These are probably first on 3 counts 1. Non-Rubber baby panties 2. Desposable diaper 3. Non-pull-on panties. I cannot tell how they are secured. I suspect they snapped on though I can't be sure

The Ebay auction I downloaded the image from said that it was a 1942 ad so these kinds of things may have been around as long as plastic panties, the first of which were said to be home-made during the war with plastic being used because rubber was rationed If that is true then there must be something special about rubber and plastic for wetproof panties. I have always said that, judging from what I have seen from about 1950 to 1969, mommies enjoyed feeling the material. maybe not all of them, but certainly many or even most. They would rub their hands along the panties after pulling them up in place, and from the sound the rubbing made, it was too soft to be straightening them out and when I was diapered between ages 6-2/3 and 8 during the day and until I was 9-3/4 at night, I got an occasional panty-rubbing, too as did Linda. For as long as I have known, the waterproofing has let go after awhile. It does not say how the Batiste was waterproofed Apparently we also have what appear to be the first throw-away diaper on record, even before prefolds

At work tonight I had an accident. Previously I had mentioned the near accidents I've had after long period of staying diapered, but those never resulted in anything more than a few drops of wee in the gusset of my panties. This time was much worse. I had to poop, but it wasnt too bad and there were funny pictures on Reddit that needed me to look at them, so I wasn't too concerned. When I decided to stretch my legs and take care of business it happened. I didn't think I had to go so bad, but when I stood up my bottom erupted. I pooped my pants! I couldn't believe it! Thankfully only one other person was there, and he had no idea. I high-tailed it to the bathroom to survey the damage. Thankfully, even though the mess was kind of wet it was entirely contained to my panties. I tried to clean them off, but they were hopeless, so I decided to go commando for the rest of the night. When I got home I decided to diaper myself as "punishment." I was so embarrassed! The only saving grace was that no one noticed. I don't know if I could go back if anyone did. I'm 27 years old, and I pooped my panties.
