Dr. Mitchel makes a note to have your throat checked along with anything else that might hurt.

Ashley held her tummy as well it hurting a lot too. She cuddles close to her daddy hiding her face still

Dr. Mitchel makes a note of it as well feeling that an X-ray might be necessary.

Ashley holds onto daddy and whimpers being in pain and holds on tighter shaking when they say they might do an x-ray

"It's okay Ashley; daddy's not going anywhere" Tony says softly trying to assure Ashley that everything will be okay.

Ashley still held on tight to him not wanting hI'm to put her down but she knew he had to.

Tony gently lays Ashley on the examination table and gives her a kiss followed by Jill and Kate with even Morgan wanting to before they have to get behind the glass so the machine can work as soon as Dr. Mitchel has a protective cloth over Ashley.

Ashley tears up and holds very still out of fear. She starts crying wanting daddy being very very scared.

The machine instantly does it's job and it's safe to re-enter which Tony does so he can bring Ashley back into his arms as soon as he's permitted to do so; Dr. Mitchel examines everything as soon as it's ready.

Ashley quickly reaches up for daddy when he comes and then cuddles close to him crying. She waits for them to look at the xrays and realize she has a slight rip in her esophagus. Not bad enough to do anything major but enough to make it painful and her stomach was just upset from swallowing the blood that came 9th of the spot in her throat that was beleeding

Dr. Mitchel tells us that you need surgery to correct a rip in your esophagus so Ashley will be able to stop coughing up blood; she'll be restricted to soft foods for a few months after the surgery though.

Ashley hears that and starts crying and holds onto daddy not wanting surgery. She was afraid she would never come out. She held onto her daddy so tight that no one could get her grip undone. That's how scared she was

The doctor said, "no sorry surgery is the only way for it to be fixed. Otherwise it will get a lot worse."

Ashley started crying more nit liking that idea at all.

Tony gently makes sure to get Ashley to look at him;

Ashley listens to daddy and nods and says, "pwmoist dada?" It came out funny because her throat hurt so bad.

"Daddy promises baby girl" Tony answers while continuing to hold Ashley.

Ashey cuddled her daddy as she coughed into her hand as more blood came out.

Ashley takes it and continues coughing. She leans into her daddy looking really weak and tired having lost a good amounot of blood. She says, "daddy me feew funny and dizzy."

Dr. Mitchel has the OR prepped and ready for Ashley so they can operate immediately.

Ashley starts to shake again but not as bad this time. She was scared something bad would happen.

Tony, Jill and Kate are given scrubs to change into since they don't intend to leave Ashley like Tony promised; Morgan is taken to the hospital's daycare area.

Ashlet started to tear up as she was changed bint a hospital gown and got more scared

Jill, Kate and Tony make sure Ashley knows they're still with her the whole time even as the operation gets underway.
