Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Caregiver (Private With Nappy_Queen)

The year is 2031 in the cold cold lands of Hokkaido Japan. Its been 7 years since World War IV ended and with technology constantly advancing, whether due to life conveniences or due to fear of more war, that leaves many people with many new ways to make a living. Down in the back alleys of Sapporo's undercity. A young 18 year old by the name of Wakai Tsukiõji is in his little "office" working on black market cybernetics for those who either can't afford mainline cybernetics or want some illegal grade stuff put on for a high price. His golden brown skin covered in sweat showing his body isn't entirely cybernetic and his long black hair currently in a pony tail. He does have cybernetic arms which help him with precision during his work and his cybernetic brain has a special implant for....personal use. As he works he tries to keep his mind off of the saggy diaper drooping bellow his skirt and that would match his lab coat if it wasrt so yellow. He is trying to get this job done so he can get home and relax in a certain someone's arms.

The war had changed the world. Some say for the better others would disagree. In the past 7 years since the end of the war technology has had more advance than in the last 100 years before it. Over the years a plethora of companies have popped up always claiming to have the latest in technological advancements. It was a joke how could any company lay such a claim when technology advanced almost daily it seemed. Technology had changed the world made things work differently then they had before but the world was still full of people and people...well they never change.

The alleyways were empty save for the random wonderer as night drew closer. Truly the alleyways of Sapporro were never empty if you knew where to look. The world greatest minds could be found in the back alleys willing to sell their trade for the right price. A young woman of 25 Mirena Hamato walked down the alleyways a confidence about her that warned troublemakers she wasn't one to be rifled with. The heel of her black boots echoed off the pavement. Her natural curly textured hair worn down. With a natural glow that wasnt seen much in the world anymore.

No she hadn't bought completely into the cybernetic fascination well except for her onyx black cybernetics arms/hands. Mirena was one of the best hackers/programmers around if you knew who to ask. She had gotten the cybernetic enhancements to make her even better at her skill. She wore a black denim jumpsuit that hugged all her womanly curves. Mirena was in this alley for one reason and one reason only.

She unlocked the door to what looked to be an old rundown arcade. Down the empty hall she walked and opened the last door at the end of the hall. She stood and watched as Wakai worked and smirked. Knowing him he probably hadn't even realized she came in. She cleared her throat and stepped into the workspace. " Someone isn't watching the time." She walked behind him and wrapped her arms around the boy's torso. " You were supposed to be home an hour ago" she whispered in his ear.

Wakai jumped when he felt the hug. He was so entranced in his work. Luckily he wasn't messing with anything vital. This client wanted their cyber brain free of its limitations so they can try and get as many implants that they want. Wakai tried to warn them that it would leave them open to hackers but they promised to pay him to install the implants when they got it so after warning them already he couldn't turn down the extra cash. He'd just make sure to up charge them. But anyway back to what currently has his attention "I sowwy Mommy" he says in his baby like voice "This is taking a bit longer then expected but I'm almost done." He says as he turns a few screws and reinsert the brain and close the head on their cybernetic body and lets them wake back up. They get excited and look like they're ready to take over the world. Wakai tells them to pay up. They toss him a stuffed envelope of ¥1,000,000 in bills and heads out. "Ok mommy Kai-Kun ready to come home!" He says excitedly turning the settings on his implants to that of a four year old. He'll set it lower when they get home but wants to see how people will react to him setting his brain just that low. He rubs the back of his neck where there are three ports to put cords into and connect to machines or even other cyborgs before letting his hair down.

Mirena shook her head seeing what he was working on.  Someone had convinced her little one to take a last minute job. The cybernetic eye job he was working on when she left should have been Kai-kun's last job. She kissed the top of his head and let him finish working. While he finished his current job she began cleaning up his work area putting things in their proper place so she could get her little one home quickly.

" You know mommy doesn't like you out this late by yourself pumpkin. Next time you need to call me, you can't be out walking the streets at night especially by yourself". 

While she didn't specialize in cybernetics living with her little genius she learned a thing or two and recognized the illegal and very risky implant Wakai installed. She smirked seeing a job coming her way in the short future. She waited for the customer to leave before continuing their conversation.

" Do you want mommy to hold your money until we get home or can you be a big girl and hold onto it ?"  She felt how soaked her babies diaper was and sighed. " Lets get you home angel you still need dinner and a bath and its getting close to someones bed time". She hadnt brought Kai-kun diaper bag so for now he would have to stay in the saggy soaked diaper until they got home.

