European Diapers?

I recently tried european style diapers, and now I don't want to go back to the American companies anymore. If you haven't trie some you owe it to yourself. Anyway my favorite are the Tena slips and I've been buying them from save expess but their shipping takes way too long (3 months last time) So I was wondering if anyone knew of any other place that ships them to the US? Thanks for any help you can give me.

You might try Ebay...sometimes you'll find North Americans selling European diapers. Or you could pay more for faster shipping, if your current supplier offers it.

www.ohwe.de is the only EU based retailer that commonly ships European brands to the US. It isn't cheap, but they have always been good to me, and are prompt with answering questions about orders from abroad.

Speaking as someone who will very soon be a British expat in the States, I'm sure going to miss my Euro Tena Slip Maxi's.

But, when I was in the US last, I tried the Secure X-Plus and found it to be excellent - almost as good as the Euro Tena's... So if you're willing to compromise just a little bit, you could probably save yourself a small fortune on shipping and delivery times.

I just ordered what I thought was the tena Flexi slip and I got this belted thing that has a cloth exterior? That can't be what you folks from Europe are talking about are you?

The Tena Flex and the Tena Slip are two different things entirely. The Flex is evidently what you ended up with (it's not bad but a little weird). The Tena Slip is a normal plastic-covered diaper with two small but strong tapes on each side.

oooh tena they are by far the best but so pricey, Europe does offer several Tena types but alkot cheaper and one i use at the moment is called ID slips.

They are as good as tena but far cheaper.

Yes Europe or as where i am Germany, offer a good range and you can go to any specialist shop and get any diaper and plastic pant you want without questions or embarrasment.

They are always most helpful and can guide you in any problem you have without ever really thinking the diapers are for you.

Yeah Tenas are great but I recently had the all new white Bambinos given to me as a gift and I don't think I'm going to go back. Those things have everything in a diaper anyone would want From the smell, the feel, and the bulk. Thanks Bambino and thank all you guys for all the advice on the suppliers.

Ill stick with my attends 10. Ive tried every diaper and no diaper even comes close to the attends. I have a bag of molicare and abena xplus just sitting here collecting dust because I would rather wear my attends. I also put a depend booster in them for more absorbency and bulk. The 3 tapes and soft plastic remind me of the baby diapers I used to wear as a baby so I think thats why I like them so much. If you haven't tried attends 10 with a depend booster then you are missing out!

If anyone can give me the PZN number or just the bar code number from a European pack of 6 tape Attends then i would be so grateful, i have tried to get some but they are always 4 tape and not that gorgeous high waist 6 tape version.

Are the ID Slips the ones that are just like Abena Abri-Forms?

I always find the Abri-Forms much more absorbant than the TenaSlip Maxi's, but maybe I should give them another test

A second endorsement about SAVE EXPRESS (www.ohwe.de) - which still boasts by far the BIGGEST selection of diapers I've ever seen in my life.

(You can spend happy hours just drooling over the selections. Cloth lovers: try the Nick Cotton blue bear velcro diapers!!)

Save post is expensive, but up front about it - the service is great and I still highly recommend,
