Gale changes the subject. “So, what kind of tests do you need from me?”

“Well I need a blood, urine, and saliva sample.” Iggy said. “I know urine might be an issue for you, so if you would just grab that diaper you just had on, and toss it on my work bench, I should be able to get the sample from that. And then I can get the other things from you in a bit as well, ok hon?”

Gale blushed, but obeyed, going and grabbing the sopping wet diaper from the floor in the bedroom. He put it on Iggy’s workbench, cringing at the sight. Gale then waited as Iggy did some more work. A little while later, Iggy had everything he needed, and started the few tests that he wanted to run.

“These won’t be finished until tomorrow, so in the meantime, I guess you can do whatever.” Iggy said. “Are you going to go out on patrol tonight?”

“No way!” Gale said. “I’m only going out if something drastic happens.”

“Fine fine.” Iggy said. “It’s just, you haven’t missed a night in weeks.”

“Well this is a very unusual circumstance.” Gale said.

“That’s a fair point.” Iggy said. “Well in that case, do whatever you want. Take your pants off, run around, I don’t care. I’ve got work to get to.”

“Ok. Thanks again Iggy.” Gale said, ignoring the ‘pants off’ comment.

Gale busied himself with some school work for a while, catching up on a few things that he had been putting off. As the evening crept nearer, Gale started to feel antsy. It was 6:00pm, and now was the time that he usually put on his super suit and went out to stop crime. But as 6:00 came and went, Gale stayed cooped up. He was currently curled up on a couch with a thick blanket covering himself up. His thirst had not yet abided, so he had been drinking tons of water, which meant that already, he’d had to change twice since he got back. Iggy had been working almost non-stop, checking computers, fiddling with various things, running tests, and a whole host of other things that Gale had no clue about.

By now, Gale had caught up on all of his homework, so he had moved on to other things. His laptop was in his lap, and he had headphones in, watching videos online. He was laughing at some video when he felt a strange sensation come over him. A strange feeling in his stomach. Gale paused the video. It was then that Gale realized that his diaper was fairly wet once again. He’d already changed four times today, and now he realized he would have to go change into a fifth diaper. Gale got up, annoyed. He’d been changing a bit more promptly after his embarrassing leak on the bus, but because of that, he was going to go through that pack of diapers quickly. The pack only had twelve diapers, and he was already on his fifth! Gale stood up to go and change. The diapers and changing supplies were in the guest bedroom, so he started walking over. His stomach still had that strange feeling. As he walked towards the bedroom, the feeling got worse. Maybe he would take a tums. Then, Gale finally realized what was happening, but it was far too late. Without much resistance at all, Gale felt his bowels release.

Gale doubled over a bit as he felt the back of his diaper start to fill. The first sensation Gale felt was one of relief, as the pain in his stomach went away, but then the humiliation and shock crept in. More mess mushed into the diaper. Gale felt if spreading against his butt and felt the diaper pressing outwards, trying to contain it. His bladder chose that moment to release as well, as he felt the front start to warm up and sag down. Gale was shocked. He had just filled his diaper. Badly. Gale’s face turned bright red. He was fifteen steps away from the toilet, and he hadn’t even realized that he needed to go. Gale looked around. Iggy was hard at work. He hadn’t noticed. Gale stood back up, wanting to seem normal, but he immediately regretted it as he felt the large lump in the back of his diaper squish against him. He shivered in disgust at the feeling. There had been no warning! No sensation. It had just… happened. A sinking feeling came over him. Gale couldn’t deny it. It wasn’t just his bladder that he couldn’t control anymore. It was the other thing too. He’d become completely incontinent

After a few seconds of standing there, trying to grasp the situation, Gale finally came to terms with the fact that he needed to get changed. He waddled to the bathroom, being very careful to try and prevent his diaper from squishing around. He arrived in the bathroom, and stood there awkwardly. His diaper supplies were in the bedroom, but he didn’t want to go there, fearing that Iggy would see his sorry condition. He would have to walk right past Iggy, and he would definitely smell it. With a sigh. Gale took off the diaper, now extremely heavy from all of the wettings and now a mess as well. He wrapped it up carefully and tossed it in the trash. He immediately tied the bag off, then cleaned himself up as best he could with toilet paper. Gale then got into the shower and washed himself several times, trying his best to forget what had just happened. He scrubbed and scrubbed, trying to get as clean as possible. Fear had crept into his mind now. Gale was terrified. From head to toe he was terrified. Something bad was happening to him, and he was afraid. Gale took a few deep breaths and let the water rush over him, desperately trying to forget what had just happened.

Gale got out of the shower and tied a towel around his waist. He walked to his bedroom and sighed. Back to diapers again. He put one on and then got into a pair of pajama pants and an old t-shirt that he always wore to bed. He walked back out. When he walked out, Iggy was waiting for him. Gale felt his face go red. Had Iggy guessed?

“Hey, so Gale…” Iggy began.

“Yeah?” Gale responded nervously.

“I think I have an idea for you!” Iggy said, cheerfully. “In case you need to go out on patrol while you still have this, uh, problem.” Iggy gestured broadly at Gale’s crotch.