Once she made sure Wakai had all his things she led him out of the building locking up behind them. She held her little ones hand and kept him close as the alleyway had gotten busier since she had come inside.

Wakai happily hummed to himself.happy to be getting home from "pre-school" as his implants are telling him. Luckily he isn't a full cyborg and his brain is still 95% organic so there's not much to take advantage of. However he is hackable. Such is the case for anyone who does any cyberization no matter how minimal. Someone could hack his implant through his nanomachines in the back of his neck and manually change his mental age and alter his memories, a very puppet master style move. He clung to his Mommy as they creeped through the alleys before heading to their apartment building. They kept work out of home so they made sure their apartment wasn't anywhere near where they lived. They needed a head start if cops busted in on their work, people without their best interest in mind as well. Wakai gave his Mommy the envelope as he trusts her more than anyone.  He has no choice but to. After all he asked her to do the most dangerous and illegal job she's ever done. He had her hack his memories so he only remembers her as his biological mother.

Mirena smiled and tucked the envelope down into her knee high boots. She led her little one out of the alleyway and down the street where their car was parked. By herself she would have walked home or taken public transit. This part of the city could get quite rough at night not that it was a breeze during the day. With her little one though she took no chances.

Her cybernetic hands acted as a remote unlocking the car when they were near enough. Mirena opened the back door and helped Kai-kun into the pink booster seat. Fastening her baby in she kissed his forehead and gave him a stuffed teddy bear to play with. " Lets get you home sweetie, you must be hungry after playing all day at preschool". 

Mirena had designed the program that Kai-kun used her proudest achievement. She was always developing ways to improve this program and designing new layers of security to protect her little one from any would be hackers. She still shuddered remembering when someone had hacked into her little one and made him forget his mommy. It had taken weeks to calm her baby and rebuild his program. 

Mirena started the vehicle and drive toward their apartment.  They lived in a nicer area than they worked. No one would ever suspect the two of them were black market criminals. Their apartment was near the local police department allowing them to back into and monitor if their names ever came up on police radar. Their neighbors were store clerks and city officials. Living in such an area provided the necessary security to not only hide their identity but also ensured Wakai couldnt be so easily hijacked again. 

It took 20 minutes but soon enough Mirena pulled into the garage of their apartment. She smiled as she saw her little one had begun to doze off. Mirena opened the back door and gently lifted Wakai out of his booster seat. Holding him to her she gently rubbed his back. " Wake up baby we're home". She spoke softly as she knew her little one was quite the fussy baby when first waking.

Wakai whined and rubbed his eyes waking back up so suddenly. He nestled his Mommy as he got on his feet. Living where they do does come with its own risks. They can't have anyone recognizing their names and faces between work and home and they needed a good cover story as to how people as young as them were able to live in such an apartment complex. It wasn't fancy or high class enough for them to stick out like sore thumbs and honestly their apartment itself was pretty tiny but the location makes its prices skyrocket.  Their cover up is that Miena is a manga artist working in secret under a pen name so she can't reveal her works. The story works well enough and they keep little art stuff around to make their story look more authentic. Wakai tiredly waddles by his mommy having wet his diaper more while asleep as they move through the parking garage to the lobby area and up the elevator. He wondered what Mommy would have him eat for dinner. Sadly Mommy was too cyberized to be able to eat real food. Once you reach past a certain level of cyberization your body can't take real food and you have to eat this terrible tasting processed protein bars. Mirena may not have a full cyborg body but between all four limbs being prosthetics and the many nanomachines in her body to allow her to do her hacking, most of her brain is cybernetic to be able to process this. So she is counted as half cyborg. Her head and torso are still hers.

Mirena opens the door and ushers her little one inside. She wanted to move them eventually. To a house with a yard her baby could openly play in. For now though they enjoyed their little home. The door locked Mirena picked up her soaked baby and carried him to his very bright pink and yellow nursery. " Lets get you out of this soaked diaper before you get a rash".

She laid Wakai on the changing table and fastened the safety harness so he couldn't roll off. She slid the skirt off her little one revealing the very soaked and very yellow diaper. "Goodness did you put a whole ocean in here". She teased and blew raspberries on his tummy. Opening his diaper she began wiping him down with warm baby wipes.

