[Have you ever been told you smell because of your bedwetting?]

I've wet the bed my entire life and been very manic as an adult about keeping my body clean. As a kid, my room always had the smell of pee, other kids would always remark about it and they usually knew that I wet. I contend (beyond the pores theory) that the smell in the room permeates your clothes and hair , and that's what people smell.

I doubt I will ever forget the day in 1984 when I first spotted these on the shelves of the drug store in Sacramento. Until then I had used cloth for bedwetting along with either my Staydry Pants or the Montgomery Wards plastic pants. Those Attends were the greatest innovation and the fragrance was intoxicating. My clear recollection was also a white cloth like interior and I was horrified by the change to the very uncomfortable blue plastic interior change years later when I moved on to other alternatives. The Wings brand and the green Depends were my next go to diapers.