Gale sighed in relief. Iggy hadn’t realized. “Oh really? What’s that?” Gale asked.

“Well, there’s this material that I invented a while back, but could never find a good application for it. But now, I have just the thing!” Iggy said.

“Oh cool! What is it?”

“Well, it’s SAP, but like… on steroids.” Iggy said, smiling.

“What’s SAP?” Gale asked.

“Well, it stands for super absorbent polymer. It’s the stuff that they put in diapers to absorb liquid.” Iggy said.

“yeah… ok?” Gale responded nervously. He wasn’t sure he was going to like this.

“So the stuff I invented is basically that, but it’s way better. Trust me, I think you’ll like it.” Iggy said.

“Alright… I guess…” Gale responded.

“I’ll have it ready for you in the morning, so go get your beauty sleep, k?” Iggy said. After seeing Gale’s hesitant reaction, Iggy tried to reassure him. “It’s hard to describe. Trust me, it’s a way better solution than just wearing those under your super suit.” Iggy said, pointing towards Gale’s diaper.

Gale blushed. “I guess I’ll take your word for it.” He said. “Anyway, I’m tired. I know it’s early but I think I’m just gonna go to bed.”

“Sounds good. Talk to you in the morning.” Iggy responded. “And then you’ll see it. Trust me, it’s gonna be good.”

With that, Gale grabbed another glass of water to satiate his thirst, and then went to bed.

Chapter 5

The next morning, Gale woke up with a fright. He’d been having nightmares, but as his eyes adjusted to the morning light, the memories of his dreams started to fade. He pulled the covers off and stood up. A thick warm diaper reminded him of his predicament. He wet while sleeping again. He examined the bed. No wet spots this time. Gale was glad the diaper held up overnight. Gale had been a bit worried, that with all the water he’d been drinking, it wouldn’t last. Gale licked his lips. His mouth was very dry, so he walked out to grab a glass of water. He would change his diaper afterwards. In the shop, Iggy was working. Iggy greeted Gale with a smile.

“Hey! Just putting some finishing touches on this thing. I really think it’s going to work well.” Iggy said.

“Cool!” Gale said, not thinking about it too much, his intense thirst dominating his thoughts. He grabbed a glass of water and chugged it, then filled it again and drank that? Gale burped loudly, then drank another glass.

“Jeez, slow down, cutie!” Iggy called out.

“It’s your fault I’m so thirsty anyway!” Gale yelled back.

“Fair enough.”

Gale looked through the fridge for something to eat. It was pretty bare. Gale would have to go shopping. As he searched for food, Iggy walked over to him, holding something behind his back.

“Ok, ready for this, hon?” Iggy asked.

“Huh?” Gale responded, still trying to find food.

“Hey! I spent a while putting this together! Now, look!” Iggy demanded.

Gale stopped and turned to Iggy. “Alright alright, sorry. I’m just hungry.” That’s when Gale saw the dark circles under Iggy’s eyes. “Did you sleep at all last night?” He asked.

“Sleep shmeep. Come on, I’m excited to show you this! You ready?” Iggy asked excitedly.

Gale sighed. Iggy was pushing it pretty hard. “As I’ll ever be.” Gale said.

“Ok. Let me introduce you to the newest in super suit technology!” Iggy was bursting with excitement. “The Super Protector!” Iggy announced, pulling the object out from behind his back and holding it up. It was a small white piece of fabric. It looked like a plain white speedo. Some sort of stretchy smooth brief-style undergarment. Gale sighed in disappointment.

“A speedo?” Gale couldn’t believe his eyes. “You want me to hunt bad guys in just a speedo now?”

“No no no!” Iggy responded immediately. “It’s for UNDER the suit. God, I wish I could get you into a speedo. No. This is special. It’s a diaper! And a really awesome one at that.”

Gale couldn’t believe it. That flimsy piece of fabric was… a diaper?! “No way.”

“Yes way!” Iggy said. “This IS a diaper, a super diaper at that. It’ll hold everything you’ve got and then some. And, without the awkward bulkiness of those that you have on now.” Iggy pointed down at Gale’s crotch, where his swelled-up diaper bulged in his pajama pants. “You can go back to chasing down bad guys without a care in the world! It uses an awesome thing I invented. I call it D.I.A.P. Which stands for, well, we won’t get into that. This is like the stuff they put in regular diapers, times a hundred.”

“Wow. That’s actually… Kind of awesome.” Gale said. He reached out and touched the fabric. No crinkling, no swelling. It was a dream come true! He’d be glad to rid himself of these thick, noisy monstrosities.

“So tonight you can try it out.” Iggy said.

“Tonight?” Gale asked. “Why not now? I hate these diapers. I’d much rather wear that.”

“Good! I’m glad you like it, but… well… It’s the only one in existence right now. I spent a while last night getting it ready.” Iggy responded. “I was more thinking that these would be for when you are out on patrol, as Typhoon, you know... Seems like a waste to use the super stealthy diaper when you are just sitting around my apartment. I’m sorry I got your hopes up.”

