I currently wear disposables but soon I will be moving to a large city to go back to college and rent will be a considerable strain. I am considering buying some cloth diapers before moving and fronting the costs now in hopes of some savings down the road. What I'm wondering is if anyone has switched and seen any appreciable savings. I know there is the consideration for the environment but also there are more utilities in washing. Secondly, what is the best place to buy cloth diapers and what is the best type to get. I would like something that is contoured with velco tabs is possible but pins are doable. Opinions.
