Modern Ice Age (Private with Squiregirl18)

A few time Margaret smiled wider then before to Gabrial finding him just the best as he always made her happy by just making even eating seem like a big deal but it made this new world with ice and snow all the time not as worry some or bad. When the food was all gone Margaret wiped his face once more before patting his back waiting to see if he had to burp before going to play. “So you should get at less an hour maybe more of tinkering also try to be quit please” She said still rubbing his back to see if there was any gas.

"Okay mommy. I play with my" he lets out a cute little burp "quietly." He finished as he just layed there on mommy. He doesn't mind not moving from that spot. A warm fire and a loving mommy to go with a full tummy was great to him. He nuzzled her shoulder and relaxed.

Margaret’s smile grew again as she found Gabrial to be cute even his burp was cute. When she felt him cuddle up Margaret pulled closer softly humming the same tune as before and rubbing his back softly. “Gabe honey if you’re tired or want to stay here you can but I don’t know when you might have time again to tinker if not tonight..” With was true as Margaret had an idea of where she wanted to head to the next day and then where to set up their new home but then again it could be all taken and they have to keep going there was no way of fully knowing.

Gabrial nodded and went off and came back with an old hand held Entertainment system. He sat back in mommy's lap and began to take it apart to see how it worked and what all of it's functions were. That way he  could have two things he wants.

At first Margaret was about to say something but all she could get out was a soft giggle finding it just great that Gabrial could have the best of both. Soon she looked closer to what he was doing. “So what are you looking for in this one?” She asked softly still all smiles wanting to show her interest in what he was doing.

He snuggles up in her lap happily next to the nice cozy fire as he pokes around the little system. "I wanna see if we could use it to power other stuff. Maybe use it as a bigger battery in case we can't find any and we need one" he says smiling looking up at mommy Margaret

“Well that’s very sweet honey.” Margaret said back smiling to him and continuing to watch while also rubbing his back some.

He tinkered with it not exactly knowing the ins and outs of the small machine but very determined to learn hours fly bu so quickly while he is so focused that he doesn't even notice that he is yawning or letting dinner come out under him.

Margaret stayed there the whole time watching Gabrial quietly until the smell came along with seeing him yawing a few times. “Gab honey lets get you checked to see if you need a change and then its bedtime okay..” Margaret said as she started to move some to get her bag.

Gabe looked up and nods and lays back across her lap. He puts the device and tools down and puts his thumb in his mouth. He smiles up at mommy waiting to be happily taken care of.

Margaret smiled to him as she pulled her changing stuff close before starting to undo the buttons on the bottom of Gabe’s pjs to show his diaper. “Oh someone needs a change” She said as she set to work getting the old diaper off and cleaning Gabe up with wipes and even cooking a little water as she went to wipe him down with as it was pretty dirty. Yet when she did get him clean and a new diaper onto her boy Margaret smiled wider. “There we go your all done and ready for bed….will you take yourself to the bed?”

He smiled enjoying every little part of the diaper change. It was great and felt wonderful. Mommy Margaret may as well have been an absolute goddess to him at this point. He weighed the options of go to bed himself or mommy carry him.........for all of half of a second "mmmmmmm nuh un" he just layed there and snuggled into mommy.

Margaret shook her head. “Okay then” She moved getting up and then reaching down picking Gabe up. It wasn’t easy by any means but it wasn’t bad as she carried him over to the bed and then laid him down before making sure to pull all the blankets over him tightly. “There now you can’t move but you will be warm” She smiled wider before leaning over to give him a kiss.

He smiled and slowly closed his eyes. He rested easy having happy dreams. He wonders what the next day will have. Anything can happen in this age of snow. The modern ice age.

Margaret was up for a while longer making sure she had a plan of where they would go and what they would do the coming day as now they needed to find food and needed more diaper supplies. After writing down everything and making sure it was set she went to the bed getting in leaving her warm clothes on as then she could use less of the blankets and make sure Gabrial stayed warm

Gabeial slept peacefully as mommy wormed he of course qet himself in the middle of the night but that wasn't anything new. He has a smile in his sleep because it felt good when it was fresh and warm. When it gets cold and clamy though it is actually very uncomfortable.

Margaret slept for a few hours well although she was up early after having a bad dream. “Well better get the fire going” She told herself getting up slowly so not to wake Gabrial up. As she got the fire going she also made some diapers for Gabrial wondering what the day would bring and how to tell Gabrial there wasn’t any breakfast.

Gabrial woke up a bit afrer Margaret and felt himself messing himself. He just let it flow on another cold cold morning. Though it's fairly normal for him and Margaret they're used to this. They'd probably need to spend the day scavenging the lower parts of this building before moving on to another.

Margaret turned when she smelled the mess coming. “Well good morning my little stinky one” She said while smiling only making a joke. “When you’re done come on over and I’ll get you changed first thing so your clean..then we should start pack to get going. We only have warm water this morning as I don’t want to push staying here with only that…” Again Margaret knew well enough they both would be find without food for one meal but it didn’t make her feel good not giving Gabrial a meal as she was his mom now.

"Otay ma-ma" he said as he pushed more out and sighed. He crawled across the cold floor to get to her and layed bzck in her lap as the morning light made her face visible and to him she may as well have been goddess

Margaret smiled to him and gave him a soft hug before heading over to get the diaper stuff. "Alright you ready for a change?" She asked softly not wanting to wake the people next door just in case but also wanting to get things going. "Did you sleep well honey?" Margaret asked softly after a bit now just rubbing his arms some until Gabrial said he was ready for the change.