Gale sighed. “So… I’m still stuck in these diap… ugh. diapers?”

“During the day, yeah.” Iggy said. “I mean, I could make more of these, it’s just, then I couldn’t devote as much time at all to actually getting you back to normal.”

“Ah. Got it.” Gale nodded, disappointed but understanding.

               “Yeah.” Iggy said.

“Probably best to use those sparingly then.” Gale said.

“Yep, but at least now you should be able to get back to your patrols.” Iggy said.

Gale nodded nervously. Even with a super discreet diaper, Gale felt hesitant about heading back out there.

“Well anyway, I should get back to it.” Iggy says, motioning towards his workshop.

“Sounds good. I was just going to shower and change anyway.” Gale says.

The day passed by uneventfully, except for several diaper changes. Gale was still completely unaware of his wetting, and with the added thirst form the nanobots that healed his ribs, he was wetting very often. By that evening, he’d emptied the pack of diapers that Iggy had got for him. By that evening, it was clear that Iggy wasn’t having any luck with the root cause of the incontinence yet. After Gale changed into his last diaper, he went out to the workbench to tell Iggy that he needed more. But as he approached, he realized that Iggy was fast asleep at his workbench. Gale sighed. He knew this was how Iggy had always been, sleeping in fits, wherever, but seeing it up close was tough. Gale would rather have Iggy get enough sleep than push so hard to solve this thing.

“Alright, come here..” Gale said quietly, leaning down and picking Iggy up. Iggy slept right through it. Gale couldn’t do much to help Iggy, but getting him to a more comfortable bed was easy enough. Gale carried Iggy to his bedroom and laid him down, tucking him under the covers.

Gale knew Iggy was asleep, but spoke up anyway, whispering, “I’m heading out for a bit. Be back later.”

And with that, Gale left. He ran a few errands. First, he went to a pharmacy and got two more packs of diapers for himself. He had gone through six of them that day, so he knew he’d need quite a few. He also picked up some real groceries, and a few more things from his apartment. It took quite a while, and by the time he’d gotten back, it was getting late, and Gale’s diaper was full. Even after only a day and a half, Gale was getting used to them. His diaper changes were going quicker, and he was getting better at realizing when he needed to change. That night, he decided to make Iggy a real meal. So, while Iggy was asleep, Gale was hard at work, making something special.

A while later, he went back to Iggy’s room. “Hey, you awake in here?” Gale asked.

               Iggy groaned.

“Good.” Gale walked in happily. And with him came the scent of a delicious meal. Iggy bolted upright and stared at Gale.

               “You made food.” He said.

“Yep. Now get up, or it’ll get cold.”

Iggy didn’t need to be told twice, hopping right out of bed and following Gale to the kitchen, where a beautiful spread was laid out.

“I figure you’d appreciate a home-cooked meal.” Gale smiled, seeing Iggy’s excited face.

“You made food! It’s like… we’re married!” Iggy said.

“Whoa whoa. Calm down. Don’t make it weird, ok? It’s just a meal.” Gale said.

Iggy smiled. “Suuuure… You can’t hide it, you’re falling for me.” Iggy joked.

“I can clean all this up, right now if you want.” Gale threatened.

“No no! Please, I never get to have real food.” Iggy said.

“I was just joking, now sit down.” Gale said.

They sat down together, eating happily, and Iggy explained how the creation of good food had always eluded him. He understood HOW he was supposed to do it, but when it came time to make it, everything he tried would just go horribly. Iggy had given up cooking altogether, eating only frozen meals or takeout.

“Well, I can make you food every day, if you want.” Gale said.

               “Really?” Iggy asked, thrilled.

“Sure. I kinda like cooking.” Gale said. “I dunno.”

“Amazing! This is the best!” Iggy said, digging in to his second helping. Gale had no idea how Iggy fit so much food into his little body, but he did. “When you get back from patrol tonight, maybe you can make something else? Like… cinnamon rolls?” Iggy asked.

“Wow, making demands already, huh?” Gale joked. “Sure. But… I’m still not sure I am going to.”

“Oh not this again. Come on, you have to. You have to at least try that new diaper I made for you.”

               “I know, but..”

“No. You are going out tonight, and that’s final.” Iggy demanded.

Gale sighed. “Alright, but only for a little bit. A few hours, max.”

               “Deal.” Iggy said.

A while after dinner, Gale was ready to go out on patrol. He’d packed his backpack with his normal patrol stuff, and added a diaper as well.

“Just in case.” Gale thinks to himself. He puts in all of the other supplies he would need and heads into the workshop, where Iggy is working.

“Ok. I guess I am going to leave now.” Gale says.

“Oh awesome!” Iggy says. “I’m glad you are going back out. I was worried you were going to give up the gig entirely. Unfortunately, you have to use your old uggo super suit. I left it over there.” Iggy points to a chair where the green and white outfit wass waiting. “Oh. And the D.I.A.P. is right here.” Iggy hands him the small, speedo-like undergarment.

Gale takes it in hand. “Thanks.”

“Definitely let me know if any adjustments need to be made. It should be your size, but who knows.” Iggy says. “It is just a prototype after all.”

