pikarawrs
Hi, I'm new to this whole thing and I'm wondering what would be a good brand to buy. Iv looked around for a while but I really have no clue where to start o.O I would like it to be reasonably absourbant and to be something I could buy in a store such as shoppers drug Mart. I'm in B.C. canada so if anyone has any recommendations I would love to hear them c: Link to comment
sonofninasayers
Try different brands to see which one you like the best Link to comment
DavidMW
In the US most regular drugstores carry brands that aren't especially absorbent - they're geared for pretty mild leakage. Link to comment
pikarawrs
Thanks guys! I guess I'll just test out what I can and see what works best. And I didnt think of the extra protection so that will help a lot Link to comment
spoonchicken
try xpmedical dot com, and / or bambinodiapers dot com......and the advice regarding boosters is sound. Canada I don't know about, but in America the rule of thumb is that store-brand diapers suck. Only an on-line vendor can sell you a "real" diaper product, but then again, the primary factors are your level & frequency of usage, as well as your exact body type. Perhaps a cheap-o store brand would work just fine for you....or not. You'll really just have to "buy blind", try them out, and see what seems to work well for you based on trial & error. crinklyplastic
Shoppers drug mart sells Tena Super briefs. Link to comment
Dr_Greenthumb
I agree with Crinkly! Tena supers are likely the best you'll find at a store, and they are ok, depending on if you like cloth backing, the depends protection with tabs are a bit thinner, so do not hold quite as much but are plastic backed. And as others have stated online is Tue only place to find good diapers, I shop at agecomfort.com free shipping on orders over $50 and sometimes abena m/l 4's come on sale for $60/case. Hope this helps! Link to comment
pikarawrs
Thank you so much guys! I think for my first trip at least I'm gonna spring for the Tena supers with a booster. Honestly I'm not expecting too much, I'm just excited to start with anything! So thanks again everyone, you really helped me out! Link to comment
