I think I may have got it this time, I re-made everything, and followed the original design nearly to a "T", I think the only thing I did was extend the main tube by 1.5 CM to end up with 12.5CM after folding in the ends and maybe took 5-8MM off the inner tubes to bring them down to look more like the images. I have it in now and I can't feel it (yet) and I think I'm leaking into my diaper, I can't be sure, I didn't have much in my bladder when I inserted so I'm not 100% sure but I think I got it

Blood is never a good sign, so please stop using that stent. Could you send me some pics of it (next to a ruler). Maybe I can tell what the problem might be.

Cathdiap, here's the 2 that I currently have made up, neither one of them works right, I've made several adjustments to the bend spacing but haven't been able to come up with anything that works quite right. Thanks for helping me figure out where I went wrong, eventually I'd love to get one tuned in well enough to cut the retrieval cord short enough to let the O ring on the end slip inside but still be easily removed using a crochet hook.

Nice to have you back Cathdiap.
Moving on to other things, I'm still having issues with inward migration, most of the time it just slips in past the external sphincter, other times it goes all the way into the bladder which makes it a bloody (literally) nightmare to get out and it's a clone of Cathdiap's design

Sounds like it's too long.
You should be able to feel the end around your ball sack area
yea, it was a bit too long, I could feel it through the front of the sack, in a bit but not much, I trimmed it and it worked ok for a bit and then I decided that it was still just a hair too long and trimmed again, I'm giving my urethra a little break then time to test again, just have to remember to hold it for a while before I change again

ok, so things are sort-of working but I have a small issue with inward migration that I'm adjusting out but the other issue I'm having is the outer end is a bit irritating and I can only get comfortable if I point my penis up. does that mean that I have things too long or what, I'm definitely leaking though which has me excited. anyone have suggestions?

so finally after what seems like forever, I have replicated a working stent along Ferix's design that is almost not noticeable other than the retrieval line and periodic dribble or uncontrollable flash flood. when I started with this design I couldn't even get it in an inch, now I have a stent in and it's somewhat comfortable and I'm having "accidents" so I'm happy, hopefully I can keep it in overnight and wake up soaked (preferably not leaking) but I'd say that things are working
Update: everything was great until I started to get an erection and boy did that hurt, maybe I have the outer end too long

I've decided to have another go at this, I have a stent that I finished a couple days ago but I think it's too short because it didn't work and it's the last of my tubing so I've ordered more, this should be fun, wish me luck

Sorry to hear that. Did you try some lubricant before insertion?
yea, I had no problem inserting an 18fr Foley but I guess the 6mm tubing with the cut ends turned in per your design is too large, it's like it hits a wall about 6mm in

I can't seem to get mine inserted more than about a 5mm

I'll have to see how it goes with it up in an Abena M4 and abri-let maxi

Brian, your post sounds exactly like what happened with me, pain from the bits all kinked and pain from my bladder that was desperately trying to empty through my kinked urethra
-
If you are going to learn bedwetting, yes fluid load but you have to think away the midnight wood and also if you wake up do not move or do anything.your mind needs to learn that waking you is unnecessary because you are diapered,if you move or do anything but void the brain will continue to wake you and will Form a memory of whatever you teach yourself to do.
So wake up void and go back to sleep is the only way your brain will learn waking you or with holding is pointless because it's covered.
Good Luck

Well, I was of course diapered and I usually have no problem wetting laying down but when I am awoken by my bladder because I was attempting to cause myself to wet in my sleep, I cannot wet no matter the position unless I reach in and adjust. My guess as to a cause is a kinked urethra because of the arousal and position as I was definitely able to relax enough to wet, I was even pushing, relatively hard too, but was only able to get a small amount out before I adjusted if that makes more sense than my first post
-
So last night I fluid-loaded before bed and woke up in the wee hours of the morning busting to go and couldn't wet, I got up and moved around and tried to wet but I was unable to let go until I re-positioned my semi-erect "hardware" from pointing down to up.
Does anyone have advice on how to prevent this issue for the next time I try to bedwetting?
Sorry if I was too graphic

I keep my diapers in 3 drawers in my dresser, more in some plastic rolling drawers in my closet and whats left goes under my bed

I'm close to Tarpon Springs
Do you NEED diapers?

So I voted yes for bedwetting but my bedwetting has developed from wearing 24/7 for about 9.5 months so even though it's more of a trained "behavior" I'd still call it a need since I have a good chance of waking up in a puddle if I go to bed without a diaper and am not dehydrated
