Merchants Traveling The Four Nations

They loaded up boxes of supplies into the back of their cart with their two Ostrich-horses at the front. "Dada! Dada! I helpy load up the stuff!" Xiao says jumping up and down giggling hoping dada is proud of him

"Very good baby, now can you make sure the supplies don't fall off while we are traveling." He told the boy happily as he started the long journey to the next village which was almost going out of earth kingdom territory. But luckily they were still within earth-kingdom.

"Uh huh! Uh huh!" He says as he climbs up onto the back of the cart with the boxes and supplies. There's a blanket and some hay back there in case he gets tired as he watches his dada go to the driver's seat and whip the ostrich-horses and they begin their journey to a town where it gets pretty windy in the winter time so theor water tribe merchandise should sell for possibly even gold pieces over there. The place is on the coast of the continent and a little bit away is the western air temple hence the wind. They start their trip going down the mountains which can be a rough ride and leaves you open to bandits if you are not careful

Luckily for them, Jiang was a very careful man and was ready to strike against any bandits that might try and get the jump on them while they were going down the hill and soon enough they reach the halfway point on the mountain without being attacked by bandits and he looks back to see his little boy asleep and he leaves the boy to sleep as he travels down the mountain, just enjoying the view of the mountains and the lovely day they were having

The sun is shining as leaves fly off of the trees and land on the rocks and off of the mountain trail. Soon the peace is interrupted by a stone wall getting popped up in their path forcing them to make an abrupt stop and bandits and looters cockily stepped from behind trees "alright step off of the cart so we can take the goods. Let's make this smooth and quick" one of the bandits told Jhiang as Xiao was still asleep in the back but that may not last long since they stopped moving and when he wakes up after just going to sleep he tends to get cranky and lava happens

"Now, couldn't we just work out a better arrangement, I really don't think you wanna mess with us, so why don't we just talk about this hm?" He asked the bandit as he tried to negotiate their way through.

[BabyGabrial]

"What was that? That didn't sound like you getting off" the clear bandit leader said lifting some boulders to toss at Jhiang. "Hey boss look back here there's a kid over here. Looks like he's asleep" one of the underlings called climbing up on the back of the cart 

[GuardianWolves]

"Hey now, don't touch that boy, he gets very anxious and when he is anxious, he gets cranky and when he gets cranky, there's no telling what the boy could do, he could kill you all if he was cranky enough, so why don't you just be on your merry way and we will pretend like this didn't happen." He told the bandits as he avoided the boulders and kicked his feet at the ground and sent some of the earth right back at the bandit leader.

"Thats it we warned you. Three of the five bandits kicked up rocks and pebbles and launched them like bullets at Jhiang but then a pillar of lava shot up "What the hell!?" One of the bandits screamed as they backed up "huh?" The bandit behind the cart looked confused  and jumped down only to feel an insane burning sensation under his feet  and panicked trying to run to safety. Xiao sits up very cranky and starts whining as has lavea pour downhill towards the bandits to scare them more than kill them.

Jiang just let the bandits go and then went to calm down the boy before he started the cart again and continued along their journey

Once dada came to calm him down Xiao solidified the lava making the road passable again but a bit rockier. He pouted and reached for dada wanting cuddles at least until he fell back to sleep the journey would take a day or two by cart so they may have to stop in a town in between at least later when the sun starts setting hopefully they don't have any more interruptions.

Jiang was already cuddling the boy before he had reached for him and just let the cart drive along the road and cuddled his son as he watched him sleep, he really hoped that there were not any more bandits lying  in wait to try and take what wasn't theirs.

Their travels for the next few hours run smoothly  as they get through the mountains amd and start moving towards the coast. Xiao wakes up from his nap and  continues to lean on dada as his face starts scrunching up and goes red . It was pretty clear to the eye of any parent what he was doing  luckily the trail so far seems to be pretty empty as they hear animals scurry and run by the beated pathway.

Jiang knew he was gonna have to change his son soon if the boy was doing what he thought he was doing and just waited for the inevitable and then would have to find a good place to set up and then he could change the boy. This was gonna slow their timetable down by a whole lot.

Xiao made cute audible grunts as the back of his pants expaned and drooped due to his diaper not being able to hold much.  It can take one of his messes but not much after that. Xiao felt a little guilty. This is why he likes it when this happens in the morning and not on the road so they can go ahead and get it out of the way and not have to make stops. He can sit in his messy diaper but they're going to have to make a stop to change him sooner or later so probably best to stop as they find a nice open spot.

Jiang found a nice open area and stopped, making a tent and letting his son get off before starting to change the boy into a fresh cloth diaper and then would continue the journey to their next destination, luckily this one hadn't been too bad this time.

They didn't put up an actual tent Jhiang just made a stone one with his earth bending so that no one passing by could see what was going on. They would need to find a lake or a river or something to clean Xiao's poopoo diapers. Dada usually keeps a bucket of water on the cart whenever its time for a diaper change. Once Xiao was clean and in a new diaper he reached up to be picked up and taken back to the cart.

Jiang brought the boy to the cart and placed him in the back as he went back to the front and started the cart again, he had thrown the poopy diaper away and just continued on his way.

Xiao looked around at these weastern Earth Kingdom falls. With the leaves all color changed and falling everywhere. He started to hungry though. He would hate to ask dada to stop so they can kill something to eat especially since he just had to have a change a little while ago and he didn't know if dada was upset with him about that or not.

Jiang would not have been upset, but he did not wanna be stopping so soon.

Xiao stuck it and tried hanging on for just a few more hours he was sitting there in the back of the wagon watching the world go by until up ahead they see what appears to be another cart but it looks destroyed. As a traveler you can see by the marks that it wasn't man made. Not even a bender could make marks like that. There seems to be a trail of blood leading down the road and into the woods from the cart saying whatever did this took the driver. Xiao knew this and it only scared him more and he whimpered and was looking to get ready to cry.

Jiang saw the destroyed cart and looked for another pass they could take that wouldn't scare the poor kid, he hoped it wasn't a wild animal that had attacked that cart and destroyed it, but then again he really didn't know what else could have destroyed that cart. Eventually, though he managed to find a safe passage and lead them up it which would lengthen their journey by another two days, but it was better than getting attacked by someone, or something.

Xiao grabbed the map from one of their bags to see where exactly they are going now and what would be the best route to take to their destination from there. The pathway they are taking is definitely much more hilly which means more work for the ostrich-horses and they will probably have to feed them more to keep up their energy. "Dada if we keep going this way we'll be going to more swampy areas." Xiao warned Jiang holding up the map and pointing to where they are headed.

"It's the only way to avoid the beasts son, all the other passes that will lead us back to that destroyed cart." He said as he nodded

"Okay i trust my dada" he says with that cute little boy smile as he lays down and tries to go back to sleep to get some rest as they circle into the Earth Kingdom's western in land. They pretty much have two choices either try to cut through the swamps which at best will make their journey three days or try to cut through the great divide which will take even longer but once they are through there are villages they can visit for some supplies and try to sell some small stuff along their way to the coast.