“Sure thing.” Gale responds. He walks over and grabs his old suit, stuffing it and the prototype diaper into his backpack. He would change into it somewhere else.

Gale went to the freight elevator and took it up. He liked to start up high and go from there. Unfortunately, since he was at Iggy’s, he couldn’t use his normal starting point, but this building was tall enough that he felt ok. And since it was mostly empty, he would be able to change in peace. Gale arrived at the top floor and exited the elevator. He climbed one more flight of stairs until he was on the roof. He looked around. It was quiet. And there weren’t any other buildings looking down on him here. He was safe. Gale tossed down his bag and pulled out everything he needed.

“Shoot. I forgot to ask Iggy if I still need to use lotion and powder.” Gale said to himself. “Probably do.”

Gale takes off his pants, standing there in just his diaper and a t-shirt. Gale takes off the diaper, which had grown a little bit wet. He cleans himself off, then puts some lotion on and rubs it around. As he does, he checks his surroundings again nervously. It would be very awkward if someone saw him now. Gale grabbed the speedo-like diaper and holds it up. It certainly didn’t look like a diaper. No tapes or anything. Gale grabbed the powder and sprinkled some on himself, doing a poor job because of the wind, and the fact that he had to pull the new diaper on like a pull-up.

Gale slipped his legs into the diaper and pulled it up. They slid up easily. It was a little tight, but felt just like underwear. They were ever so slightly thicker than his normal underwear, but compared to the M4s, the thickness was nothing. Gale smiled. He liked them a lot so far. Then Gale looked at the super suit. The old one, with the cape that he loved. Gale sighed nostalgically.

“Alright.” He said, taking off his shirt. He put away all of his supplies, and then realized he still needed to find a spot for his used diaper. Gale cringed as he grabbed it.

“I can’t put it in with my other stuff.” He thought to himself. “I’ll just find a garbage somewhere I guess.”

Gale set the backpack in the corner of the roof, hidden from prying eyes, and then slipped on his super suit. As he pulled it on, he again became Typhoon, protector of Triton City.

Typhoon smiled as he stepped up to the roof. It was good to be back working. He grabbed the wet diaper in his hand, and then thought better of flying around with it. He couldn’t be seen with it. After a moment of contemplation, he just set it next to his backpack, to throw away later.

Typhoon jumped off the roof and started gliding around the city, enjoying the feeling of the wind. Iggy’s new diaper felt no different than his normal underwear, and he reminded himself to thank Iggy for going to the trouble of making it.

He eventually set down at one of his usual monitoring places. He pulled out his police radio and started listening. The first half hour passed by quietly, except for his growing thirst. He stood up, wondering where he could get some water. Eventually he decided to just head down to a nearby corner store. His mouth felt so dry. Thankfully, he always kept a few bucks in his suit just in case of emergencies like this one. Typhoon slowly glided down to street level. The area was mostly quiet, but a few people down the street see him. He would have to go quickly, or there would be a mob of people asking for pictures. One of them, a young boy, waved excitedly towards Typhoon. Typhoon waved at them and walked into the corner store. Inside was quiet. Only a sleepy clerk was seated behind the register. Two boys were in the back looking at energy drinks, but didn’t glance up. The clerk’s eyes were glued to his phone, and didn’t notice as the hero walked towards the refrigerator section. Gale looked at the selection, and then decided that he should probably just get a gallon jug. He could always not finish it, but it would be awkward to have to do this again. He reached down and grabbed it, and then walked toward the register. At that moment though, the two teen boys in the back of the store noticed Typhoon.

“Hey! Nice suit, dude! That’s a classic.” One of them called, a little jeeringly. “You going to a convention or something?”

Typhoon ignored them. The clerk was startled off of his phone and looked up. Typhoon smiled behind his mask as he walked to the register. Typhoon placed the gallon jug, a pack of Mike and Ike’s, and a ten dollar bill on the counter.

“I’ll take these to go.” Typhoon said, using the manly voice that adopted when he donned his cape. The voice never did much to hide the fact that he had always been wearing a bright pink and white spandex suit, but Typhoon had to do something to save his masculinity. Now though, he was in the classic green one, and felt much cooler.

Thankfully, these people thought he was just another cosplayer. Little did they know, he was the real deal. Typhoon grabbed the change and stuffed it away. Then he took the two things he’d bought and walks to the door.

The teen boy called out after him sarcastically. “See you, Typhoon!”

The other one laughed. Typhoon turned to face them as the door closed, then summoned a gust of wind and launched himself in the air. He laughed as he imagined their shocked faces when they realized that they’d just made fun of the real deal. He lifted the mask up above his mouth and took a deep drink of the water. He had quite a bit, trying to sate his unending thirst. Exhaling deeply, he set the jug back down. He’d drank nearly half of it all at once. Satisfied, he grabbed the candies and opened them up. He sat back and listened to the scanner, turning his eyes to the sky.