Raising his legs she wiped down his bottom and put the soiled wipes and diaper in the diaper bin. Since she still had to feed and bath Wakai she chose one of the less padded diapers for light use. He would certainly fill this diaper by bath time. She slid the plain white diaper under his bottom and sprinkled and ample amount of powder on his bum before taping the diaper closed. Releasing the safety harness she sat him up and removed his white lab coat.

In just his diaper and a yellow shirt she set her four year old Wakai down to the floor. " Go play with your toys baby while mommy makes dinner". She smiled as he scrambled off to his toy chest. She knew Kai would lower his age probably while playing so she'd have to keep an eye on him. Mirena went to the kitchen to fix dinner for her hungry baby.

Wakai loved the diaper change as usual. It was such a bonding time for him and Mommy. He couldn't get enough of it. As he was put down in only his diaper and yellow shirt with a flower on the front he immediately set his implants to regress him down to a 20 month old. His implants are set to immediately switch him back to his normal age with certain triggers like a sudden increase in heart rate, a hacker detection, or certain other things. Even when regressed to the lowest mindset he still carries knowledge of his surroundings and knowledge of his implant allowing him to be able to manually change age as he please. This is very advanced technology even by today's standards. Where the systems and programs not highly illegal and were the human testing they did to some people to get it right also not highly illegal they could sell the technology and be set for life. Oh well, Wakai layed on his back and chewed on his plastic keys and grabbed one of his dollies and made it hop around and dance.

Mirena peeked in on Wakai and knew immediately as he chewed on his teething ring he was not her little four year old anymore. He was much to young to just wander about while she cooked. Mirena picked up her playful baby and cooed to him as she set him in his play pen that was in the living room.  It was filled with soft cuddly toys and his baby blanket.

" I think chicken nuggets are off the menu tonight. Hmm I think baby Kai wants macaroni and cheese". She playfully tickled him before starting dinner. Yes they could sell the technology used on his implants and be living the easy life. Mirena thought about the bigger picture. It would expose her baby Kai to a greater possibility of being hacked and people could and would use it in terrible ways.

For now she worked and saved towards their dream home. Within 20 minutes mac n cheese was done she put some in a bowl and set it aside to cool. Mirena walked over to the play pen. " Hmmm is there someone here who is ready to be seated for dinner?"

Wakai giggled and squealed as he was moved from his nursery to just a short few steps out the room into the living room where his playpen was. He shook his rattle and marveled at the anomaly that was his own feet. He was a very happy baby. When Mommy came over he crawled to the edge of the playpen and pulled himself up with the bar. When Mommy asked if he was ready to go to his pink and white highchair to be feed he couldn't help but nod as his implants moved his age slightly up so he could talk a little for the moment "Wes Mommy" his implants moving to nearby ages then what's its set at or regressing far backwards isn't too bad and doesn't strain his brain really but its when he needs to quickly jump back to his normal age that could cause issues. His brain being quickly loaded with what is essentially a lot of personality and knowledge at once can be straining on it and the system. He will likely need to go and get his brain scanned and checked out or therapy or both to make sure no long term damage happens. The issue with working in the shadows is that you may need the light to protect you from its more painful aspects.

Mirena smiled and picked up her bouncy baby. She sat him in the pink and white highchair. Fastening him in she slid the tray in place and tied a purple bib around his neck. Mirena checked that the food was cool enough and sat down in front of the high chair. " Time to feed the baby". 

She began make silly airplane sounds and fed him bite by bite of his dinner. When the food was all gone she went to the fridge and took out a bottle of diluted apple juice. Placing the bottle on the high chair she kissed his head. "Here pumpkin drink your baba while mommy cleans up." Mirena washed the dishes and put away the left over food.

He giggles happily and eats and makes a little mess on his lips with all of the cheese and everything. He felt so much love and devotion from his Mommy and he couldn't get enough of her. He opened wide as she fed him but kept his mouth closed and playfully turned away if she tried to feed him normally. He drank the large bottle made for adults with two hands and suckled happily knowing Mommy was going to feed him her milk later before bed. He knows he's going to be given a bath and decided to make a large mess.

Mirena smiled as her happy baby drank his bottle. She wiped down the counters and put the dishes away. It was still a little early and she knew her little one wasn't quite ready for bath time. She removed the bib and wiped Kai-kun hands and face. Unfastening the high chairbshe picked him up and sat him in his baby bouncer.

