This is one really awesome movie, without the 3D. My best friend and I went to see it in theaters yesterday, and it was so well done it looked like they were using real owls. I describe the detail as "it's as if they rendered every single atom." The story was cute, not much knew there other than the characters were mostly owls. However the beauty of the film is mostly in the artistic rendering and design. I highly recommend seeing it in theaters, no home system could do it justice, just don't bother forking out the extra for 3D unless you REALLY like seeing movies in the new 3D, it wouldn't have made it any better.

PS: Even if I wanted to waste the money on 3D, the glasses do not fit over my normal glasses anyway so I can't see them.