As he sat there, listening to the scanner, his thoughts were interrupted by the familiar hissing sound he’d grown accustomed to. He was peeing again. Typhoon stood up and looked down at his crotch as he felt his strange new diaper start to warm up. Somehow, now that he was dressed up as his strong alter-ego, he felt even more humiliated by his current predicament. He felt the new diaper start to expand between his legs. After a moment, he stopped peeing. He reached down and feels his crotch. The diaper had expanded a bit. Typhoon hadn’t expected that. Now, in his suit, it looked a bit like he was packing a little more heat down there, compared to normal. Typhoon sighed. There always had to be a downside. Yet, even after taking a whole wetting, this new D.I.A.P., as it was called, was still thinner than the other diapers.

An hour passed, then two. The police scanner was mostly silent. A few minor calls, but nothing worth Typhoon’s time. By this time, his water jug was empty, as was his box of candies, but his diaper was a little bit fuller. He’d lost track of time, when a call finally came through. A fire in an apartment building! That was just Typhoon’s style.

Typhoon hopped up and stretched. He got the address, turned off the scanner, and then jumped off the building. As he flew, he finally realized how much his new diaper had expanded. Now, the bulge had extended down past his crotch, and was starting to press outwards against his thighs. But with no time to waste, he ignored it and flew towards his destination. He was still discreet enough.

Upon arrival, it was clear that the fire department would be unable to put out the blaze. The building, a ten-story apartment building had been engulfed. The middle three floors were totally ablaze, and the fire would be spreading upwards very quickly. Typhoon landed on the ground by the fire trucks. Many residents of the building were outside in their pajamas, terrified and clutching what possessions they could grab.

“Sir! What’s the situation?” Typhoon asked as he glided to the fire chief. The chief didn’t hesitate. Even in his old super suit, the chief knew that this was no fake.

“Fire! We’ve emptied out the lower floors, but we won’t have enough time to empty the upper floors with the ladders before this whole place crumbles!” A mustached fireman covered in soot replied, clearly grateful that the hero had shown up.

“That’s my specialty! Do what you can. I’ll start at the top and work my way down.” Typhoon yelled, before propelling himself into the air.

He landed on the roof where a few people had gathered. They were terrified, but let out a cheer as their savior landed in front of them.

“Ok folks!” Typhoon said heroically. “I can take one at a time. Who’s first?”

Typhoon worked diligently through the heat, carrying people down from the roof. Eventually, he started working through the floors one by one, blowing into apartments, checking the rooms, and then flying out. He worked quickly, as the flames spread. He used his powers to try and blast the flames away from himself as he got further into the inferno. Eventually, it got to be too much, and he was forced back down to the ground.

“Is that everyone?” Typhoon asked as he landed, coughing a bit on the smoke. It was moments like this that made him appreciate Iggy’s work on the other suit. This old thing didn’t have any kind of air filtration system, like the other.

A woman ran up to him hysterically. “My baby! You have to get my baby!” She yelled, pounding on his chest.

Typhoon’s eyes grew big. A baby was still in there? “What room?” He asked.

               “623! Hurry!” She screamed.

Typhoon blasted into the air one more time. Unbeknownst to him, many people had now taken out their cellphones to film him in his glory. He burst into the sixth floor, summoning the wind around him to try and shield himself. He barreled into the hallway, and quickly tried to locate the correct unit. He found it quickly and burst inside. He could hear a baby crying and sighed in relief. At least it was still alive. He blew down a bedroom door and found the baby’s room. Fortunately, the flames hadn’t entered yet. He ran over to it and picked it up. He blasted the window out of the wall with a gust of air and jumped out. He glided to the ground.

Cheers let out from the crowd as he approached with the infant, who was still crying loudly. He handed the baby to the mother, who was bawling in happiness and relief. Typhoon basked in the glory for a moment as the crowd gathered around him. They started talking to him, thanking him, shaking his hand.

That’s when Typhoon smelled something. He’d grown so accustomed to the smoke smell that he hadn’t realized. The smell was coming from him! He glanced down and realized that the diaper had expanded much more than before. What before looked like nothing more than a particularly impressive package had become a painfully obvious balloon around his waist. Even worse was the back. Apparently, he’d had another accident and hadn’t realized. The messy load had mushed around significantly. Trying his best to stay calm, he spoke up.

“Ok everyone! That’s it for me! I must be off!” He said, his voice shaking a little.

The crowd all thanked him for helping, each person wanting to come over and shake his hand, but after the 7th person, he decided it was too risky. Without shaking any more hands, he jumped into the air and flew off. Gale was annoyed at himself for messing himself, then his ire switched to Iggy. He wouldn’t have even been out today if not for Iggy’s stupid invention! Summoning a cloud of fog around himself, he flew back home, eager to change out of his diaper.

Gale made it back to Iggy’s quickly. The massive diaper around his waist was beginning to cause problems for him though. He saw the roof where he had stashed his normal clothes and slowly glided down. The fog he had summoned to cover himself stretched out thick around him, covering several blocks. No one would notice him up here. As he landed, Gale stumbled. The thick diaper between his legs made his usual landing awkward. He fell forward hard, legs splayed out wide behind him. Muttering furiously, Gale sat up, trying to take stock of the situation. He looked down at his own crotch and was shocked to see just how much the diaper had expanded. There was no doubt about what he was wearing. The diaper was comically large now. Whatever Iggy had put in there seemed like it just expanded and expanded and never stopped! Even now, Gale felt like the diaper was still expanding. Gale couldn’t close his legs, not even a little. His feet splayed out awkwardly underneath him as he tried to stand back up. Then the smell hit him again. Oof.. he needed to get out of this right away. Gale took a few wobbly steps over to his bag.

