Toddler Diapers As A Bedwetter

I had toddler diapers given to me as a boy to soak up my nightly wetting. Was anyone else here given those? I asked my mom why I didn't actually have diapers that I could wear and she said she didn't know they existed. I was just wondering how many others might have started their diaper life in a similar way, bedwetting without the proper supplies.