Mirena turned on the infant channel and Barney and Friends was playing. His bottle all done Mirena gave Kai his purple princess sofia pacifier. She went to the nursery and laid out a onsie for her little one to wear as it was a warm night and began preparing his bath.

Wakai only knew basic english so he didn't understand everything going on with these characters from the thirty or forty year old western children's show. But honestly that made it all of the more enjoyable because babies wouldn't understand everything being said. He was suprised his mommy could find old videos from pre World War III but those are the perks of a hacker mommy he supposes as he gets engrossed in the pretty music and funny friendly characters as the slow came down outside blanketing Sapporo in snow. His automatic bouncer kept him bouncing and made little sounds to encourage him to bounce on his own which just kept a smile on his face and around his pacifier.

Mirena knew her little one would enjoy the show and waited until ot was almost over to run Wakai bath.  The water running she added his favorite pink bubble bath and rubber duckies to the water.  As the tub filled Mirena walked up and kissed her babies forehead. " Bath time little one". She turned off the TV and lifted Kai-kun out of the bouncer.

She tickled his tummy as she carried him toward the bathroom. Mirena sat Kai on the rug in the bathroom and gently undressed him. Taking each arm out of the shirt then lifting the shirt up and over his head. " Theres mommies little princess". She smiled and untaped the diaper. Lifting him up she gently placed her bouncy baby into the warm water. " upsy daisy".

He giggled as he was carried off to the bathroom for a much due cleaning. He smiled as he was undressed out of his shirt and now soggy nappy and being called a little princess made him smile bigger turning his cheeks rose red. He was placed into the tub and immediately went for the duckies moving it through bubble caves and under water adventures. This sight right here would never make someone think back alley  cybermech. But that is his life. Underground doctor by day. Mommy's little baby at night. And day. Whenever they want to really. He is in such bliss as he plays and gets cleaned. No doubting of one's self, no regrets about who they are, no post war traumas. Its just mommy and baby. Exactly how its meant to be.

Mirena smiles watching her baby play happily. She threw his wet diaper in the trash can and knelt beside the tub. "Mommy sees a messy little baby in need of a cleaning. Don't worry super mommy will save the day". She took out a yellow and pink soft wash cloth and squirted baby wash onto it. She made silly sounds and gently washed down her dirty baby.

Mirena looked forward to their special time each night. Of course Wakai was always her baby but this time was special. At home there were no interruption, no concern for shady people trying to take advantage of or her little one. At home they could be completely care free and she could love on her baby all she wanted.

All clean now Mirena got a big soft pink towel and lifted her silly baby out the tub. She laid him on the changing table and hummed softly as she dried and lotioned Kai-kun from top to bottom. Mirena took out one of the extra thick nighttime diapers. It was pink and had a rainbow pattern on the front that would disappear when the diaper was wet. She slid the diaper under Kai bottom and made sure to sprinkle an ample amount of baby powder before taping the diaper closed.

Mirena sat her little baby up and helped him into a pink sky cloud patterned onsie. Laying him back down she snapped it closed over his diaper. It was going on 7 her little one bedtime. Mirena carried Kai to the rocking chair by his crib and cradled him in her arms as she sat down and spoke softly.

"Its sleepy time angel. Baby Kai is ready for mommies milk now arent you". She cooed softly as she unzipped her top. She didn't often wear a bra having them built into her tops so they wouldn't interfere with nursing her baby. Mirena brought her nipple to Kai mouth. Her breast ached so full of milk as her little one had been so busy today and missed his afternoon nursing. She rocked gently as she fed her baby from her breast.

Wakai relaxed as mommy cleaned, diapered, and dressed her 5 foot tall sissy baby princess. Not a worry in the world between these walls. They go through this almost routinely so he actually did feel sleepy due to usually being put to bed around this time. As he layed in Mommy's lap and curled up in her arms he latched on to her exposed breast as he usually did several times a day. That's why she's able to produce milk. Frequent massages from his lips tricked her body into believing she was pregnant so she lactates. It took a while but it worked and now his body gets to drink her milk and his ghost gets lavished by her heavenly nectar. As soon as he emptied one breast he whimpered for the other until he recieved it and happily repeated the process looking into Mommy's eyes as he eats. He soon finishes and reaches to be burped.