Gale pulled out a fresh diaper and supplies. He quickly stripped out of his suit and took one more glance down at the strange undergarment Iggy had made for him. Without the suit holding it up, the diaper now sagged heavily under its own weight. It stretched unnaturally downward past Gale’s knees. Gale couldn’t believe how much it had expanded. A few hours ago, it had looked like as delicate and flimsy as a speedo! And now, it was a massive, smelly balloon, pressing his legs apart. Gale pulled it down, letting it fall onto the ground. It slumped over, unnaturally. In a state of total humiliation, Gale cleaned himself up, using nearly all the wipes he had left to get clean. Gale was ashamed at how glad he felt to get the new, regular diaper on. He taped up the fresh one and then put on his normal clothes, stuffing the suit back into his pack. He swore to himself that this would be the last time he went out as Typhoon until Iggy figured this whole situation out.

Gale stared down at the used D.I.A.P.. He had no idea what to do with it. He knew better than to leave one of Iggy’s inventions out for anyone to find, much less one with so much potential to cause him embarrassment. Gale would have to bring it back to Iggy’s somehow. Plus, Gale knew that Iggy would be upset if he didn’t bring it back for further testing. Gale sighed. He would have to carry it. He picked it up. It was incredibly heavy, and since the material was so stretchy, it was difficult to actually hold in his hands. Gale did his best to wrap it around itself, in order to hide its contents, and then prayed. He didn’t have far to go. Just one elevator ride. Gale walked down to the elevator, glad that Iggy lived in such an unpopulated area. Gale pressed the button and waited. His backpack over his back, and the diaper in his hands. The elevator arrived. Empty. Thank goodness.

Gale stepped inside and then hit the button for Iggy’s. Thankfully, the elevator went straight down, not stopping at a single floor. Gale praised his luck as he stepped into Iggy’s once again. Inside, the sound of a television echoed around the room. Immediately, he tossed the used diaper down on the floor. He did not want to be touching that any more than he already had to. Gale found Iggy standing in front of a television, watching intently.

“Hey!” Gale shouted. He was ready to give Iggy a piece of his mind. “That D.I.A.P. thing was-“ But Gale was interrupted by what he saw on the television.

“I can’t believe it.” Iggy whispered, not at all reacting to Gale’s loud entrance.

On the television was an emergency news broadcast. A prison breakout. Gale stared at the images on screen. Stockland Prison, where the most dangerous of Triton City’s criminals were held was on fire, smoke billowing into the night sky. Helicopters circled above, spotlights vainly trying to penetrate the thick smoke. On air, the newscasters were speaking quickly.

“As of yet, there is no news as to how many are injured, or what caused this explosion. At the moment, police are working with the prison to attempt to get an accurate headcount, and evacuate prisoners from the burning building. Firefighters are working to contain the blaze, but at the moment, as you can clearly see, the fire is very much out of control. What we DO know is this- the maximum-security bloc exploded at 2:23am, followed by another, smaller explosion only a few moments later. We will be back with more, after this.”

Gale stared. “I have to go.” He said, immediately forgetting about his complaint from earlier.

“Go.” Is all Iggy said

Gale pulled his suit back out and quickly put it on over his normal diaper. He had sworn not to go out again, but this was a special circumstance.

A few moments later, Typhoon was soaring towards the prison, located in the hills just outside of Triton City. He could see the smoke billowing from quite a distance. As he approached, he scanned the ground for a fire crew. The ground around the prison was abuzz with activity. Prison buses were sitting, packed full of prisoners. Typhoon landed next to the fire crews. One saw him land and ran over, clearly glad that the hero was there.

“Why aren’t you trying to put out the fire?” Typhoon demanded at the fire crews. Their trucks were sitting there, but not a hose was firing. Not waiting for an answer, Typhoon raised his hands. He could put out this blaze all at once. “Get ready for something amazing!” Typhoon shouted. He would show these people what he could do.

“Hold on!! There’s still a lot of people in there!” The firefighter responded. “You can’t! The weight of water could take whole building down!”

Typhoon sighed. He was exhausted already, and he didn’t want to spend any more time here than he had to. In the back of his mind, there was another issue pressing him to move quickly. He knew that this diaper wouldn’t last very long, especially with how much he’d already drank. He could tell that he’d already wet it on the way here.

“Fine.. Just… give me a radio and get the building evacuated as soon as possible. I’ll go in and find as many as I can.” He responded. The firefighter gave him a walkie-talkie, and Typhoon quickly barked out a few orders to the crews for how they could assist him. He was tired and impatient. He clasped the walkie-talkie to his waist and without another word, flew up, trying to gaze down into the building. But the smoke billowed out and he got caught in it carelessly, forgetting that his old suit didn’t have any air filtration system. He coughed a few times, gliding away from the billowing building. He caught his breath.

