RJack
Several times. on this website/chat, I have seen the word/expression: "LOL". I have NEVER seen or heard of it anywhere else. What is: "LOL"/ What does it mean (is it a British expression - not used in the USA)? No one that I have ever met has ever said or used "LOL' in any conversation, & I have never seen it in any print (newspapers, magazines, etc). I am aware that the British use some totally different words than Americans; so is this one of those obscure British words (i.e. using "nappies", instead of "diapers" - as we Americans do)? ROTFL All jokeing aside, all these acronyms have gotten a bit ridiculous. I've been on-line for years and i still come across a few that i don't have a clue about. There's no such thing as a stupid question, so if we seem to be making fun of you i'm sorry. I guess if i hadn't asked i wouldn't know either. Link to comment