Mirena sang a soft lullaby as Kai-kun emptied her breast. She could see her sissy princess was fighting heavy eyelids as they were already a few minutes past his sleepy time.  Mirena put the burp cloth on her shoulder and rested her sleepy baby over her shoulder. She applied gently but firm pats to his back until she heard the familiar sound of air and a little milk escaping.

She wiped Wakai mouth and stood up. Gently she laid him into the soft cushion of his crib.  Mirena gave the baby his pacifier and his teddy bear. Kissing his forehead she covered him with the soft pink baby blanket.  Mirena turned on the star and moon baby mobile over his crib and it played a soft lullaby. " Goodnight princess sweet dreams "

Mirena zipped her top up and turned off the light a soft glow coming from his buttergly night light. She turned on the baby monitor and left the nursery. 

Her little one tended to she grabbed a protein bar and sat down in her home office.  An idea for a new program had come to her earlier but she had to go pick up her little one from" preschool". A side affect of being half cyborg sometimes she couldn't sleep.  At least tonight she would have something to occupy her until morning.  Mirena began typing away at her computer designing testing and altering the program throughout the night.

Wakai slept happily having quiet dreams of living with mommy with no fear of hackers, cyberterrorists, cops, or impending war. Just Mommy and baby all day every day. But his dreams shift to nightmares. Nightmares of separation. Fear of mommy or him being hacked. Fear of Mommy not recognizing him. Fear of being without. His heart races and he sweats and wets himself and he gets a headache from his implants going into emergency fail safe and jumping back to his normal age. He groans amd squirms in his crib.

Mirena heard Wakai start groan and start to awaken at the same time the program she used to monitor his implants informed her of the activated safety protocol. It was a bit easier on his mind to jump from baby to adult while he was unconscious but still had its risk.  She stopped what she was doing immediately and rushed to the nursery. Turning on the dimmer over head light she gently lifted her big baby out of his crib.  Holding him to her she rubbed his back. "I'm here angel... how are you feeling? Do you know who I am?" It seemed like a simple question be would automatically know but she had to ask to assess the situation and be sure he wasn't suffering any negative effects of the safety protocol. Mirena was already planning on taking Kai-kun in for a check up with this incident she had decided they wouldn't open the shop today and instead would be making that appointment for this afternoon.

"Mommy" he said once her voice registered for him and he hugged her and wrapped her arms and legs around her tightly as he whimpered and nuzzled. As much as his body cried out to her, no matter what age the implant says he is, his ghost cries out to her even louder. He nuzzles her and clings to her tightly. It was a smart idea to get him checked out anyway. It is illegal to cybernize children due to their brains not fully developing and despite how illegal the implant's programming was, lets just say it wasn't hard looking for an 18th birthday present for Wakai. So he hasn't had his implants too long he should get it checked for issues, adjustments, complications, or even the rare cancer like disease cybernization can cause.

Mirena smiled and hugged him tight to her. She kissed his head and carried him to the living room where she sat on the couch. Brushing his hair from his face she looked at him. He looked to be okay but she wanted him checked out to be sure. She had,had reservations about the implants when they had first discussed it.

It had taken her months of writing and rewriting programs before she felt okay with the idea. Even then Mirena had purchased several security programs and broken them down and rebuilt them to strict specifications. She was certain now that her big baby was as safe as she could make him from remote hackers.

Still she knew the risk of the cranial implants and made it a priority her to get him the best care for maintenance. Since he couldn't very well provide the necessary care himself she found someone else. It was 1 in the morning and much to early or late for her little one to be up. 

"Hey princess , how do you feel? Does anything hurt?" She felt his diaper it was wet but not near capacity and she knew she'd have a messy diaper in the morning. " Did mommies baby have a bad dream?"

"Head go owie owie a little Mommy" he says curled up in her lap feeling her check him as nothing could be heard but the heater and their heart beats. He sucked his thumb and nodded yes to his question yes he had a bad dream. But weird thing is as he lays here in his mommy's arms. His head to her chest. Her stromg arms made with good quality artificial skin wrapped around him. He for the life of him couldn't remember what the dream was about. He knows it happened but he couldn't remember what it was. As if Mommy was already making it better by being there. Many things went into his implants and like many programs this wasn't the first version. This was definitely the first successful version but Mommy had tested several prototypes on people to.....varying results.  Some not too bad, some leaving victims with scrambled ages and memories. But to Wakai mommy's actions were only because she loved him so much she wouldn't risk a failed product on him. She's a perfect mother to her son in his eyes