“Alright. Then let’s do this.” He said to himself.

Typhoon flew down into the prison, using a blast of wind to clear the smoke and steam. He landed and saw a few crews of firefighters carrying an badly burned prisoner out of the main building. The blaze was roaring strongly. If he could just unleash his powers, he could put out the blaze in a matter of seconds. But Typhoon didn’t want to hurt the firefighters. The crews were working from south to north, trying to evacuate prisoners. Unfortunately, it was clear that some of the prisoners were trying to use this opportunity to their advantage. Typhoon looked around, then decided that he was best to go to the north side of the prison, where the explosion had occurred. Maybe he could find something out. The cause of the explosion. He flew off and landed in a small area between the main building and the north wall. Before Typhoon could even take stock of the area, he heard a familiar voice.

“Finally.” A woman’s voice echoed from the smoke. It was a scratchy, sneering voice. One that Typhoon had heard many times before. “I knew you would come. That’s why I waited. Waited and waited. What took you so long? I was starting to worry.” A blast of fire pulsed out from the smoke, directly towards Typhoon. He summoned a burst of wind, dissipating the fire moments before it would have fried him to a crisp.

“Now now, Pyrogue.” A familiar voice chastised. Typhoon couldn’t quite place it though. “Wait until I get the good doctor here to safety before you go blowing the place up. The doc isn’t so spry on his feet these days.”

Three figures stepped from the smoke. A woman and two men. Two wore prison outfits, tattered and burnt in a few places. Typhoon instantly recognized all three. The woman was Pyrogue, master of blazes. Typhoon had caught her eight months ago. She was one of the most sadistic villains that Typhoon had ever had to deal with. She’d been responsible for dozens of fires throughout the city, many that claimed lives. And her only reason for starting them: She wanted Typhoon’s attention. She wanted a good fight.

The other figure in a prison outfit was Dr. Daze. He had been a particularly hard villain to catch. He had somehow been forcing normal people to carry out his plans for him, never leaving the safety of his lab. And then after the deed was done, his victims would always completely forget about anything that they’d done. It made it particularly hard to charge normal criminals with crimes, as each of them would claim to have been under Dr. Daze’s control. His gray hair was longer now, and he walked unsteadily. He had seen better days, but fighting was never his strong-suit. It was his mind that terrified Typhoon.

And last, was the massive man that Typhoon knew as Sap-man. He had his arm out, which Dr. Daze clung to desperately as he stepped over rubble. Typhoon couldn’t let them escape.

“You’re caught.” Typhoon said confidently. “Don’t resist and I won’t hurt you.”

Pyrogue snorted. She split off from the two men, walking to Typhoon’s left, while they went right. “Well, looks like you are still as confident as ever, sexy boy. What happened to your old suit? I liked the pink version.” Her scratchy voice brought shivers down Typhoon’s spine.

“It’s in the shop. Now, put up your hands, and you won’t get hurt.” Typhoon demanded, holding one hand out at each group.

“The shop? Was there an accident?” Pyrogue taunted. She continued circling him.

Typhoon hesitated. There was no way she could know about that, right? How could she have found out? And now, his position was terrible. If they acted now, he would have them at his front and rear.

“I said, put up your hands.” Typhoon said again.

“Oh, I’ll show you my hands!” Pyrogue screamed, raising her hands, balls of fire forming around them.

“Wait!” Sap-man ordered. His voice boomed loudly. Pyrogue lowered her hands, glaring at Sap-man angrily. “Wait until the doctor and I have gotten to safety. If you burn the doctor to a crisp, then I can’t promise you anything.” Sap-man ordered. He turned back to the doctor and they walked towards the massive hole in the outer wall, chatting.

Pyrogue just stood there, grinning excitedly. She was waiting. That’s the chance Typhoon needed. He turned towards Sap-man and the doctor, raising his fists to create a massive gust of wind.

Sap-man looked over and smiled. “You should probably focus on her first.”

Typhoon turned just in time to see a foot flying at his face. Pyrogue had acted! She had used a blast of fire to launch herself at him at high speed. The kick connected, and Typhoon flew backwards, landing amid the rubble. Smoke closed in around. He kipped up, just in time to see Sap-man and the doctor disappearing through the hole.

“Darn.” He muttered. He started running towards the hole. He had to catch them! Sap-man most of all… If Gale could get Iggy that weird tech that Sap-man has, he could probably reverse the damage that was done to him!

“He told you. To focus. ON ME!” Pyrogue screamed, catching Typhoon off guard again. Her blaze propelled kick sent him flying back into the burning building. Smoke and ash filled his field of view. Gale stood up and created a gust of wind, clearing the area of smoke. He was in a hallway, prison cells on either side, all open, all empty. He turned and saw her standing there, just down the hall, her fists balled into massive flames.

“I’ve been dying for a fight for EIGHT MONTHS!” She yells. “And you won’t even look at me!”

