Non Woven Top Sheet

Hello

I was doing a search for companies that might still make baby diapers with plastic like back sheets. And in my search I noticed something mentioned about non-woven top sheet. Is this more like a classic plastic outer shell? I read something about this new stop sheet using some kind of revised cone pattern to direct water. I'm wondering if these new diapers are closer to what the plastic/latex disposable diapers use to be?

The non-woven top sheet is what separates your skin from the padding, keeping urine from seeping back to the skin to give you a dry feeling.
