The reason the rich are and for the most part should be dispised is that most of them did not earn their money and insteed just inherrited and because of that they have no appreciatation for that money and waste it in hedonism. Ok read my whole post I'm not for any of the republican candidates and I despise the tea party more than I can properly describe, as a side note though I do think America can be saved it'll just take more than one person president or not. I had a problem with your reasoning for not liking Romney, because he's mormon, which I just think is a dispiacable reason to not vote for someone. Ron Paul would support the elimination of the Federal Reserve Bank. Most people don't know it but the Federal Reserve is a privately owned corporation. It is a federal as Federal Express. For the last 100 years, the progressives have had us moving toward socialism. Socialism is a stepping stone to Marxism.

There are too many people, that want to use the government to confiscate part of other peoples lives to acomplish their own political agenda. I am saying Republicans and or Democrats are both responsible for America's problems. It is the progressive branch of both parties that created problems. The biggest offenders happened to be Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndyn Johnson, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush (both of them) Bill Clinton and Obama.

The government needs to get away from social issues. Prior to LBJ's Great Society, there weren't people starving in the street. People had access to healthcare. Charitable organizations like the Red Cross, the Catholic Church and others took care of social issues.

I'm seeing this more in the republican ads but now I'm also seeing this in Obama's ads as well and its really annoying me to no end, mudslinging. Why is this so effective, why are people so easily taken in by this type of campaigning. this is a relative issue aside from personal beliefs the only food that is univeraly morally pugnate to eat is another human being, i.e. cannibalism. Although I couldn't ever eat a dog in all reality they are below us on the food chain so if someone decied to eat them I'll think no less of them for it I'm of the belief that even if I can't stomach a certain animal being eaten such as dogs as long as their deaths had a purpose, here to provide nurishment, then it isn't evil or bad. and even if this was offensive to me it wouldn't change my political opinion about Obama and although hearing the thing about the dog on Romneys car roof made me think less of him as a person it still didn't change my political opinion about him.

ok I know the parties are seperate from the government I'n not saying its possible to get ride of them I'm saying it would be better had they never been created period but they were so yeah we're stuck with them. and fair enough I misunderstood your point but the first issue I stated is still there its not possible to insure that every citizen is educated and informed enough to make reasonable decisions in elections which is the reason the electoral college exist to act as a buffer for ignorance in the political process, and that not a dig at anyone in particular or even people with politicaly incorrect opinions but people who don't know what roles a politcal position has and who don't know anything about political candidates.

Diapered Jason it is the parties fault for suppuling people with an easy path to an opinion based not on the individuals own thoughts and opinions but on partisan bases and while i don't nessecarliy disagree with you on the problems with the electoral college the alternative is to be a direct democracy which we can't be there are a few major reasons we're a republic:

1. it'd be impossible to insure every citizan is informed enough to make wise judgements in elections which is why we have the elctorate.

2. there are too many people to account for each person in an election if every vote counted legistically it'd be a nightmare

3. direct democracys are nice in theory and in a city like Athens it can work but for such a large and diverse populace it leaves too big a window for corruptions its much simpler to have a contained set of individuals who can be better watched for corruption than letting the whole country run wild.

And also while it wouldn't be easy or plassible to campaign with a limited budget theres no manditory cost for running for elections and standing on a connor soap box is free so while i get what your saying its not impossible to run with out partisan monteray backing.