“Sorry about that, Pyrogue.” Typhoon responded, wiping the blood from his nose. “I’m all ears now.”

Sap-man and the doctor would have to wait. Typhoon couldn’t act with Pyrogue running amok.

“Good.” She smiles. “Enough chit-chat. Let’s rumble.”

Pyrogue charges. Flames burst from her feet as she careens toward him, fists raised. Typhoon summons a massive gust, sending it forward. It hits Pyrogue, knocking her backward. The gust continues and buffets the back wall, sending chunks of debris flying outside. There is a massive creak as the building shifts.

“Careful.” Pyrogue smiles, standing up. “If you go all out, this whole place will come crashing down on us!”

“Yeah? You’re probably right. But you would die too, right?” He asked.

“Maybe that’s exactly what I want.” She said. Something about her voice made Typhoon believe her.

Typhoon couldn’t risk collapsing the place. There were probably still firefighters or inmates in the building. Not to mention he’d never had a building collapse on top of him before, and he didn’t want to start now.

“A more personal touch then.” Typhoon said, raising his arms and clenching his fists.

               “Perfect.” Pyrogue responded.

They charged again. This time, Typhoon only used his powers lightly, to increase his speed and power. Pyrogue was being careful too. She obviously didn’t want the building to collapse either. Unfortunately for Typhoon, martial arts were not his strength. He went for an uppercut and Pyrogue easily dodged and jabbed him in the ribs. He winced and tried a kick. The diaper wasn’t helping either. It felt restrictive around his waist. Pyrogue blocked the kick and gave him a kick of her own, right to the chest. Typhoon flew back a few feet, landing on his knees. He coughed painfully, gasping for air.

“There we go. That’s where you belong.” She sneered.

Typhoon stood up and raised his fists again. A little more power. He boosted his powers a bit. Pyrogue charged, and this time, Typhoon was able to block her punch, knocking her sideways against the wall. She fell to the ground, laughing.

“Finally trying, I see!” She said. “Well, I will too then!”

She flew up, swinging around erratically. Typhoon saw her fist coming only to realize too late that it was a feint. Her leg sweeps his feet and he falls flat on the ground. She stood above him and put her foot on his neck. Typhoon choked as she presses down.

“This wasn’t nearly as much fun as I had wanted.” She says coldly. “You bore me.”

All of a sudden, static bursts through the walkie-talkie that the firefighter had given him. “All clear, Typhoon sir! All are accounted for!”

Typhoon grinned. Pyrogue’s expression changed. He could go for it now. And they both knew who would win in an all-out brawl. They’d experienced that only eight months prior, when Typhoon had thoroughly beaten Pyrogue. He summoned up a massive burst of air, knocking her all the way through the wall and back outside. He then summoned up a massive rainstorm in an instant. A typhoon. His namesake. Wind whipped through the building. Rain pounded down outside in sheets, quickly subduing the fire.

“Time for you to go back to your cell, Pyrogue.” Typhoon said. It was at these moments, when he could let loose his true power that Typhoon became the true terror to the villains of Triton City. Pyrogue stared at him in fear, then grinned and started laughing.

“What!?” Typhoon shouted through the wind and rain.

Pyrogue pointed up, her mouths wording something that Typhoon couldn’t hear. He looked up just in time to see the building come crashing down towards him. He quickly created a buffeting barrier of wind around him as the massive building collapsed around him. Thousands of tons of rubble crashed down, and his barrier of wind barely held. Eventually, the rubble settled around him. A massive steel beam had crashed down, right above him. If his barrier let out, it would surely crush him to death. He was exhausted, too. He hadn’t used his powers so much in a single day in a long time. Taking a few deep breaths, Typhoon extended out his arm towards the rubble directly in front of him. He blasted out a small tunnel to the outside. He crawled through it and after a few harrowing moments, saw the sky. His rain had stopped. He’d lost concentration on it when the building collapsed.

He looked around. Pyrogue was gone. Sap-man and Dr. Daze were gone. This was a disaster. Typhoon stood up. Normally, he would go and help the firefighters and police more, but right now, he just wanted to go home. He summoned up a weak gust of air underneath him and started gliding away, a failure.

He arrived back at Iggy’s, exhausted.

“Hey there. You ok?” Iggy said, walking up to him.

“Not really.” Gale responded. He stripped out of his suit, leaving him in just the diaper. It had taken quite a beating. It must have split open during his fight, because the absorbent material was pouring out of it onto the floor. Iggy looked down at the mess, grimacing. Gale was too tired to care.

“I’m gonna sleep now.” He said groggily, un-taping the destroyed diaper and letting it fall to the floor with a sickening thud. Naked, he stumbled to the bedroom. He didn’t care about the mess, or Iggy seeing him naked. He just wanted sleep.

He collapsed into the bed, still naked, and exhaled deeply.

He heard the door open and Iggy’s walk in. “Hey. Do you need some help?” The tentative question barely registered in Gale’s mind. Gale groaned something unintelligible.

“Alright, here, let me help you, ok? You can just go to sleep.” Iggy said. Gale needed no further instruction, slipping into unconsciousness.
